ABOUT
Anthony Peterson, known better as AP G. is a seasoned multi-genre artist who has had an inspirational life trajectory. By 2014, AP G. had spent over 7 years deep in drug addiction which brought with it the experiences of homelessness, criminal activity, violence, drug dealing, and loss of life. One spring afternoon in 2014 AP G. took a fatal overdose of heroin but was miraculously revived. He said, “laying on that bathroom floor I never thought the black could get darker than that, but I was wrong and it did.” Things only got worse and worse for the aspiring artist. What followed was 3 long hard years culminating in him experiencing his 4th drug overdose and a heart attack. It was finally enough for him. He decided in that he must be meant for more and he got clean and healthy and hasn’t looked back. Now AP G. only looks forward to an extremely bright future with successful endeavors in a variety of areas.
AP G. has been fighting to spread his message of living a life of love and positivity. AP G. has involvement in recovery programs stating, “I always say if I can reach just one person who is at the end of their line and get them to just try for life one more time then it was worth saving my life.” He remains a strong supporter of adoption as he simply but inspirationally puts it, “I want to save as many kids as I can, I never new my father and faced daily abuse as a young boy so I made it my mission to do everything I can to change things for as many as I can. Ultimately I hope to die completely broke because I want to give it all away before I die.” AP G. also supports numerous other charities including military servicemember suicide prevention, homelessness and the newly formed Path 2 Prosperity with his record label Path 2 Entertainment.
When asked to describe himself, the hard-working artist simply commented, “I came through the depths of hell to show everyone no matter how far you fell you can choose to move to a better place and have success from spreading love, positivity and living well. Treat everyone how you would like to be treated and do your best through every test and whatever comes next you will beat it.”
