LeBron James says he'll be parking it if the NBA bans fans from the games amid growing fears of the coronavirus -- which might become a reality sooner than later.
LBJ said it clear as day to reporters in the locker room Friday night after his and the Lakers' thunderous win over the Milwaukee Bucks in L.A. -- explaining it quite plainly like this, "We play games without the fans? Nah, it's impossible. He added, "I ain't playing!"
His comments come after a reported league memo was sent around to all teams Friday, which told them to prepare for the possibility of having fan-less games in the near future because of the rapidly growing pandemic, which has already spread to several states in the U.S.
The King went on to say he plays the game for the fans specifically, and says if they're not in the building ... he doesn't see a point in stepping out on the court. It sounds like he might be joking, but also ... he very well might not be. It'd be an interesting situation for sure.
Fact is ... the playoffs are happening soon, and the Lakers just clinched a spot for the first time since 2013. And with LeBron at the helm -- and after missing last year's playoffs -- folks would absolutely tune in now ... on TV, we suppose, and not in person if this comes to pass.
Not only that, but Bron is KILLING it this year ... he's in the running for regular-season MVP, so if he just cut all that short and said screw it -- things could potentially turn ugly.
LeBron is one of those guys with enough clout and influence that he could potentially get away with something like that, but our gut's telling us Adam Silver wouldn't let it slide without putting up a fight and lobbying the superstar for the sake of precious ratings.
Here comes TFW coronavirus starts messing with your regular sports programming.

On Friday, officials announced the 2020 SXSW festival will be canceled amid growing fears over the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading, reports Dallas News.
The annual Austin, Texas festival was slated to run from March 13-22.
SXSW organizers previously said the festival would still take place.
“We are devastated to share this news with you,” conference organizers wrote in a statement on the SXSW website. ” ‘The show must go on’ is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 34 years that the March event will not take place. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.”
Austin mayor Steve Adler said during a press conference that he issued an order canceling the conference and declared a local disaster in the city, according to CNBC. However, there are no confirmed cases in Austin.
The cancellation comes after several high-profile artists, comedians and brands began dropping out of the festival over coronavirus concerns. Apple and Netflix were among two companies that pulled out Thursday, along with Facebook, Intel and Twitter.
Beastie Boys, Trent Reznor and Ozzy Osbourne, who recently revealed he has Parkinson’s disease, also bailed on the festival.
The move to cancel SXSW comes after more than 200 cases of coronavirus were confirmed across the nation. Globally, more than 100,000 have been infected with the flu-like disease. In New York state, the total number of cases is now 33 and over 4,000 people are quarantined as a precaution.
Coronavirus could explode in the nation's jails as inmates are squeezed in like sardines in filth.
TMZ has contacted various jails, including L.A. County Men's Jail as well as jails in San Francisco and New York. They all say they are wiping down surfaces at least daily and ramping up sanitation efforts.
Tell that to Jose Abalos, who just got out of L.A. County Men's Jail for "regular carjacking." He says he was placed in a cell that had not been cleaned from the previous inmate and it was disgusting ... it smelled like urine. He left Friday morning with a cough and wheezing. He says the jail gave him meds but he's worried and is going to a doctor.
Abalos also said no one from the jail told the inmates anything about coronavirus or how to prevent it.
Another inmate, Arturo, also was released from L.A. County Men's Jail Friday morning, and he says there was blood and fecal matter on the walls and says the place was dirty and disgusting. He says he had one shower in 20 days.
Officials at L.A. County Men's Jail tell TMZ they are screening inmates for the virus ... although some of the inmates we spoke with say that's news to them.

SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) - A woman is facing a family violence charge after she reportedly handcuffed her son and whipped him with an extension cord.
We first reported the story this week when a neighbor found a teenage boy wandering around in the Caracol Creek neighborhood with handcuffs and no shoes.
"I asked him if he was okay and he said he needed help," the neighbor said. "He sounded young, very young. I want to say maybe 14."
The neighbor said she noticed the young boy was covered in cuts and scrapes. "He had what looked like belt marks on his legs and his face was pretty beat up."
Following the incident, investigators spoke to the child's mother, identified as Amanda Guevara, 33, who said she handcuffed her son and hit him with an extension cord because he got in trouble at school for vaping in class and for being in possession of a knife, according to court documents.
An arrest affidavit states, Guevara said her son "has been getting in trouble and has not been listening to her stating she has had enough and therefore decided to discipline him for his actions."
Deputies noted in the report that the boy had "whip marks" on both legs. He received medical attention at the scene.
Guevara faces a charge of assault causing bodily injury-family.
