It's been nearly three years since Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, but some things are never forgotten.
President Obama called Kanye a jackass at the time and not much has changed since September 2009.
Obama repeated the same statement to David Samuels of The Atlantic during a brief interview recently when asked which rapper he preferred most, West or Jay-Z.
“Jay-Z,” Obama says. “Although I like Kanye. He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.”
When reminded that he once referred to Yeezy as a donkey's rear end, Obama said his feelings hadn't changed.
“He is a jackass,” Obama continued. “But he’s talented.”

We've seen in the past that Lil Wayne isn't afraid to push boundaries. He's dropped love ballads and a rock album in the past. It's still kind of surprising to hear that his next album could contain love songs exclusively.
“I was also recording an album at the same time called 'Devol,'” he told MTV’s Hip Hop POV. “It’s spelled D-E-V-O-L because that’s ‘loved’ spelled backwards. It’s my version of love songs. And what I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they’re not saying ‘I love you.’ It’s all material that I did when I was locked up.”
Weezy didn't give a time frame on when the project would be released.
Would hardcore Lil Wayne fans support an album filled with love songs? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

Last week we put up a poll asking how long you thought Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would be date before thier relationship ended. 42% of you didn't think the relationship would last six months. The next highest choice selected was Kanye would "put a ring on it" with 32% of the vote. If early reports are to be believed then 32% of the people surveyed might be onto something.
Though they have only been "officially" dating for a couple of weeks the Louis Vuitton Don is in love with Kim K. according to US Weekly.
"It's not a PR stunt," a source insisted. "They're perfect for each other. He thinks she's his Beyonce!"
Kanye must be looking forward to even move media scrutiny
Kim on the other hand is more used to her popularity being based on the person she dates. This shouldn't be that much of a change for her.
Could Kim and Kanye be the next Jay-Z and Beyonce? Take our poll and sound off in the comment section below.

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.
It was not immediately clear what charge Zimmerman will face.
Martin, 17 and unarmed, was shot and killed Feb. 26 by Zimmerman, who said he was acting in self-defense. Police in Sanford, Fla., where the shooting took place, did not charge Zimmerman, citing the state’s “stand your ground” law.
Corey told reporters Tuesday night that she would hold a news conference about the case within 72 hours. A news release from her office said the event will be held in Sanford or Jacksonville, Fla.
Benjamin Crump, who is representing the Martin family, said this week that Corey’s office had asked where Trayvon’s parents would be each day this week. They arrived Wednesday in Washington for a civil rights conference organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton, where they are scheduled to speak.
The announcement of a charge against Zimmerman would come a day after Zimmerman's attorneys withdrew from the case, citing their inability to contact Zimmerman.
Lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig on Tuesday expressed concern about Zimmerman’s emotional and physical well-being, saying he has taken actions without consulting them. They also said they do not know where Zimmerman is.
“You can stop looking in Florida,” Uhrig told reporters. “Look much further away than that.”
Corey said Monday that she would not bring the case before a grand jury, which was expected to convene this week. She said her decision to forgo the grand jury should not be viewed as a factor in determining whether charges will be filed.
Corey has indicated in recent weeks that she might not need a grand jury to bring charges against Zimmerman.
The lawyers said they stand by their assertions that Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he killed the 17-year-old, who was unarmed, but they acknowledged that they formed their impressions without meeting Zimmerman.
**UPDATE**
(CNN) -- George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who says he was acting in self-defense when he fatally shot an unarmed teenager in Sanford, Florida, has been charged with second-degree murder, special prosecutor Angela Corey announced Wednesday.
Zimmerman was arrested on a warrant and was in the custody of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, his new attorney, Mark O'Mara, told CNN legal analyst Mark NeJame.
The charges were announced in Jacksonville by Corey, who has said her job was "to find out the full truth" about the February 26 incident in Sanford.
For weeks, Trayvon Martin's parents have demanded an arrest in their 17-year-old son's shooting death. His mother, Sybrina Fulton, said earlier Wednesday, "I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that justice will be served."
Zimmerman's claim of self-defense failed to quell an uproar about the decision by Sanford police not to initially charge him and about Florida's "stand your ground" law, which allows the use of deadly force by anyone who feels a reasonable threat of death or serious injury.

Nicki Minaj is enjoying a huge week. The Young Money star learned earlier in the week she had become the first female rapper to top the UK charts with her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The news on this side of the pond is just as good as Minaj grabs the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 253,000 units sold.
The album is Nicki's second to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200, following her debut Pink Friday which debuted at No. 2 when it was released December 10, 2010 with 375,000 copies sold, but eventually climbed to the top spot on February 19, 2011.

A couple of weeks ago Rihanna was spotted heading to a New York restaurant wearing a black mesh see-through shirt with no bra. There was no imagination needed to see the singer's exposed breasts, she even joked with photographers the next day by asking "did you see my t*tties?"
Apparently it's OK for her to be seen out in public showing off her bitties, but don't expect Riri to appear in Playboy anytime soon.
"My mother would kill me if I posed nude! My mother raised me with certain standards," Rihanna told Mondanite magazine.

The "We Found Love" singer does admit her sense of style can be on the daring side.
"My way probably won't work for most people, but the more I got naked the more comfortable I felt. I just have to face my fear," she said. "You always find something wrong, you always find something you're uncomfortable with. One thing turns into another and you get embarrassed and self-conscious about it - you feel like everybody can see what you see."
Do you think we will ever see Rihanna posing nude for a magazine like Playboy?
