Lil Kim got fans in the swing of things during her concert earlier today (August 17) in Australia, by performing a Michael Jackson tribute, right down to the glitter glove.
Kim is one of several U.S. artists including G-Unit, Mario and Fabolous, who are scheduled to play at the four day festival taking place at Challenge Stadium in Perth.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose don't try to hide the fact that they're in love with each other. They seem to be inseparable. Marriage appears to be the next logical step and Rose is ready for it.
She told Global Grind that the two will definitely be getting married and having kids sooner than later.
"I want to be a mom really bad," Rose said. "I really want babies. I’ll be 28 in October and my maternal instinct is ready. We’re definitely going to get married and have babies. Not right now because we’re still busy and we still want to enjoy each other first. We want to go on vacation, travel and just enjoy each other company, but he’s definitely the one. We’re definitely going to lay it down and get it done."

Anne Hathaway was a guest on Conan last night and busted out her rap skills.
The actress has been catching some criticism from some movie fans and critics who don't want to see her in the role of Catwoman, in the upcoming 'Dark Knight Rises' film.
Hathaway showed that she has a sense of humor by spitting a "Lil Wayne inspired" diss rap aimed at the paparazzi.

Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne" arrives, as expected, at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 436,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's the second-largest sales week of the year for an album, behind only the 1.1 million start of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way."
"Throne" was available exclusively through iTunes from Aug. 8-11 before going on sale at all digital and physical retailers on Friday, Aug. 12. SoundScan's tracking week ended on Sunday, Aug. 14.
"Throne" sold 321,000 downloads, marking the second-largest digital week ever, behind only the 662,000 moved by "Born This Way" in its first week earlier this year. While SoundScan does not disclose retailer-specific sales figures, sources say "Throne" broke iTunes' one-week sales record -- with nearly 290,000 digital copies sold through the retailer. ("Throne" surpassed the previous iTunes record, set when Coldplay's 2008 album "Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends" shifted 282,000 in its first week.)
Some industry prognosticators had projected "Throne" was going to move more than 500,000 overall. However, predicting "Throne's" first week was difficult because of its staggered release. Usually, albums drop to all retailers on Tuesdays, but "Throne" secured a Monday street date -- and only through iTunes. Thus, normal projection models -- based on all versions of an album hitting retailers on Tuesday -- were thrown for a loop.
"Throne" also earns Jay-Z his 12th No. 1 and West his fifth. For Jay, the achievement extends his record as the solo act with the most No. 1 albums in history. Only The Beatles, with 19 No. 1s, have more.
Coincidentally, Jay-Z happens to have been part of the three most recent collaborative albums that have topped the Billboard 200. Before "Throne," he joined Linkin Park for "Collision Course" and R. Kelly on "Unfinished Business," both of which debuted at No. 1 in 2004.
Jay-Z's last solo studio album, "The Blueprint 3," bowed at No. 1 with 476,000 in 2009 while West's previous effort, 2010's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," also launched at No. 1, but with 496,000.
Some observers may wonder if "Throne's" first week seems smallish compared to what the two superstar acts have debuted with previously. One could conclude that the digital-exclusivity of "Throne" for a portion of its first week may have impacted its sales, or that two superstars don't always equate to a must-buy album. The true test of the album's sales will come in its second week, when it will have a full chart week's worth of both physical and digital sales under its belt.

The anticipation for J. Cole's debut cd may has just been amped up a bit more.
Cole's Roc Nation boss, Jay-Z, is calling 'Cole World: The Sideline Story' a classic. Of course you would expect some type of hype from Hov since Cole is is artist, so we'll just have to see for ourselves when the album drops September 27.
Cole recently spoke with Rap-Up to give his take about the co-sign.
“When I played him the album, I could gauge his response not on what he said, but what his vibe was,” Cole said. “I linked up with [Roc Nation executive] Rich Kleiman and he said he was with Jay-Z later that night. Out of nowhere, Jay said, ‘So Cole got a classic. That motherf*cker.’”
Cole said he still hasn't gotten a verse from Jay for the album, but he'll be ok without it, if it doesn't happen.
“The whole world knows that J. Cole is waiting on a Jay-Z verse, but if it don’t happen, it don’t happen. But how ill is it that the album is called The Sideline Story, which is a metaphor for me trying to get off the bench, and I’m waiting for the nod from the coach?”

The man long suspected of murdering Soulja Slim, has been killed in New Orleans.
29-year old Garrelle Smith, was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest on Saturday [August 13]
Police suspect Smith and another man, Stephen Kennedy, killed Soulja, real name James Tapp, for $10,000 in November 2003 following a dispute with another record label.
Because no witnesses would come forward charges were dropped in the Soulja Slim murder case.

The Times Picayune reports that the 5 foot 6 inch, 155 pound Smith was suspected in at least two other murders, but because of his reputation as a hit man witnesses never came forward.

A fan upset he didn't get an autograph from NFL free agent Terrell Owens, tried to bait the football player into a fight by hurling racial insults at him.
This all went down in Miami last month, but the footage is just now surfacing.
According to TMZ, T.O. was posing with some female fans when this dude got his feelings hurt and started going off.
The guy is lucky T.O. didn't bust his grill, but then again that could be what he wanted so he could sue.
Either way T.O. proved to be the smarter man that day.
