STOCKTON (CBS13) — A woman is accused of kidnapping and torturing her ex-girlfriend for weeks in her Stockton home.

Dorothy Bell was charged with 39 counts Wednesday afternoon including kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon. According to the complaint, Bell is accused of using a knife, hammer, golf club and firearm to assault her victim. The complaint explains that she tortured her ex-girlfriend, “with the intent to cause cruel and extreme pain and suffering for the purpose of revenge, extortion, persuasion and for a sadistic purpose.”

The victim was found naked with her arms bound behind her back last Friday on a front porch in Stockton.

A crisis negotiation team was called to the house in an effort to get Bell out, officials said, but she escaped to a neighboring home with three people inside in the area of River Ridge Avenue and Henry Long Boulevard.

The homeowner who did not want to be identified said at first he thought his grandmother let the woman in.

“’Grandma, why you let this lady come in?’ and my grandma was quiet, tried to give me a signal like somebody is behind you. ‘Why you let this lady in here?’ and I see her (Bell) with the knife,” he explained.

The man tells CBS13 that Bell threatened his family and held a knife to his son’s neck.

“She said help me, help me, she asked for help,” he explained. “If I don’t help her she is going to come after my family, kill me.”

The homeowner said Bell made a phone call to a friend and told them to come after the man’s family if he did not comply. Bell eventually let the man’s daughter, son, and grandmother go. The homeowner said he spent an hour with Bell and had to fight to get away from her.

“I tried to protect myself because she grabbed the knife, right. And then I try to grab the knife from her and pull her out,” he explained. “She tried to get away from me and then she tried to bite me, bite my hand and start fighting.”

The man said she eventually ran back inside the house. She remained in the neighbor’s home during a standoff with police until around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Bell’s bail is set at $4 million and she is due back in court on December 30.

According to the district attorney’s office, Bell was arrested in September on similar charges after police say she abused and held her ex-wife against her will.

BOSTON (AP) — The rapper G Herbo, his promoter and others have been charged in a scheme to use stolen credit card information to pay for trips on private jets, exotic car rentals, luxury vacation rentals and designer puppies.

G Herbo, who was named this week to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list; Antonio Strong, a Chicago music promoter and manager; and several associates were charged in federal court in Massachusetts with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and identity theft.

Strong, whom a judge called the ringleader of the $1.5 million fraud scheme, also faces a wire fraud charge.

Others charged include Joseph Williams — another Chicago rapper known as “Joe Rodeo” and “Rockstar Rodie.”

Court documents were unsealed this week, less than a month after G Herbo, whose real name is Herbert Wright III, appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon to perform the song “PTSD” with Chance the Rapper.

Authorities say Strong, G Herbo and the others used text messages, social media messages and emails to share account information taken from dark websites in order to bankroll a lavish lifestyle.

In one case, Strong ordered two designer puppies for G Herbo using a stolen credit card and fake Washington state driver’s license, according to the indictment.

When the Michigan pet shop asked to confirm the purchase with G Herbo, Strong directed him to do so through an Instagram message, and he did, authorities said. The stolen credit card information was then used to arrange for a car service to pick up the puppies from the pet shop and take them to Chicago, according to the indictment.

Strong also used stolen account information to pay for chartered jets to fly G Herbo and others from Chicago to places like Austin, Texas, and a private villa in Jamaica for G Herbo, authorities said. The scheme also included fraudulent payments for commercial airline flights, private chef and security guard services and and limousine rides, authorities said.

George Foreman was so impressed with Mike Tyson's performance against Roy Jones Jr. -- he thinks the 54-year-old could still make a serious run at a heavyweight title RIGHT NOW.

Yes, he's dead serious.

"If he gets 3 more exhibitions like that, at that level, I would even back him in challenging any title contender, even a champion," Foreman told TMZ Sports.

"If the right situation arrived, Mike Tyson could be in for a good title shot ... and [with 3 more] of these exhibitions, he can beat some of these guys who can be champion out there."

In fact, Foreman says he'd pick Tyson to beat guys like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder ... under the right circumstances.

"If you go 8 two-minute rounds, I'd back Tyson," Foreman said ... "10 two-minute rounds, I'd back Tyson!"

Foreman said he didn't expect to feel so charged up about Tyson -- but he says his feelings are genuine, he was extremely impressed.

"I was on the edge of my seat," Foreman says ... "I did exhibitions with Sonny Liston, I've seen [Muhammad Ali] do exhibitions, but I've never seen one that exciting, never."

Brooklyn-based rapper Casanova surrendered himself to authorities Wednesday night after he was named in a sweeping indictment of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” gang earlier this week.

Casanova, who given name is Caswell Senior, 34, faces racketeering conspiracy, firearm possession, and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances as part of an indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court Tuesday. The other 17 suspects in the indictment were already in custody.

He surrendered himself at the Midtown South precinct in Manhattan, police said.

The Bloods faction has been tied to shootings and robberies in Westchester County and Brooklyn, and one of its alleged members, Brandon (Stacks) Soto, is accused of driving an accomplice to Poughkeepsie to assassinate a 15-year-old boy on Sept. 21.

The Poughkeepsie Journal identifies the teen as Jalani Jones, who was fatally shot in the head.

Two suspects are accused of using other people’s IDs to file fraudulent applications for COVID-19-related unemployment benefits.

