Migos Rapper Takeoff Killed In Houston

HOUSTON (Fox26) - Takeoff, of the rap trio Migos, has died after a shooting at a Houston bowling alley, according to TMZ Hip Hop, who cited law enforcement sources and witnesses.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, the shooting happened early Tuesday morning at the bowling alley 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

Houston police at the scene did confirm to FOX 26 that a shooting occurred at that bowling alley in the 1200 block of San Jacinto Street but did not confirm the identities of anyone involved in the shooting.

The shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. Police say one person – described only as a Black male in his late 20s – died at the scene, and two other people were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Police say there was a private event being held at the bowling alley that ended at 1 a.m. but stretched until 2 a.m.

According to HPD, members of Migos were at the party, but they could not confirm if they had any involvement in the shooting incident.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, video shows Quavo next to Takeoff and calling for help. TMZ Hip Hop reports that Quavo was not injured.
