The homie Joe La Puma from Complex Mag sat down with 50 yesterday to ask him questions regarding the album, Dre, Diddy or Jay-Z...Complex: Is there tension between you and Dre?50 Cent: There’s no tension. There will never be a beef between 50 Cent and Dre. And it’s not based on 50 and Dre’s relationship, it’s based on Eminem and Dre’s relationship. My relationship with Em is what Em’s relationship is to Dre. If I was to say something disrespectful to Dre, it would effect Em and I value that relationship too much. So I won’t say anything, I’ll never say anything negative about Dre.Complex: Does it bother you that it can take Dre so long to mix your records?50 Cent: Oh no, that’s just him as a producer. He takes his time. He loses interest in shit. I don’t care how great you are. He’s great, but he loses interest in himself at points. So the making of the record at this point is motivation. He’ll tell you himself that that’s what he feels.Complex: How do you feel about him working with Game?50 Cent: I don’t care. It’s better that you shut up sometimes than for you to actually express your judgments when you’re close to home.Complex: Shifting gears, in your VH1 Behind The Music episode, there was a part that talked about Diddy taking a meeting with you, and him getting shook because you brought a gun to the office…50 Cent: This is what happened. Jennifer Lopez told Puffy that I was a great writer because Corey Rooney signed me to Columbia Records. Jennifer had been exposed to my material, so she told Puff she thinks I’m somebody he should work with. I came down to write and I was in there writing a couple of joints and Puff left the actual room. There was rustling and rambling at the door and shit like that. I jumped up—when you get hurt as bad as I got hurt, either your fear consumes you or you become insensitive. So I jumped up and figured “as you come through the door, I’ll shoot your ass down right there in the door.” The paranoia heightens your senses. You start to see every little detail, every little thing. You don’t want to miss anything and have it turn out there’s someone shooting you again. When I heard the rambling outside, I jumped up, I had a Mac-10 on me. Pulled the joint out and Puff came in and looked, said, “Oh shit, I can’t do this.”As a matter fact, it was Shyne and Wolf, wrestling outside. Puff was going through that actual case when he called me in to write and I’m in his office with a Mac-10. He was like, “I can’t do that.” After the fact, I looked at it and was like, That’s a legitimate call.Complex: Getting back to Jay-Z, who ended up #1 on the list. Much has been made of his recent comment that “no one is afraid of 50 Cent.” Regardless, it seems like the general public agrees that Kanye wouldn’t have pulled that stunt if you were on stage instead of Taylor Swift…50 Cent: He wouldn’t. You can’t convince the public, you can’t convince Kanye to say he would’ve did that. If I was there and he did that to me we would have had an altercation. Right there. It’s clear. He [Kanye] would have avoided that, just being intelligent. The interviewer who asked [Jay-Z] about the Kanye situation made him feel like a punk. His presentation is really simple and you can’t have both. You can’t be gangster Jay from Marcy and be the good guy Jay-Z on Oprah. You just can’t. They don’t let you in. That’s Mr. Knowles, he just got that pass. There ain’t any tickets to an inauguration ball with niggas. If you’re from the hood, you have that element or that aura around you, there’s no tickets for you. It’s “safe” people there. This is why those things are happening. This is why he has to convince the person that he’s talking to he’s not afraid of anyone.Complex: Were you surprised that Fat Joe only sold that many his first week?50 Cent: Well, I have 8,000 friends. So that’s extremely low.Complex: It’s very low…50 Cent: Watch this. Want a prediction from me? ...Read the rest of the interview with 50 Cent on Complex Mag.com

