Poll After The Jump Nicki Minaj is the toast of hip hop, and now even the pop world as Rolling Stone has given her the title of the "Queen Of Hip Hop" in it's upcoming issue Nicki deserves all the credit she's getting right now. Her debut album 'Pink Friday' is expected to sell over 400,000 units its first week out. She's gotten co-signs from almost every major rapper out there from Joe Budden to Kanye West. But does she deserve the title of "queen" after only one album?. Let's look at some other female rappers who should also be considered for that title. You got looney a** Raz B, telling anybody who will listen about the gay activities that went down with the group. Now here comes Omarion daing the Bhangra. Before yall even start, I'm not dissing the style of music. What I'm wondering about is the move Omarion is performing, starting at the 0:57 mark. I read on Wikipedia that "the specific moves of Bhangra reflect the manner in which villagers farmed their land" in India. That doesn't look like it has anything to do with farming to me, O looks too damn happy. What yall think?

If today you tried to log in to one of your favorite sites that allowed the downloading of pirated movies, music, music videos or sold counterfeit goods, chances are it's gone. The Department of Justice, Homeland Security Investigations and National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center have been quite busy the last couple of days. Lots of hip hop fans were in shock when they signed on to RapGodfathers,com and OnSmash yesterday, only to find the sites had been seized by ICE. But those seizures were just tip of the iceberg. Dozens of other domains have fallen victim in the U.S. Government's latest attempt to shut down rampant piracy and bootlegging that is costing the record industry, movie companies and clothing manufacturers billions of dollars annually. As you would expect, lots of domain owners were caught completely off guard. “My domain has been seized without any previous complaint or notice from any court!” the owner of Torrent-Finder told TorrentFreak. “I firstly had DNS downtime. While I was contacting GoDaddy I noticed the DNS had changed. Godaddy had no idea what was going on and until now they do not understand the situation and they say it was totally from ICANN." Cori W. Baqssett, a spokewoman for Ice confirmed the seizures in a statement to the New York Times. “ICE office of Homeland Security Investigations executed court-ordered seizure warrants against a number of domain names. As this is an ongoing investigation, there are no additional details available at this time," she said. Christina Milian Cashes In To The Tune Of $4 Miilion Dollars In Her Divorce Settlement From The-Dream

Christina Milian has millions of reasons to smile today. The L.A. Times is reporting the singer got nice chunk of change in her divorce settlement from The-Dream. Dream has to cough up a limp sum of $4 million plus $5,000 a month in child support. Not a bad payday for a marriage that didn't even last a year. The pair were married in September 2009, but by July 2010, The-Dream was photographed all boo-boo up with his assistant. In exchange for the settlement and continued support, Milian has reportedly signed a strict non disclosure agreement. So there won't be any books or talks dishing dirt on her ex.

Jay-Z Speaks About Shooting His Own Brother When He Was 12 Years Old "I Thought My Life Was Over"

"Where my ring? Knew you had it cause you took too long as Micky, Annie and the girl who bought it looked on. Huffing and puffing, gun in my hand told you to step outside. Hoping you said no, but you hurt my pride. Made our way down the steps, maybe you thought it was just a threat. Or maybe your life was just that crazy and you was begging for death. Tried to justify this in my young mind, but the adrenaline and my ego hurt combined drove me berserk. Saw the devil in your eyes, high off more than weed, confused, I just closed my young eyes and squeezed. What a sound, opened my eyes just in time to see you stumbling to the ground. Damn, what I done now?" Jay-Z "You Must Love Me" I remember the the first time I heard Jay-Z's song "You Must Love Me." A joint that describes several incidents he was involved in as a youth, that he later came to regret. Acts Such as selling crack to his own mother, using a young girl as a mule to carry cocaine (she gets popped by the police), and shooting his own brother. I often wondered if any of it was true or just typical rap boasting from Hov, trying to add "realness" to the song. In an interview with the UK Guardian, Jay-Z admits at least one of the scenarios is %100 fact. At the age of 12, he shot his crack addicted older brother over a stolen ring. "I thought my life was over. I thought I'd go to jail for ever." Hov said "It was terrible. I was a boy, a child. I was terrified." Luckily the bullet hit his brother in the shoulder and wasn't a life threatening wound. When Hov visited him in the hospital, his brother apologized for stealing the ring and didn't press charges against him. In the interview Jay goes on to describe how prevalent guns were at that time in his neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. A problem that has only gotten worse in every hood across America. "Guns were everywhere. You didn't have to go far to get one. Just everywhere," he said. "Guns were around every day. There were shootouts, but I never shot anyone else. Most people in shootouts don't get shot." Jigga claims he was shot at three times, but never hit. "It's like there was some rogue angel watching over us," he said.
