NEW YORK – A new Michael Jackson album is expected by the end of the year, culled from unreleased material in his vaults. But Jackson collaborator and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am is vehemently opposed to the idea.

"I don't think that should ever come out. That's bad," he said. "He was a perfectionist and he wouldn't have wanted it that way. How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain't here to bless it?"

Will.i.am collaborated with Jackson on the rerelease of "Thriller" in 2008 with remixed versions of some of the album's classic songs. He said Jackson was very particular about all aspects of his musical productions, from his vocals to arrangements to instrumentation.

"Now that he is not part of the process, what are they doing? Why would you put a record out like that? Because he was a friend of mine, I just think that's disrespectful," he said. "What's wrong with what he already contributed to the world?"

The Jackson estate did not respond to a request for comment.

When asked about the high demand for any new Jackson music, will.i.am replied: "So what? You don't disrespect someone when they're gone. ... How much can you suck from his energy? ... Freaking parasites!"

Not much is known about what will be on the album, but Michael's brother Jackie has said he and brother Marlon were working on the record with John McClain, Jackson's former manager and executor of his estate.

After releasing his "Before I Self-Destruct" album and going on a massive world tour, 50 Cent traded his mic for a script for the new movie "Twelve," due in theaters this Friday (Aug. 6). The Joel Schumacher-directed drama, in which the rapper plays a ruthless drug supplier opposite Chace Crawford and Emma Roberts, is one of multiple film projects he's lined up over the next year to establish himself as an acting force.

"[Working in film] came down to the actual timing," 50 tells Billboard.com, adding that he was offered a role in the Sylvester Stallone-directed action flick "The Expendables" but had to turn it down to focus on promoting his last album. For "Twelve," however, a little downtime in his schedule coincided with a juicy dramatic role and the chance to work with Schumacher ('Batman Forever," "Phone Booth").

"I thought a lot of his projects in the past were well done, and I wanted to be associated with that type of artistic integrity," 50 Cent says. "He was intrigued by my confidence walking in, and then he saw through our conversation how passionate I was about being a part of the project."

50 Cent will also star with Val Kilmer in "Gun," an action film currently in post-production and released under his new production company, Cheetah Vision Films. The rapper, who presented the film at the New York International Latino Film Festival on Friday (July 30), also co-wrote the screenplay and says it was fascinating having "110 pages to write everything, versus three minutes of time in a song."

However, the most surprising role that 50 will inhabit may be the cancer victim he plays in Mario Van Peebles' upcoming drama "Things Fall Apart," a part which required his weight to drop from 214 to 160. The acclaimed performances of Tom Hanks in "Philadelphia" and Robert De Niro in "Raging Bull" helped motivate the dramatic weight loss, although 50 says he was "pigging out" as soon as shooting wrapped and has regained his normal weight.

"I understand the significance in the transformation and the weight loss process, but it's my performance in the actual film that I hope will be impressive," he says.

As far as musical projects, 50 Cent says that he has been dabbling in some different production styles, including more dance-driven material, for a new release called "Black Magic." While he believes that the project will eventually see the light of day, 50 says that it will probably be after the official follow-up to "Self-Destruct," which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in December.

Latin beauty Eva Mendes and co-stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg attended the premier for their new comedy. 'The Other Guys' at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (August 2) in New York City.

Also in attendence were Samuel Jackson, Jimmy Fallon, Ice-T and his wife Coco.

Eve revealed to ContactMusic that she can't go anywhere near Will and Mark without them sniffing her.

"Mark and Will love the way I smell, so they just sniffed me on the (red) carpet and they both kind of sniffed me at the same time, and it's very, oddly appealing.

"I don't know (what the smell is), I mix my perfumes but I have this old Cuban perfume that has violets, so they must like the smell of violets."

I wonder what their wives thinking about all this sniffing, lol.

Anyway, the three are starring in the action/comedy, 'The Other Guys'. It's about two mismatched New York City detectives who seize an opportunity to step up like the city's top cops whom they idolize -- only things don't quite go as planned.

Jackson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson play the two top cops so you can guess which two are played by Ferrell and Wahlberg.

The movie premiers this friday, August 6.