MYFOXDC Reports Videos After The Jump WASHINGTON, D.C. - An Ashburn, Virginia woman is in the fight of her life after suffering a very rare side effect to the seasonal flu shot. The vast majority of doctors say flu shots are safe. In this case, the FDA says they found nothing wrong with this particular batch, but sometimes there are complications. That's apparently what happened to Desiree Jennings, and now her life will never be the same. At 26 years old, Desiree Jennings was the picture of health. She's a Washington Redskins cheerleader and an avid runner. Her life changed forever on August 23 when she says she got a seasonal flu shot at a local grocery store. "I was training for a half marathon then," said Jennings, crying. "It just all went so fast." Ten days after receiving the shot, she came down with the flu. After that, her health spiraled downwards. She started passing out and had to be hospitalized twice. "We went to an urgent care place and they wouldn't even let her get out of my truck because she was seizing in the back so bad, so they called an ambulance immediately," says her husband, Brendan Jennings. Doctors at Fairfax Inova and Johns Hopkins diagnosed her with a rare neurological disorder called dystonia. They think it was caused by a severe reaction to the flu shot. Desiree now has difficulty speaking, walking, and even eating. During an interview with FOX 5, she had several seizures. The effects are irreversible. "The symptoms will get worse if I use my voice or walk when the brain signals are misfiring," says Jennings. Desiree reported her health problems to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) thinking there might have been something wrong with her vaccine. We also contacted the FDA and we were told they found no problems with the particular lot of flu vaccines that Desiree received, and the agency has not received any other reports of adverse effects from this lot. Health experts stress that overall, extreme side effects are rare. "The flu shot is safe for the majority of the public, and as I said before, your heart goes out to someone that experiences this sort of thing-- thinking that they are doing something great for their wellness and their general health, but it does happen in extremely rare cases," says Rachel Lynch with Fairfax Inove Health System. For Desiree, she just happened to be one of those rare cases. "I just don't want this to happen to anyone else," says Jennings. Desiree and her husband plan to visit the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in November. They're hoping to get more answers about this disease and how they live with it. Desiree has received flu shots before in 2007 and 2008.

Rapper Shyne Being Deported To Belize

SixShot.com Reports Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne's immigration issues just got more complicated as he will be deported back to his home country of Belize. According to New York radio personality Miss Info, the rapper will have to battle his way back into the U.S. from the Central American country. "Shyne's team is fighting to stay in the U.S. where his mother and his grandmother live and where they raised him," said Miss Info. "But it seems like he's going to have to continue the fight from Belize. Shyne will be released from Immigration custody but will then be deported to Belize soon. He has Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree advocating on his behalf in concert with his legal team. They're still urging fans to reach out to Governor Patterson's office to petition for Shyne's pardon, but deportation is imminent." As previously reported, Shyne's father, Belizean Prime Minister Dean Barrow petitioned New York State Governor David Patterson to pardon his son from deportation. The request was later transferred into Ogletree's hands. "All the lawyers who were dealing with his immigration problems, they are totally off the case now," said Shyne's uncle, Michael Finnegan. "He [OgletreeRONG>] has stepped in totally, he was given permission to deal with the situation in all its aspect," he said. "[Shyne's] father is one of the best attorneys in this country and I would want to believe he has total confidence in Ogletree, and I believe the family knows what it is doing." The 30-year-old, who moved to Brooklyn as a teen, gained popularity after signing to Bad Boy Records. In 2001 he was sentenced to 10-years in prison following a nightclub assault involving Sean "Diddy" Combs and then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. Upon hearing the news of his release Diddy noted that he had reached out to his former artist. Shyne later debunked those statements revealing that Diddy never contacted him.

HipHopWired Reports “Even as a man I felt like it should steal on him right now, I'm just going to steal on him and I don't care what happens. I'm bout to PUNCH him.” It's hard for certain fans to see images of an icon shattered when news begins to stir about their actual self behind closed doors. The camera's puts on an image that creates a hero, but in the end, they are human beings that are just like any other person on this earth. As news of infidelity and a marriage falling apart, the legend of basketball star Michael Jordan seemed to be showing some cracks as it was hard to accept that Your Mighty Airness, yea the one that was in Space Jam, was capable of doing wrong to anyone. While at a Michael Jordan party, rapper Chamillionaire dealt with the ultimate disrespect that a man can give to another man. Shouting out to his Vlog, he gave his personal account of what went down from something as simple as trying to get a picture with Jordan. “Aw hell nah, I ain't taking no pictures with no niggas.” Stating that he expected a response like that, maybe not as harsh, he further went in how he had been at a Reggie Bush event where he was part of an auction and paid $7,000 for a Michael Jordan jersey. According to Chamillionaire, Jordan didn't seem to care and gave another harsh response. “You know what, I'll tell you what? You pay $15,000 right now for a jersey from me and I'll take a picture with you.” According to the rapper, he didn't come off to the basketball star in any harsh way, but that was the way he was received. Although he had heard tales of Jordan being a mean guy, to say it nicely, he chose not to believe until he had to experience it firsthand. The rapper's world must have started spinning for two reasons. One, as a man, it's pretty hard to deal with someone coming at them in such a manner without feeling the need to lash out. Pride is a helluva thing. “Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, those were the biggest icons I ever had…Michael was just a big disappointment.” Secondly, as a fan, no person can describe how it feels to have such an event take place and be the fault of someone that they looked up to, but athletics and music starts truly have two faces. Well, when all else fails just remember the fact that Jordan was a victim of broken ankles when he decided to come back and was toppled by Allen Iverson. That's reality for you.