“Members of Gorilla Stone committed terrible acts of violence, trafficked in narcotics, and even engaged in brazen fraud by exploiting benefits programs meant to provide assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said acting U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss.

Casanova, whose track “Set Trippin” includes the lyrics “Punch you in the face muthaf----- I knock ya teeth out. Every time I come through n----- I got my heat out, ” still faces charges in a 2018 assault in Brooklyn.

He’s accused of punching and robbing a young woman who was recording him at a Greenwich Village diner.

If he’s convicted of the top charge against him, racketeering conspiracy, Casanova could face up to life in prison.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — A prominent law enforcement training group is promoting a lengthy research document riddled with falsehoods and conspiracies that urges local police to treat Black Lives Matter activists as terrorists plotting a violent revolution.

The document distributed by the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association contains misinformation and inflammatory rhetoric that could incite officers against protesters and people of color, critics said. It alleges Black Lives Matter and antifa, an umbrella term for leftist militants, are “revolutionary movements whose aims are to overthrow the U.S. government” and claims they are planning “extreme violence.”

Phillip Atiba Goff, a Yale University professor who is an expert on racial bias in policing, called the document dangerous, noting that the association is an important source of training materials for many small and midsize departments across the country.

“It’s stunning. It’s distressing in many ways. It’s untethered to reality,” said Goff, CEO of the Center for Policing Equity. “I worry that it leads to people dying unnecessarily.”

The association in October sent a link to the 176-page paper, “Understanding Antifa and Urban Guerrilla Warfare,” in an email news update to its thousands of members. The document, labeled “restricted to law enforcement only,” is one of the few publicly available materials on its website. The Associated Press learned of the document from one of the policing organization’s members.

The group’s executive director, Harvey Hedden, defended the document, which he called one member’s opinion and open for critique and debate. He said the association supports the exchange of ideas and strategies to improve criminal justice training but does not endorse specific approaches.

Hedden argued that fact-checking the paper or restricting its distribution would amount to censorship and that its publication would allow for peer review by other trainers.

“There will always be differences of opinion on training issues but so long as the disagreements remain professional and not personal we do not censor these ideas,” he said. “I am willing to allow the trainer to evaluate the information themselves.”

He added, “Just like law enforcement, I am afraid BLM has earned some of these criticisms and others might be overgeneralizations.”

The Black Lives Matter movement emerged in 2013 after the acquittal of the Florida man who fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, and exploded in size and influence earlier this year after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody. Protests across the nation were largely peaceful but occasionally marked by clashes with police or the destruction of property. Since then, many activists have been working to reduce the scope and cost of local police departments and overhaul police training.

Boxing's Jarrell Miller has been suspended for performance-enhancing drug use. Again.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) voted unanimously Wednesday to ban Miller, the heavyweight once tied to a big title fight against Anthony Joshua, for two years due to a positive drug test for the banned substance GW501516. Miller can get a six-month reduction to that suspension if he completes a performance-enhancing drug treatment program, as well as a random drug-testing program administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) at cost to the fighter.

Miller, 32, was scheduled to fight Jerry Forrest on July 9, 2020 in Las Vegas, but failed an out-of-competition drug test leading into that bout and was forced to withdraw.

In June 2019, Miller was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua for Joshua's WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles at Madison Square Garden. In advance of that fight, Miller tested positive for GW501516, a metabolic performance-enhancer, which caused the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) to deny him a license. Miller tested positive for banned substances erythropoietin (EPO) and human-growth hormone (HGH) in a subsequent test. The WBA suspended Miller six months.

In an interview last June with Fight Network, Miller said he has never taken "a steroid for performance-enhancing purposes," but has used drugs to heal injuries.

"Did I take something for healing properties, for injuries?" Miller said. "Yes, I have. But to win a fight and during a training camp? No, I have never done that.

"Nobody can be more outraged than me. I'm the one that's lost millions of dollars. I'm the one that's had his career on the line."

Miller (23-0-1) has 20 knockouts in 23 pro victories. The Brooklyn native has not fought since a 2018 win over Bogdan Dinu to claim the WBA-NABA interim and WBO-NABO heavyweight titles.

OCKLAWAHA, Fla. — A woman from Silver Springs has been charged with murder after she shot and killed a man on Saturday, according to deputies.

The victim, Michael Hofacker, 39, was walking with a woman in the 3200 block of S Highway 314A when a vehicle pulled up alongside them, deputies say. Hofacker walked up to the car to see why they stopped.

Jennifer Hill, 41, who was inside the vehicle, asked Hofacker his name, deputies say. Hofacker responded, "Mikey."

Hill then took out a pistol and shot the man in the face, according to deputies. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Deputies from Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrived to the scene where eye witnesses said they had seen Hill shoot the victim.

Hill admitted to the shooting; however, she says she thought the victim was a man named Michael Beach, who she accused of breaking into her home and threatening her.

Hill was arrested and charged with second-degree murder without premeditation. She is being held at the Marion County Jail without bond.

Video After The Jump

In this clip, Mike Tyson started out by imagining how his life would be different if his first trainer, Cus D'Amato, lived longer. Tyson explained that Cus wanted to capitalize on a big fighter, which Mike was becoming, and he thinks Cus would've gotten him a lot more endorsements. Moving along, Mike spoke about becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history in his 1986 fight against Trevor Berbick. Tyson admitted that he wanted to "kill" Berbick for hurting Ali in a previous fight, and he went on to speak about not being surprised about Berbick being killed by his nephew.
