Last night's 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy relief concert at New York's Madison Square Garden featured big time stars like Alicia Keys, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters from Pink Floyd and Chris Martin from Coldplay. But all everybody seems to want to talk about is Kanye West'sskirt.
The 35-year old rapper wore a black leather skirt-like bottom over his pants paired with a black hoodie during his 20-minute performance.
Yeezy's outfit caught the attention of many on Twitter including Cam'ron who tweeted, "Pyrex and a skirt? Sh*t ain't adding up And if u co-sign this I'm blocking u!! Straight up. Ima have to save us."
Kanye wore similar outfits all throughout his Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z and nobody seemed to say much then.
Isabel Wilkinson of The Daily Beast wrote, "Is our collective amnesia so great that we can't remember that Kanye's worn a leather skirt 1,000 times before?"
A KanyesSkirt Twitter account also popped up last night and has over 1400 followers so far.
What do you think of all the chatter about Kanye's skirt? Are people overreacting?
BET has had quite a few nice emcees step into the booth since it started the BET Backroom freestyle series. The latest rapper to step into the booth is Action Bronson.
With just days remaining until T.I.'s eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head drops the Atlanta rapper is hard at work doing promo for the project.
The "Countdown to T.I." series will document Tip's hectic final days leading up to the December 18th release date.
In episode 1 of 5 we get a behind the scenes look as Tip hits up New York with stops at Atlantic Records, BET and MTV where the Grand Hustle CEO discusses the album.
T.I. recently sat down with "Say Anything" host Joy Behar to talk about a variety of topics. While not glamorizing prison life, Tip did acknowledge that his jail stints have given him a higher media profile.
"It's a double edged sword. Although I'm not condoning or trying to bring any glamour to the fact that I went to prison. But I must acknowledge that I'm a whole lot more popular now," Tip admitted. "When you're on CNN and MSNBC and all these things - I can't buy that kind of publicity. However if I had to do it all again I'd definitely give it all back."
Joy then asked T.I. what he thought of Rihanna and Chris Brown getting back together.
"I know they a lot of genuine love for one another," the Grand Hustle CEO said. "I don't think that either of them would the other and go somewhere else and find someone that would make them as happy."
Although he and Chris are friends, Tip made it clear he wouldn't let one of his daughters date the superstar if he could help it.
"Absolutely not," T.I. said at the thought of one of his daughters going out with the singer. "But if my daughter is grown what can I say?"

If you're a member of the Ukrainian parliament fighting skills come in handy.
Deputies from opposition and pro-government parties blocked the first session of Ukraine's parliament on Wednesday (December 12) after numerous fights erupted in the parliament chamber.
Scuffles erupted when members of several parties approached the stand simultaneously and attempted to push each other out of the way.
At one moment a majority of those gathered in the parliament chamber stood up and joined in. Deputies could be seen pulling each other by their clothes, pushing and shoving.
A few members of parliament attempted to climb into the parliament speaker's stand and were being pushed off by others.
World heavyweight boxing champion Vitaly Klitschko, who heads the UDAR (Punch) party, chose to look on and did not join into the brawl.
Wednesday's session of the parliament was to be the first test of the cohesion of political forces underpinning Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich with an expected vote on the nomination of Mykola Azarov for prime minister, but it was marred by protest from the start.

"I was definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago. I was looking online and I [saw] how these animals are tortured and skinned, and you don't really realize the hurt and the pain they go through just for fashion. I want to be a voice for them," Evelyn says in the video.

Trinidad James has only been rapping for 11 months, but he may have parlayed one hit record into a sizable record deal. There has been a bidding war for the Atlanta rapper ever since his song "All Gold Everything" started to bubble.
During his recent sold out show at Santos Party House in NYC it became clear that the song was not just a regional record as Trinidad performed it two times in a row for the enthusiastic crowd.
XXL reported that Joie Manda, Chris Atlas and Barry Weiss were in the house representing Def Jam Records and Mike Keyser from Atlantic Records was also in the building to watch Trinidad perform.
Now rumors are running rampant that Def Jam has cut Trinidad a $2 million check to join their roster that already includes Rihanna, Kanye West, 2 Chainz and Frank Ocean.
The news has people on Twitter talking. Check out some of the reactions below.