MTV Reports:50 Cent has often criticized the rap game for being a little too soft lately. He's openly asked, where's the aggressive content? He's also pointed out how few hit hip-hop songs from the past couple of years don't have an R&B singer on the hook. Through mixtapes such as the War Angel LP, he's served up lethal doses of hardcore rap, so it was a little surprising to see him team with R&B singer Ne-Yo on his new single "Baby by Me," for which the two shot a video last weekend.50 said that just because he's got a song with a crooning chorus doesn't mean he's abandoned a street edge for his upcoming Before I Self Destruct LP."Not particularly this song, but the entire project ... I meant for it to be a little harder and what I fell in love with about hip-hop and within hip-hop," Fif said on the song's video set Saturday. "I accomplished it. Before I Self Destruct is absolutely harder than Get Rich or Die Tryin' or other projects in between. The Massacre had some real aggressive content on it, but there were other things I wanted to do, like 'Ryder Music,' 'Baltimore Love Thing,' 'Build You Up,' featuring Jamie Foxx. This project [Before I Self Destruct], I kept all of those things out of it. I just made it what I wanted it to be. This album is my album right now. It's like the prequel to Get Rich — the things I missed on that project."Before I Self Destruct is slated for a November 23 release.

Video After The Jump Kanye West premiered his short film 'We Were Once A Fairytale' this past weekend, on his blog. Then suddenly removed it yesterday without an explanation. The film, directed by Spike Jonez shows Kanye drunk to point of making a fool of himself. Hitting on various women who are turned off by his behavior. Then it takes a bizarre turn that is sure to have people scratching their heads, but that's obviously what it is designed to do. My question is, what the hell is Kanye trying to tell us ?

Weezy Talks Life After Rap

hiphopwired.com“I always said I don't wanna do this anymore after 35…Anytime between 30 and 35, I might give it up.”The rap game is like sports in the idea that people enjoy playing in the game, but each player mentally has established a time in which they know it will be time to hang everything up and pursue something else. While on tour, rapper Lil Wayne took some time out with Tim Westwood to speak on what will happen once he is no longer rapping and his post-retirement plans.“I'm gonna retire in this and jump into some kind of ownership of a sports team. I'm very heavily into sports, any sport…It doesn't matter it could be basketball or football, it wouldn't matter. I could buy into a baseball team with someone. Those that know Weezy know that outside of the music, he is a sports junky. At the top of the year, the rapper found himself up against Skip Bayles on the “1st and 10” segment of ESPN First Take. He was also on the stations program Around The Horn where he was able to beat out the likes of Woody Paige and Michael Smith to win the episode.Sports might just fit nicely with the New Orleans native.Standing at number 2, right below his rap role model Jay-Z, Weezy has been on speed as he has continued to be on the move and expanding his musical audiences. From breaking out into rock to further developing his Young Money label and artists, one would think that the gas tank would be starting to come real close to E and that Wayne was beginning to hit his peak. For all those that believe that the rapper eater has finally hit his peak, he gives a subtle response.“Nowhere near it. If you ever say that you have reached your peak, the only way you can go is down. So no, I have not hit it at all. I haven't even dropped Rebirth, you haven't even heard Carter IV.”As the rock album has been seen setback from push-backs, it has been hard to stay updated with Wayne on the music side of things. For those waiting for the new album, the reported release date for the upcoming No Ceilings mixtape is scheduled for Halloween.Even though Dedication 3 happened to go the retail route, Wayne assures his fans that this is not meant for purchase so save your dollars.“If you pay for any mixtape of mine, you were jacked.”

