Bernard Hopkins has been defying the odds for years now. Critics have said he should retire, but at 48-years old he looks better in the ring than 95 percent of boxers half his age.

After a long reign at the top of the middleweight division (160 pounds), The Executioner moved up 15 pounds in weight to the light heavyweight division. He's currently the IBF champion and holds the distinction of being the oldest champion in boxing history. His record currently stands at 53 Wins (32 knockouts, 19 decisions), 6 Losses, 2 Draws, 2 No Contest.

After watching Floyd Mayweather Jr. raise his record to 45-0 by defeating the previously unbeaten Canelo Alvarez on Saturday, September 14, B-Hop wants to fight Money May.

"It ain't the weight that's gonna win the fight. Not in this level. It's the skills," Hopkins told ESNEWS. "There's an old saying, the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The only guy that is going to beat Floyd Mayweather is another master chess player."

The troubling saga of Gucci Mane continues. The Atlanta rapper was arrested in his hometown this morning around 12 AM after friends flagged down police complaining about his erratic behavior.

When cops approached the 33-year old, real name Radric Davis, he cursed and threatened them, according to TMZ.

He was immediately taken into custody. A search of his person turned up weed and a handgun.

Gucci was booked and charged with marijuana possession, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.

The 1017 Brick Squad boss was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, where he still remains.

Serius Jones stopped by VladTV for an exclusive interview reflecting on his fight with Math Hoffa at Summer Madness 3. He previously released a short Instagram video showing off his unmarked face after the fight, and a longer blog explaining in some detail what happened.

This time Serius released all of his thoughts and feelings about the incident in front of our cameras. He stated that he firmly believes that Math Hoffa punched him when he wasn't looking at him, that the gay jokes Serius was saying in his first round agitated Math, and that he thought Math's blog apologizing and explaining his day leading up to the Summer Madness 3 fight was strange to say the least.

Serius wants everyone to know that from his perspective, he was never knocked out, and was only on the ground because he got pushed down and held down by security while they were trying to separate him and Math.

On Wednesday, September 11, Fat Trel held a mixtape release party at Sounds of Brazil (SOB's) In New York City for his project titled SDMG. Unfortunately gunshots were fired leaving four people injured in what is being described as a gang related incident.

Here's a brief interview with Trel and Young Pretty prior to the shooting.

Kanye West has officially been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft in connection with his July scuffle with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

West charged at Daniel Ramos and seemed to wrestle with him over his camera. There were no punches thrown, but Ramos was taken to the hospital for injuries he supposedly suffered.

Ramos hired high powered attorney Gloria Allred. Last month the two held a news conference announcing they were suing West. Ramos said that he still has to use a cane as a result of the attack.

West will be arraigned October 10th. If convicted of both misdemeanors Kanye could face a maximum of 1 year in jail, according to TMZ.
