More Pics After The Jump

PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has gotten another celebrity to pose sans clothes for one of their ads.

This particular celebrity happens to be Brooke Hogan, the 23-year old daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.

The photo is already causing controversy. There have been strange rumors that Brooke and her father are involved in twisted relationship. Brooke got so fed up with the gossip and controversy she addressed it via Twitter.

For his part, the elder Hogan seems to be embarrassed by the whole thing. His daughter is a grown woman, but what dad wants to see their daughter half naked on posters everywhere?

Check the pics below and let us know what you think.

Video After The Jump

A couple of weeks ago Drake talked about how much he missed Nicki Minaj, since they both became stars. The two reunited, at least for a day Saturday (August 13) during Britney Spears' Femme Fatale tour stop in Toronto.

Minaj brought Drizzy out and treated him to a lap dance. The duo also performed "Moment For Life."

50 Cent has released tons of classic material on both studio albums and mixtapes. Everybody has a favorite. One album that stands out in my opinion is 'The Massacre.'

The cd gave you the perfect blend of radio friendly tunes like "Candy Shop" and "Just A Lil Bit." At the same time you had street tales like "Baltimore Love Thing," "This Is 50," and "Gunz Come Out."

The cd dropped in March 2005. In September of that same year a deluxe edition was released. Included with it was a dvd with all of the album's songs in video format. It's the first time that had ever been done, and it gave fans the rare chance to get visuals for songs they never would have.

The album was released several days early to prevent leakage, yet it still managed to sell 1.14 million copies the 1st week.

So which song/video was your favorite from the album?

Back in May, Osama bin Laden's ex-mistress Kola Boof, fired shots at Wale for not using black women in his videos. Yesterday (August 12) the rapper found himself in the middle of another twitter war with a woman as he and video vixen Rosa Acosta argued.

Apparently this all started while Rosa was hosting a Heineken Red Star Access event in Philadelphia. After she introduced Wale, the rapper had some issues getting through the crowd.

Rosa then tweeted :

@Wale went into the crowd and some security had to save him #CreativeIdeaFail #RedStarAccess,” she wrote.

For whatever reason that set Wale off. He later he attacked Acosta via Twitter. Check out the exchange below.

Video After The Jump

Ever since Slaughterhouse's signing to Eminem's Shady Records, the world has patiently waited for some new material from the foursome.

In a conversation with MTV's Sway, Royce Da 5'9 said that he Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Crooked I are hard at work on new material that could see the light of day by the end of the year.

"We're actually going to Atlanta on Thursday [August 11]," Royce said. "All the guys, we're all getting together and going in with some heavy-hitting producers. Hopefully, we'll have a single out by the end of the year, if not the album."

Royce declined to rap live, saying the internet has gotten so accessible that he didn't want to make Eminem mad by spitting lyrics from the Slaughterhouse, because those were the only one he had memorized. But Sway made it be known to any other rapper that shows on up RapFix they better be prepared to drop a few bars.

Peep the full interview below.

Audio After The Jump

Jennifer Hudson allowed herself to be sucked into a twitter beef with a fan on Thursday. It got really nasty between Hudson and a fan who accused the singer's husband David Otunga. of being gay and said Hudson is starving herself to achieve her new slim figure.

Hudson replied by threatening to put her hands on the fan.

"Watch what u say," Hudson wrote. "Cuz I might have to buy a plane/flight n come show u some of my southside then come back to where you're not!"

Yesterday, Hudson stopped by radio station WGCI to speaks about the twitter beef, rumors of her husband being gay and that she's used liposuction to lose weight.

Somewhere along the way people forgot that I am from Chicago but it’s not even that," Hudson the Morning Riot crew. "To me, when you know it’s me on there, because I sit and I talk to my fans all the time, so you know you're talking to me. And I feel as though don’t say nothing to me on Twitter that you're not gonna say in my face in person. Somewhere along the lines people think they can just talk to celebrities any kind of way, we're people too and just the same you want your respect, we want ours."

Hudson also denied ever having any plastic surgery.

"That’s another reason why I got frustrated is because I’m out here trying to put out a positive message, I know I’ve done this naturally and I don’t appreciate you undoing what I’ve done and trying to make it negative,’ Hudson said.

Check out the audio below where Jennifer addresses all drama below.

Video After The Jump

Shaquille O'Neal is a big mixed martial arts fan and has done some training in the sport.

Big Shaq was a recent guest on HDNetFights and named the top five NBA players he would like to get in the Octagon with.

The only current player Shaq said could possibly make the list is Ron Artest. Other than that he went all old school tough guys. Naming Danny Ainge, Xavier McDaniel, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone and Charles Oakley.

Big Shaq is 7'1, 340 plus pounds. Not too many people would want to scrap with him, but I would pay to see him and Karl Malone at it, lol.

More Pics After The Jump

As stupid as this looks, I have to admit it's a step up from owling and planking.

Horsemanning is the latest photo-posing craze to sweep the net.

