Lil Peep fans are still reeling after learning of his death this week from what is suspected to be a drug overdose. The 21-year old made no secret of his love for prescription medication. The singer/rapper can be seen in videos on his Instagram page talking about and popping Xanax and Percocet.
TMZ caught up with Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Pound to get his reaction to Peep's passing and the prescription drug epidemic prevalent among a lot of young artists today.
"I mean, you know these kids nowadays are being drug addicts," he said. 'The culture is addiction. We really gotta teach the kids about that part of the game. Because these new scientific drugs that they are coming out with will kill you, quick. If they got some stuff that will take away headaches ... they got some stuff that will knock you off around here. Especially two Xanax pills.
"When we was coming up we made The Chronic album. So, we was smoking weed," he continued. "Now weed is legal. And now pharmacy drugs is illegal if you don't have the right prescription. Everybody is just a motherfucking addict."

Kansas City, Missouri native and Strange Music record label boss, Tech N9ne, has ended his 22-year marriage to Lecoya LeJeune.
TMZ reports that they separated in 2005, but Tech, born Aaron Yates, didn't file for divorce until 2015. It was finalized earlier this month.
Tech was awarded 49% of Strange Music and his management company. He has to give his ex-wife an asset equalization payment of $150,000, as well as monthly spousal support in the amount of $5,555.55 for 6 years.
Lecoya also walked away with several bank accounts.
The former couple have 2 adult kids, so no custody or child support issues came into play.
