Kendrick Lamar stopped by The Whoolywood Shuffle promoting his latest single "i". He speaks on traveling to St. Louis to gain Ron Isley's permission for use of his "That Lady" sample. K. Dot also confirms George Clinton collaborations are underway.
There are also motivational gems contained within the interview. One being that Kendrick emphasizes the basis of challenging yourself. He said "Challenge yourself, and don't take instances for granted." "Whether it's a 16, a hook, or 4 bars challenge yourself. And this is why hip hop is at a point where creativity is stagnant, because artists aren't challenging themselves."

R&B singer Ginuwine, real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, has fallen on hard financial times. According to his lawyer, Bruce Beckner, he'll soon have to file for bankruptcy.
“Mr. Lumpkin is very close to declaring bankruptcy,” Ginuwine’s lawyer, Bruce Beckner, told the New York Daily News. “He owes my firm a ton of money and a bunch of other people a ton of money. He owes Uncle Sam 300-odd thousand dollars in back income taxes.”
Buckner says his client's divorce from Solé has contributed heavily to the 44-year old's money problems. He's also facing a lawsuit from Robert Reives, the executive producer of his certified double platinum-selling 1996 debut album, The Bachelor.
Reives claims he's owed $1.25 million in royalties from a 5-album deal Ginuwine signed with Sony. He's asking the court to award him $250,000.
Ginuwine believes Reives claim is outside the statute of limitation and therefore isn't valid. The two sides will argue their case in Manhattan Federal Court Monday.

Bless her, she "woke up like this." Beyonce showed the world what she's working with in a couple of new photos posted on her Tumblr page.
The 33-year old superstar slipped into a skin tight gray leotard with the words "99 Problems But My Ass Ain't One Of Them" emblazoned on it. The quote is a play on words from her husband Jay Z's song "99 Problems."
Mrs. Carter is still a certified dime. Make sure you grab Beyonce: The Platinum Edition, double DVD/CD on November 24th.

A video entitled "Man smacks the soul out of girl on the NY Subway" has gone viral sparking a debate on if it's right for a man to ever hit a woman, even if he's being provoked.
In the video uploaded to YouTube on Saturday, October, 8, a young woman berates a man's clothing and sense of style for several minutes, while he just smiles and nods his head.
"Get your money up," she tells him.
At that point the female and her friends notice another man filming the incident. She walks over to him, exchanges a few words and tries to knock the camera out of his hand.
The guy she was initially arguing with calls her a "dirty bitch." She responds by asking him what he said, then striking him. At that point he slaps her so hard she falls back several feet.
An all out brawl ensues involving the female, her friends, the guy getting dissed and another man, while passengers scramble to get out of the way.
Who should get the blame here?

Beautiful female reporters frequently roam the sidelines during American sports games interviewing players and coaches without any complaints from anyone. The same can't be said for Serbia's Red Star Belgrade soccer team.
Katarina Sreckovic nearly lost her job because the players complained that she was so hot they couldn't concentrate. She was repeatedly told to leave the side of the pitch because she was a distraction, according to the Daily Mail.
"I admit it was a problem at the start but I think they've got used to me now,' she told the Daily Mail. "It was tough though because for a while it seemed as if they might not be able to work with me at all. I was also asked to go away a couple of times because I was a distraction on the pitch, and players complained that they couldn't concentrate."
Sure Katarina is beautiful, but professional players are being paid to do a job. It's like complaining to your boss at an office job that a co-worker is too sexy for you to be able to work.
The team appears to have gotten their act together and are now able to play in Katarina's presence.