"The objective of horsemanning is to make it appear that the photo’s subject has been beheaded; a head detached from a body like the Headless Horseman. Horsemanning requires two individuals, one laying with their head back and hidden and the other exposing only their head in the picture. If done correctly, horsemanning produces a brilliant optical illusion and allows for more creativity than other photo-posing fads like planking."

Check out some photos of this latest craze below.

They blame everything on rap music -- why not throw the eighties crack epidemic in there while they're at it?

VH1's new documentary 'Planet Rock: The Story Of Hip Hop And The Crack Generation' promises to tell the story of how hip-hop and crack became intertwined with the explosion of crack use during the early eighties.

Executive produced and narrated by ICE-T, 'Planet Rock' will also feature appearances from RZA, Snoop Dogg, B-Real, Azie Faison "Freeway" Ricky Ross and Raekwon.

Read The Full Press Release Below From VH1.

NEW YORK, NY –August 9, 2011- Twenty-five years after crack cocaine ravaged American cities, a new VH1 Rock Doc explores how the drug also transformed popular culture, especially hip-hop. The latest addition to the Emmy-winning franchise, Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation, premieres Sunday, September 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.

Narrated and executive produced by Ice-T, Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation, is the first documentary to focus specifically on the connections between crack and hip-hop. Based primarily on the first-person accounts of four famous dealers-turned-rappers, the film also widens its lens at points to show how crack changed America culturally, socially and politically. Using rare footage, photos, and animation, all set to the beats and rhymes of the iconic hip hop tracks of the day, the documentary explores how media hysteria, racism and political reaction produced policies and laws that have left us with the largest —and most disproportionately African-American— prison population in the world.

Crack first appeared in the early 1980s, but by 1986, it was raging through the inner cities of America like wildfire, leaving pain, grief, and death in its wake. With candid, never-before-seen interviews from survivors, including Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill’s B-Real, and the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Raekwon, Planet Rock examines the hardships young men encountered growing up in impoverished neighborhoods, which led many to deal crack cocaine as their only way out. This destructive drug not only provided an escape, but also paved the way for an entrance into hip-hop.

More than any other art form, hip-hop reflected and documented the crack epidemic. The chaos and madness of the crack phenomenon was fused with the sound and style of hip-hop during its formative years. From the gold dookie chain to Gucci, many hip-hop artists were influenced by the look and fashion of infamous dealers like Azie Faison in Harlem, who is prominently featured in the documentary, along with Freeway Ricky Ross, the Godfather of Crack in LA. As hip-hop became increasingly popular, the fascination with crime and gangster culture, specifically the violence inherent in crack culture, became ingrained in the music. And soon the very kids dealing crack were turning their street tales into hit records. After serving hard time in jail, Snoop Dogg became the biggest rapper of his day; after a bullet in the back nearly killed him, B Real went legit with Cypress Hill; and after crafting their business model on the crack hustle, RZA and Raekwon turned the Wu Tang Clan into a hip hop empire. As journalist Cheo Choker reflects, “it’s fascinating to think that Jay Z, a global icon who had better seats at President Obama’s inauguration than Jesse Jackson, was once a New York City crack dealer.”

Last month 50 Cent announced plans to feed 1 billion Africans in need over the next five years.

"I want to impact people's lives more," he wrote on Twitter at the time. "I've set a new goal for myself. I want to feed a billion people in Africa over the next five years."

Today we know exactly how 50 plans to make that lofty goal a reality.

The G-Unit boss has teamed with Chris Clarke, Founder and CEO of Pure Growth Partners, to develop an energy shot. Part of the proceeds from each shot sold will go towards feeding a child in need.

50 Cent and I share a common vision: to address the world’s problems through smart and sustainable business models,” Clarke said in a statement to BevIndustry.com. “With the rampant starvation in Africa and hunger afflicting children worldwide, we need socially responsible businesses that affect real change now more than ever. And Street King can set the bar for future generations to come.

Launching in September, the new Street King shot will range in prices from $2.49 to $2.99 and will be available in Orange Mango and Grape flavors.

The energy shot contains 100 percent natural flavors, no artificial colors and is made with a natural source of caffeine, which is derived from coffee beans, the company says. Each 2.5-ounce shot contains an amount of caffeine that is comparable to a cup of coffee, but contains zero carbohydrates, calories and sugar. Street King’s Grape variety also is fortified with vitamins and gingko biloba.

50 Cent said he's happy to be on board.

I’m inspired by [Clarke’s] vision and innovative approaches to tackling serious issues. It’s our mission with Street King to really change children’s lives around the world,” 50 said in a statement.

Video After The Jump

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is becoming a jack of all trades. Already considered to be one of the two best fighters in the world, Pacquiao is also Congressman in the Republic of the Philippines, and a budding singer.

Pacquiao's remake of Dan Hill‘s 1977 song "Sometimes When We Touch," has risen to no. 7 on the Secondary Adult Contemporary chart according to USA Today.

"Manny leaping from No. 11 to No. 7 on the Adult Contemporary secondary charts reminds us once more that there's nothing this man/boxer/congressman/singer is not capable of," said Hill. "I'm so proud to call him my friend and a major life inspiration."

Check out the song below and let us know what you think.
