(Fox News) -- Actor Omari Hardwick felt the wrath of Beyoncé’s fans Sunday after footage of him kissing the superstar singer twice on her cheek was called out as inappropriate.
A video posted online shows the “Power” actor greeting Beyoncé at the 50th NAACP Image Awards this past weekend.
When Hardwick embraces the singer, who took home the Entertainer of the Year award, he kisses her on the right cheek and gives her a hug. He then kisses her on the cheek a second time.
Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z was just feet away.
The encounter quickly drew the ire of fans who argued that it demonstrated the ways in which women find themselves in uncomfortable situations with men.
"2nd kiss was unnecessary & uncomfortable. Don't do that again," tweeted user @farhana_io. "We women so often get touched, kissed, groped & poked in instances exactly like this (at an event, at work, etc). WE DON'T LIKE IT. It's time to no longer let these moments of discomfort slide."
Other fans flooded Hardwick’s Instagram page with bee emoji’s, signifying Beyonce’s superlative title “Queen Bey,” according to E! News.
This is why the #metoo movement is important,” one Instagram user wrote. “No matter how famous and powerful a woman is, there will always be some … inappropriate man who feels like he has the right to take your manner and generosity as an invitation to make you uncomfortable. You disrespected your wife, your children, Beyoncé and Jay Z and need to apologize.”
A representative for Hardwick could not be reached for comment, E! reported. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have not publicly commented on the encounter.
Report via NBC News - LOS ANGELES — The Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed in a shooting outside his clothing store in Los Angeles, multiple law enforcement sources said. Two other men were in serious condition, and a suspect remained at large.
No further information was immediately available about the shooting at Marathon Clothing on Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles. But just a couple of hours before the shooting, Hussle, 33, whose real name was Ermias Ashgedom, had tweeted, "Having strong enemies is a blessing."
Hussle's debut studio album, "Victory Lap" was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year's Grammy Awards.
Hussle had long been associated with the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, one of Los Angeles' largest street gangs, which he publicly acknowledged in a 2010 interview with Complex magazine.
Report via TMZ - Nipsey Hussle was just shot in LA ... TMZ has learned.
Multiple sources tell us the rapper was gunned down Sunday in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, south of the Crenshaw area. We're told he was at his clothing store called the Marathon Clothing Company. He opened the place back in 2017.
His condition is unknown at this point. Eyewitnesses in the area say they heard multiple shots fired.
Even crazier ... Nipsey appears to have tweeted right before the shooting, and alluded to "enemies." He wrote, "Having strong enemies is a blessing."
Nipsey -- who's from the Crenshaw area of LA -- is said to have ties to the Crips. That hasn't stopped him from working with artists who have rival gang affiliations ... he's made music with both YG and The Game -- both of whom have been tied to Bloods.
He's released multiple mixtapes over the course of his 10-plus year career but just dropped his first studio album last year. It's called "Victory Lap" ... which got him a Grammy nod for Best Rap Album just a month ago. Nipsey lost out to Cardi B at the award show.
Despite being a polished rapper, Nipsey was no stranger to the streets. He got roped into a brawl out in West Hollywood back in December of 2018 ... which turned out to be a case of mistaken identity.
**UPDATE** Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 3 people were shot at Nipsey's store, and one of those people just died at the hospital. It's unclear if that person is Nipsey. We're being told that one man fled in a vehicle after the shooting.

Report Via NBC Bay Area - Body camera video released by the Vallejo Police Department on Friday shows the moments that led up to the shooting of 20-year-old Willie McCoy.
The rapper known as "Willie Bo" was found asleep in a car Feb. 9 at a Taco Bell drive-thru. Police said he also had a gun on his lap. The deadly shooting gained national headlines and sparked legal action against Vallejo police.
"Our hope is that this information helps members of the public separate fact from fiction regarding this investigation," the Vallejo Police Department said in a statement.
Oakland attorney Melissa Nold, who said she examined the body of McCoy, told NBC News that he also sustained injuries to his shoulders, chest and arm, during the encounter with six officers. Nold said McCoy was hit about 25 times in the shooting.
Civil rights attorney John Burris, who filed the lawsuit against Vallejo police, previously demanded the department release body-worn camera footage from the shooting.
Burris has said McCoy was shot after he was startled awake and that police "did not even try to safely retrieve Mr. McCoy from the car through the open passenger window while he was asleep, after telling the public that Mr. McCoy's car was locked."

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Friday threatened to close America’s southern border or large sections of it next week, a potentially drastic step affecting the economies of both the U.S. and Mexico, if Mexico does not halt illegal immigration “immediately.”
“It could mean all trade” with Mexico,” Trump said when questioned by reporters in Florida. “We will close it for a long time. I am not kidding around.”
Trump has previously threatened to close the border — including at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Thursday night — but this time was different as he gave a timetable. The White House did not immediately respond to questions about whether his possible action would apply to commercial and air travel, but a substantial closure could have an especially heavy impact on cross-border communities from San Diego to South Texas, as well as supermarkets, factories, and other businesses across the country that rely on trade from Mexico.
“If Mexico doesn’t immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States through our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING the Border, or large sections of the Border, next week,” Trump said in a tweet. “This would be so easy for Mexico to do, but they just take our money and ‘talk.’”
Trump’s declaration came a day after Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said his country was doing its part to fight migrant smuggling. Criminal networks charge thousands of dollars a person to move migrants through Mexico, increasingly toward remote sections of the U.S.-Mexico border in large groups.
“We are going to do everything we can to help,” Lopez Obrador said. “We don’t in any way want a confrontation with the U.S. government.”
A senior Homeland Security official on Friday suggested Trump was referring to the ongoing surge of mostly Central American families crossing the border from Mexico. Many people who cross the border illegally ultimately request asylum under U.S. law, which does not require asylum seekers to enter at an official crossing.
The official said the U.S. might close designated ports of entry to re-deploy staff to help process parents and children.
Ports of entry are official crossing points that are used by residents and commercial vehicles. The official, who spoke to reporters on condition of anonymity, did not specify which ports the administration was considering closing, but said only that closures were “on the table.”
Customs and Border Protection commissioner Kevin McAleenan said Wednesday that 750 border inspectors would be reassigned to deal with the growing number of migrant families, and the DHS official said Friday that the department was seeking volunteers from other agencies to help.
Democratic and Republican lawmakers have fought over whether there actually is a “crisis” at the border, particularly amid Trump’s push for a border wall, which he claims will solve immigration problems, though a wall wouldn’t keep out families who cross the border at official points so they can surrender and be detained.
The president called on Congress to immediately change what he said were weak U.S. immigration laws, which he blamed on Democrats. The Department of Homeland Security wants the authority to detain families for longer and more quickly deport children from Central America who arrive at the border on their own. The department argues those policy changes would stop families from trying to enter the U.S.
