Video After The Jump MTV Reports Emimen strode out onto the American Music Awards' stage on Sunday night (November 22), looking very much like a prizefighter ready to deliver a knockout. "In this corner, weighing 175 pounds, with a record of 17 rapes, 400 assaults and four murders," Em shouted, channeling his inner Michael Buffer, "The most diabolical human in the world ... Slim Shady."
He then launched headlong into a hulking version of "Crack a Bottle," delivering lines like body blows, bobbing and weaving across the stage, his face covered by a hood. Em spit with fire and hunger, and the crowd nodded their heads with the beat and went nuts when Em welcomed a very special guest to the stage: none other than another heavyweight brawler, 50 Cent. The two exchanged daps in the middle of the stage and then 50 got to work on his verse, looking lean and mean in a stocking cap and bubble vest. 50 disappeared just as soon as he arrived, and Em's DJ cut "Bottle" short, flipping instead into the chorus of Drake's massive hit "Forever." The crowd threw their hands in the air and Eminem, now with his hood removed and his eyes scanning the audience, dove into his verse. The censors got on most of his lines, but there were sill jokes about macadamia nuts and fromunda cheese (we told you he was hungry). then, at the end of his tight verse, he thrust his fist into the air as the crowd cheered wildly, further proving he's still the champ.

Billboard Reports Less than a year after releasing his eighth studio album, "Back on My B.S.," New York rapper Busta Rhymes plans to shift the state of the music industry, which he says is "dying like cancer is killing it," with his brand new effort, "The Chemo." "I called the album 'The Chemo' because it seems like the industry and music overall is dying slowly," Busta told Billboard.com of the Flipmode/Universal Motown project, slated for an early 2010 release. "The cancer that's stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure." Still, Busta recognizes those artists who are taking a stand against the "dying industry" by putting out "great music," stating, "Jay-Z put out an incredible album this year and Lil Wayne put out an incredible album last year." Others he commends include Jadakiss, Drake and Trey Songz. Busta's also played a role this year with the release of "B.S.," which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, selling 135,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Although a single hasn't been selected yet, Busta says fans can expect new music to hit the radio waves and blogosphere next month. So far, features on "Chemo" include Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Wyclef Jean, Sean "Diddy" Combs and his collective, Dirty Money. Busta recently signed a "very lucrative business deal" with Venom Energy drinks, a beverage under the Snapple company umbrella. The opportunity, which includes nationwide advertising, branding and promotional opportunities, was proposed to him through his management team at Violator Management, says Busta, adding, "the most appealing thing about the situation was just the room they were leaving for the nature of the relationship between Venom and Busta Rhymes to just grow."

Forbes Reports A collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia, including the now iconic rhinestone-studded glove he wore when he performed his first moonwalk dance in 1983, is being sold at auction. The glove and other Jackson items are part of a music memorabilia auction being held by Julien's Auctions at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York's Times Square on Saturday.

Michael Jackson's Crystal Shoe will also be auctioned today Jackson wore the left-handed glove, which accompanied his fedora, when he unveiled what was to become his trademark dance on Motown's 25th-anniversary TV special. It's a modified, store-bought glove covered with a mesh of rhinestones. The glove's pre-auction estimate is between $40,000 and $60,000. The pop icon, who died June 25 at age 50, gave the glove to Walter "Clyde" Orange, of the singing group the Commodores, after the 1983 performance. NY Daily News Reports Condoms may make for safe sex, but a city teacher says they made for unsafe conditions at a Manhattan high school. Karen Hollander is suing the Department of Education over injuries she says she suffered following a nasty spill on garbage and "slippery foreign substances" that included condoms discarded by students at the High School of Art & Design. Hollander says she suffered injuries to her head and nervous system after her Nov. 12, 2008, tumble at the Second Ave. school. The suit says school officials failed to maintain safety in the cafeteria by allowing trash that included condoms to pile up on the floor. "They caused, allowed and permitted condoms to be distributed by school personnel to the students, many of which were opened during the school lunch period and thrown on the floor," says the suit.

TMZ Reports DMX may have wanted to fix his fight to avoid an ass-beating, but now he's really cruisin' for a bruisin' -- legally -- because the promoters that hired X are suing him for chickening out last minute. According to docs filed Friday in Birmingham, Alabama -- Thunder Productions wants $1,000,000 from the rapper, claiming he's a fraud and led them on ... because as soon as they refused to fix his fight, he backed out. The company says DMX's jitters really put them under the wire and cost them a ton of moolah because they had to switch gears late in the game and find a celebrity replacement. But if you want our opinion -- DMX isn't half the man who's fighting in his place on December 12 ... because that man is Coolio!!!

LA Times Reports It's not easy being on late-night television. Marv Albert, the veteran NBA announcer for TNT, was in town for the Lakers-Chicago Bulls game Thursday night. On Wednesday, Albert was a guest on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show. The musical star was rapper 50 Cent. As Albert arrived, with an entourage of one, TNT public relations specialist Jeff Pomeroy, there was a sudden scuffle when a multitude of 50 Cent protectors seemed unfamiliar with Albert. There was shouting ("It's Marv Albert," yelled a Kimmel show guard, a pronouncement that seemed to have no effect on the 50 Cent phalanx.) There were obscenities. A fist or two flying. A "Don't you put your hands on me" pronouncement. And finally Albert made it to his waiting room, relatively unruffled but slightly puzzled. "Did you see that?" Albert said. "I thought they were kidding, but then I realized they weren't." Kimmel said Albert's appearance was at his request. "I've been a fan of Marv's for a long time," the late-night host said. "I appreciate great broadcasters who are distinctive. I like somebody who brings a real personality to the job but in a professional way. Your job is to call games, not tell jokes, not make yourself a personality. I think Marv is great." Perhaps 50 Cent's people would have recognized Albert had the broadcaster just walked down the hallway saying, "Yessssss!" **ChasinDatPaper's Two Cent's Below** So Marv Albert says he got into a fight with 50 Cent's people and was still able to walk away pretty much unharmed? Yeah right, remember Marv Albert is no stranger to controversy or police stations as his mug shot below shows. I wasn't there but something tells me if a middle aged man went heads up with Fif's goons he would probably need to be carried out on a stretcher and not be in any condition to talk about it.
