Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Pound is demanding payment or else from the makers of the popular video game Grand Theft Auto V.
The rapper has filed a lawsuit against Take-Two Interactive Software and Rockstar Games. The suit claims that two of his songs "C-Walk" and "Nothin' But the Cavi Hit" are used in the game without his permission.
According to Snoop Dogg's cousin, he rejected the "offensively low offer of $4,271.00 for both songs." Despite not being able to reach an agreement, Rockstar used the songs anyway.
"[This is about] respecting an artist's work. Rockstar didn't do that here and I can't let them get away with it," Daz told TMZ.
Daz and his attorneys at Kushner Carlson have fired off a cease and desist letter. They are demanding that Rockstar either make them an offer they can't refuse within 14 days or recall and destroy all unsold copies of the game
GTA V has sold 15 million copies so far and millions more are currently sitting on store shelves.
