Pusha T's new mixtape Wrath of Caine was inspired by Big Daddy Kane's song "Wrath of Kane." Push breaks down for Sway In the Morning why he thinks Kane is better than Rakim.
"In making this mixtape I realized in my opinion that Kane was better than Rakim," Pusha said. "This is like an ongoing battle through my friends. Arguing among The Re-Up Gang. Arguing among me and my brother. I thought Rakim was better for a long time. I was driving to New York, and I was [going] through Philly. And during the mid day they were doing all Rakim and all Kane. So as I'm driving through Philly [they were playing] back to back records. And 'The Wrath of Kane' was the solidifying point for me. They both were great lyricists. It just got to a point of discography to me. Kane's discography...he won."
Pusha also spit a freestyle.
What do you think of Pusha's comments? Is Big Daddy Kane better than Rakim?

Rick Ross like to call himself "the biggest boss", but some are wondering today if the Miami rapper is really "the biggest fraud."
Ross was driving his Rolls Royce Monday morning in Fort Lauderdale with his girlfriend Shateria L. Moragne-el in the passenger seat when the car came under fire as they drove down Las Olas. Ross managed to get away from the gunfire before crashing his car into a building.
He later reportedly hired 24-hour armed bodyguards to watch his back day and night.
Now this is where the story starts to get fishy.
Fort Lauderdale TV station Channel 7 News questions how the barrage of bullets hit buildings in the area, but not one hit Ross' car. They say it may have been a hoax to stir up publicity for the rapper.
"Some people are wondering how you shoot at a Rolls-Royce, and you miss it [even though] it's so big," said Shelby Rushin, a DJ at the hip hop and R&B radio station 99 Jamz.
Channel 7 News reporter Vanessa Medina points out that it was Ross' 37th birthday and he's coming out with a new album. The reporter even read 50 Cent's tweet regarding the shooting.
So we have to ask what you people think. Was the shooting real? Or was it staged to drum up publicity for Ross' album which has no buzz?

He was supposed to be her perfect match but he almost cost her her life. Mary Kay Beckman of Las Vegas is suing Match.com for $10 million. She said she met a man through the popular dating website and he tried to kill her.
"He broke into my garage," said Beckman. "When the police arrested him, he said he wasn't there to hurt me. He was there to kill me. His intent was to kill me that night."
Beckman has told her story many times but she still gets emotional recalling the worst experience of her life.
In 2011, Wade Ridley stabbed her 10 times with a butcher knife. When the knife broke, he stomped on her head.
"It's a very traumatic thing for anybody to have to go through," said Beckman
The 50-year-old real estate agent and mother of two says the attack left her hospitalized for months. She endured three head surgeries and a seizure. While she was in the hospital, Beckman said Ridley killed an Arizona woman he met, 62-year-old Anne Simenson, on the same website.
"I struggled a lot thinking why did she die and why did I live," said Beckman

She said Ridley came looking for her but authorities arrested him. Ridley then committed suicide in jail.
Now Beckman is suing Match.com, claiming it doesn't do enough to keep violent offenders off its site.
"They don't say one in five are part of an attempted murder or one in five are killed," said Beckman. "They don't tell you people are missing."
Beckman is pushing for a disclaimer on Match.com similar to what you find on cigarettes, warning people dating sites can be harmful.
"God saved me that night for a reason," said Beckman. "I shouldn't be here today. It's my mission and goal to save someone from being hurt or help someone make a different decision with their online dating choices."
Beckman said besides the physical scars she's healed from the attack. She's still in counseling but she's now in a happy and healthy relationship with a man she did not meet online.
Match.com issued this statement:
"What happened to Mary Kay Beckman is horrible but this lawsuit is absurd. The many millions of people who have found love on Match.com and other online dating sites know how fulfilling it is. And while that doesn't make what happened in this case any less awful, this is about a sick, twisted individual with no prior criminal record, not an entire community of men and women looking to meet each other."
They add there's online safety tips throughout the site.
Beckman said she'd been on Match.com for two months when she met Wade Ridley in September 2010. She said it took her only eight days to see his true colors. She broke it off and he turned violent

Beyonce shut down all haters today when she decided to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner” without the help of a backing track or band.
The multi-platinum artist was at the news conference for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Sunday when she gave the flawless impromptu performance.
The singer had received criticism from many in the media after it was discovered she lip-synced the national anthem at President Obama's inauguration on Monday January 21.
After today's a cappella performance the singer fielded questions from media members that were in attendance and revealed her decision to lip-sync.
"I am a perfectionist ... I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra [at the Inauguration]. It was a live television show and a very important moment for me," she said. "Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking the risk … so I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry. And I’m very proud of my performance."