MTV Reports In New York City, Olivia Wilde was raised; on the playground was where she spent most of her days. And when the "House" beauty stopped by MTV for a candid chat, she admitted that once upon a time all she wanted to be was the Fresh Prince. Chillin' in the newsroom, relaxing all cool, she told us a story from when she was still in school. "I was really into hip-hop, and I was really passionate about it," she laughed, remembering her career aspirations at age 8. "I really wanted to [be a rapper]! I was pretty serious. And to my parents' credit, they were so supportive. "Their only condition was that I take it seriously," remembered the 25-year-old actress. "If I wanted to be a rapper, I had to start performing. And so they said, 'OK, we're going to get the family and friends together, and you're going to perform for everyone.' And my performance tended to always be 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' opening song." Insert the scratched-record sound effect here. Say what? "Yes, I would perform that for the entire family," she laughed, remembering the opening song to Will Smith's '90s sitcom. "Along with my own personal beat-boxing." Pressed to give us a 2009 remix of her classic performance, unfortunately Wilde got a bit hesitant. "That is so not going to happen," she blushed. "It's so much more entertaining when it's an 8-year-old girl than me." Be sure to check out the rest of Wilde's MTV Rough Cut for more startling revelations from the rising star — who will return to the big screen next year in the feverishly anticipated sequel, "Tron Legacy." Just don't expect her to be belting out any showtunes on her Lightbike. "I cannot sing," Wilde insisted, reminding us of the old idiom that those who cannot do, learn percussion. "I play the drums. "We actually like to jam in our house in L.A. We have our instruments set up, and my husband is a really, really fantastic guitarist," Wilde said of her filmmaker/ flamenco-guitarist hubby, Tao Ruspoli, the only person who gets family performances these days. "So, we jam. We're like our own White Stripes — but different.

MTV Reports Ever since their careers exploded around last year at this time, it's rare to see "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doing anything other than slaving away on the sets of "New Moon" and the next sequel, "Eclipse." Now, Timbaland wants to give the sexy duo a chance to let their hair down on his next music video — and if anybody can make it happen, it's the Grammy-winning producer and rapper. "I want certain people in the video," he revealed to us over the weekend at Justin Timberlake's charity concert, talking about "Morning After Dark," the first single off his upcoming album Shock Value 2, and featuring the new artist SoShy. "I want the same characters of 'Twilight,' which I've almost got." Timbaland has spoken to us before about how Shock Value 2 was influenced by the world of Stephenie Meyer, and that "Morning After Dark" seizes on some of the darker themes in her world. Now he says he's on the verge of getting Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and possibly other "Twilight" stars to appear in the video. "If I get Bella and Edward, it would be [ideal]," he explained. "I'm gonna give a twist to it, though." Timbaland's twist would involve embracing the dark side of the vampire world while casting himself and friends in key roles, which he hopes will meld Forks with the aesthetic of Kate Beckinsale's hit vampire series. "It would be almost, kind of like, 'Underworld,' " he explained. "Kind of like that movie, you won't know what we are. You don't know if we're vampires, but we are something. You know what I'm saying?" Combining the what-are-they mysteries of the "Underworld" franchise with the romantic drama of "Twilight," Timbaland is convinced that RPattz and KStew could bring his music video the right tone. In his possible story line spun off from "New Moon," Timbaland and SoShy would appear as vampires offering Edward piece of mind as he flees for Italy. "We would protect her while he goes away from the other dude (Jacob) and the other people (the Cullens)," he said, comparing the plot to developments we'll see in "New Moon" next month. "We was his last hope, he wouldn't want to use us, the whole thing. If [Edward] calls us it would be a big payback — a big price to pay to call my team of people to protect her. It's a whole little story line." "And I have part two to the single too," Timbaland revealed, saying he'd hope to continue the plot in another video. "So it's like a whole little story line to it." But for all those Twilighters out there who might be thinking about switching their three-letter exclamations from "OME!" to "WTF?" Timabaland says don't worry — he's a fanpire too. "I've watched that movie and I watch 'True Blood' a lot — both of the seasons," he explained. "So I'm like, 'Man, this could be real ill,' because nobody's ever done nothing with music that assimilates this. So it will have to be dark. "It could be a little fun at the same time," he promised Robsten, hoping they'll want to join forces with him. "Still dark, but still fun."
