Vanessa Bryant, widow of NBA star Kobe Bryant, called out Nike on Thursday, claiming the footwear manufacturer released an unapproved "MAMBACITA" shoe honoring the Bryants' late daughter, Gianna Bryant, after photos circulated online that appeared to show someone in possession of the shoe.

"This is a shoe I worked on in honor of my daughter, Gianna. It was going to be called the MAMBACITA shoe as an exclusive black & white colorway on her daddy’s shoes," Bryant wrote on Instagram.

Kobe Bryant, who won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, & his daughter Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, who was 13, died in a helicopter crash in January 2020.

In the post, Bryant said she designed the shoe with special signifiers of Gianna's life: the No. 2 that appeared on her uniform; the names "Kobe" and "Gigi" on the back of the shoe; a butterfly, wings and halo.

However, she went on to say she had not authorized the shoe for sale.

"The MAMBACITA shoes are NOT approved for sale. I wanted it to be sold to honor my daughter with ALL of the proceeds benefitting our @mambamambacitasports foundation, but I did not re-sign the Nike contract and decided not to sell these shoes," Bryant wrote.

She said not only had the shoe not been approved to be sold but that it wasn't approved to be manufactured, either.

"Nike has NOT sent any of these pairs to me and my girls. I do not know how someone else has their hands on shoes I designed in honor of my daughter, Gigi & we don't. I hope these shoes did not get sold @nike," Bryant wrote.

Lil Loaded's mother is the person who called police after finding him dead from a gunshot to the head, and we've learned she instantly knew what had upset her son.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops in Cedar Hill, Texas responded Monday morning to a call for an attempted suicide and when they arrived at the home, Lil Loaded's mom was crying on the front porch and the rapper was dead inside with a gun nearby.

Police say LL's mom told them she had returned home to find her son in the second-floor hallway. Cops also say she told them he was emotional Sunday night, crying and upset over how much he loved his ex-girlfriend.

As we reported, the up-and-coming rapper died over the holiday weekend & his attorney, Ashkan Mehryari, seemed to believe Lil Loaded killed himself. The 20-year-old MC also posted an ominous message before his death.

Lil Loaded's post read in part, "Dear most high, please forgive me for my shortcomings & all of the times I’ve fell short of making you proud."

He added, "I ask for entrance into your kingdom thru all of my mistakes. I know you love all your children, & I’m ready for my heart & soul to join you."

Although his mother mentioned the situation with his ex, Loaded had also recently been charged with manslaughter for a 2020 shooting death, & was out on bond.

UNION CITY, Ga. — Marquavis Goolsby, who goes by the stage name of Dae Dae, is currently wanted by the Union City Police Department.

The Atlanta rapper, who made a splash on the hip-hop scene with his 2015 hit “What You Mean,” is now part of an investigation by the Union City Police Department.

Goolsby is suspected of being involved in a stabbing at a Union City Dunkin’ location in December.

According to police, they were called to the Dunkin’ location in Union City in response to a fight. Police arrived and said the victim, Mekiah Bryant, was lying on the floor. Bryant had a visible cut to her left arm, according to the report.

Officers questioned Bryant about what happened. She said an unknown man pulled into the drive-thru and, after not being able to get the items he wanted, began to get upset. He then left the location.

Bryant said the man returned, exited his red Audi and started a verbal altercation with staff. According to Bryant, the verbal altercation then turned physical. She said at some point the man pulled out a knife and swung it at her multiple times. Bryant says that is how she got the laceration on her arm.

The unknown male left the location, but not before leaving some evidence behind. The suspect managed to leave of his white sneakers behind in the midst of all of the commotion.

Goolsby was not in custody at last report.

Technically, dry scooping isn't anything new, but it has recently come back into the public eye with more people trying it on TikTok before their workouts. The gist: You are supposed to take a scoop of pre-workout powder dry and then chase it with water, as opposed to taking it how it's intended (diluting the powder with water and then drinking it).

For the most part, people come away from the trend unscathed—but two women had a pretty scary reaction to dry-scooping: One shared that she actually had a heart attack, and another couldn't breathe and needed her inhaler.

In a TikTok video posted on April 15, Briatney Portillo shared her experience: "Taking a dry pre workout scoop [because] I saw it trending on TikTok," she wrote in a caption over a photo with a rainbow clown face filter. "Ending up in the hospital because I had a heart attack," she added.

Portillo, 20, told BuzzFeed that she had a "heavy feeling" in her chest and "slight pain" after she tried dry scooping but added that it "wasn't too bad." She went to her job as an exotic dancer and "started sweating a lot" even though she was wearing a bikini. She developed more intense chest pain that "went to my back and to my left arm and my left arm went slightly limp, so I knew those were symptoms of a heart attack. I called 911 and the ambulance came," she said.

Portillo eventually shared in her comments on TikTok that she had what's known as a non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), which is a partial or temporary blockage of blood flow to the heart, according to the Cleveland Clinic. "I have no heart conditions and I still got messed up," she said.

Former President Donald Trump has been telling people he thinks he'll return to the White House as the sitting president by August, the New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted on Tuesday.

Haberman, who broke some of the biggest stories of the Trump administration and has been covering him for decades, added that Trump had been "laser focused" on election audits in states whose results he is still trying to overturn.

The anti-democratic conspiracy theory has been bubbling up in fringe conservative media for several months. It has no basis under the Constitution or any legitimate legal framework.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has been a prominent proponent of the theory.

The former Trump attorney Sidney Powell also floated the idea at a QAnon conference over the weekend.

The anticipation of a Trump reinstatement on a certain date could spread further among the most dedicated Trump supporters. The calls to help overturn the 2020 election on January 6, for example, gained steam through a pro-Trump bus tour by a fringe group and led to the insurrection at the Capitol.

Lindell has said August is when he would go to the Supreme Court to present evidence he's acquired that would be so convincing that the justices would be forced to reject the 2020 election result.

A podcast from the former Trump advisor Steve Bannon has amplified the conspiracy theory, as Lindell and others have gone on the show to promote it with minimal pushback.

The podcast is influential among GOP lawmakers hoping to avoid a primary challenge while seeking reelection.

Trump's lawyers and other Republicans filed dozens of lawsuits related to the election; all failed.

Rapper DaBaby was among several people interviewed following a double shooting on Miami Beach's Ocean Drive late Monday that left two people hospitalized and two other people arrested, police said.

Christopher Urena, 29, and Wisdom Awute, 21, face charges of attempted first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault, according to arrest reports. Urena faces additional charges of grand theft and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

Miami Beach Police officials confirmed that the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was among the people interviewed after the shooting. Police later said the rapper had been released.

DaBaby had posted a video on Instagram on Monday of him performing at a private event at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

According to the arrest report, the shooting stemmed from an argument between two groups of men. It's not clear what they were arguing over.

Awute -- a rapper who goes by the name Wisdom and is in DaBaby's music entourage -- is accused of shooting a man in the leg. Urena is accused of shooting someone in the back, who, according to the report, is still in the hospital and paralyzed.

Miami Beach Police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said officers arrived at the scene near 1st Street and Ocean Drive around 11:30 p.m. Monday and found two people who had been shot.

Both victims, one with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and another who was shot in the leg, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

Police said one of the victims was treated and released but the other remained hospitalized Tuesday in critical condition. Their identities weren't released.

DaBaby is being questioned by Miami police following a shooting late Monday night that left 2 people injured -- one critically ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells us ... cops interviewed the rapper as part of their investigation into the incident, which went down near several popular Miami Beach restaurants just before midnight.

We're told detectives are actively following leads in the shooting, and though several people were initially detained ... so far no arrests have been made. 

Our sources say one of the shooting victims has been treated at the hospital and released, but the other remained hospitalized and is listed in critical condition.

Earlier this year, TMZ was the first to report that DaBaby was arrested in Beverly Hills for allegedly carrying a loaded firearm.

Leslie Gillespie, the Alabama teacher recently arrested and charged with the sex molestation of two students, has died by suicide.

Once a high school English teacher in North Courtland, Leslie Gillespie’s career came crashing down thanks to the sexual assault allegations.

The 44-year-old taught at R.A. Hubbard High School.

Indiana authorities arrested Leslie Gillespie on Thursday & charged the teacher with rape & sodomy for her alleged defiling by sex of two underage students.

The charges against Leslie Gillespie in connection with the teacher’s alleged sexual assaults of the teens were felonies.

The two alleged victims were 15 & 16 years old at the time of the assaults.

She was released on a $60,000 bond.

Then on Saturday, she reportedly ended her life.

Meaww reports that Gillespie appears to have shot herself.

“It appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” coroner Scott Norwood said after analyzing the body of Leslie Gillespie, the teacher accused of sexual assault.

Indiana police found Gillespie’s body at her home in Hillsboro.

That’s a small town in Lawrence County.