Your parents tell you over and over as a child, "don't play in traffic". Apparently, this dude never heard that cautionary warning.

This guy decides to start dancing in the middle of the street, moves right into oncoming traffic and damn near gets knocked back into his mom's womb by an ice cream truck.

I wouldn't normally make light of something like this, but # 1, the guy is ok, just suffered a couple of broken bones. And # 2, this is the dumbest sh*t I've seen somebody do in a minute.

What he was thinking, only he knows, glad he's alright though.

I think it's safe to say that the love affair Lebron James once had with the city of Cleveland is 100% over.

James bolted from the Cleveland Cavaliers in July to join the Miami Heat in the biggest free agent move the NBA has ever seen.

Since then, the fans in Cleveland, who once cheered his every move have turned on him with a vengeance. From burning his jerseys to making videos on youtube ripping his decision, the Cavalier faithful let it be known, they now despise King James.

Now, James has struck back with a not so subtle jab of his own.

According to Cleveland.com, Lebron took out an ad in his hometown newspaper, the Akron Beacon Journal, thanking the city for all of its support.

He talks about his love for the city of Akron, but doesn't once mention Cleveland, the city he spent spent seven years playing pro ball in.....OUCH!

Here is the full text from the ad:

"To My Family, Friends and Fans in Akron:

"For all my life, I have lived in Akron -- and for that, I am truly a lucky man.

"It was here where I first learned how to play basketball, and where I met the people who would become my lifelong friends and mentors. Their guidance, encouragement and support will always be with me.

"Akron is my home, and the central focus of my life. It's where I started, and it's where I will always come back to. You can be sure that I will continue to do everything I can for this city, which is so important to my family and me. Thank you for your love and support. You mean everything to me
."

At least one former Cavalier, turned Heat did show the city of Cleveland some respect. Two days ago, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who like James had played seven years for the Cavaliers, took out an ad in the Cleveland Plain Dealer thanking the fans for their support during his time there.

Chris Brown plays Jesse Attica, the youngest in a crew of bank robbers, in the upcoming movie "Takers." The band of thieves, which also includes Idris Elba and T.I., has just days to plan and pull off a multimillion-dollar heist.

In a show-stealing action sequence, Brown is chased through the streets of L.A. by Matt Dillon's character, Detective Jack Welles, and partner Eddie Hatcher (played by Jay Hernandez). The singer-turned-actor leaps through windows, scales buildings, jumps on cars and anything else necessary to avoid being captured.

"I've never had to do so much running in my life," Dillon said about the scene. "For that sequence, we were just, like, four days straight, just running through the streets, and this kid Chris is an unbelievable athlete. This guy Chris Brown, he's unbelievable, man. So keeping up with him was a challenge even in itself, which was perfect for our characters."

Brown said he enjoyed bringing his skills to another medium, and he enjoyed getting physical for the part. The singer said the exhilarating stunts you see him pull off onscreen are all him — well, almost.

"The most thrilling part about this movie is probably the stunts," Brown said on the film's set. "I do, like, 96 percent of my stunts. Some stunts they wanna use the doubles; I don't wanna use the double! And they're like, 'We have to for safety and insurance issues.' I think the most exciting parts are the stunts, getting to blow stuff up, shoot guns, you know what I'm saying. It's all fun!"

Brown said he was attracted to "Takers" because it stood out from his other roles.

"When acting, I feel like it's cool to use your strengths, but it's also cool to use your other abilities as well," he said. "I didn't just wanna do movies that had consistent dancing and singing. I wanted to do stuff that pushes me as an actor at the end of the day. Because you have people like T.I. and Common that do stuff that's not around what they do in the entertainment industry as far as music, and they succeeded. So I just wanna branch over to that, especially like Will Smith. He comes from rapping and going right into the acting thing, so I wanna come from the singing parts and go into acting, and people can tell the difference. I think that with this role, it was more intense, more action, more stuff that I love to do, what I love to see in movies."

"Takers" hits theaters August 27 and also stars Michael Ealy, Zoe Saldana, Hayden Christensen and Paul Walker.

As previously reported here on ThisIs50, Laurence Fishburne's 19 year old daughter has embarked on a career in adult films, but her dad isn't at all happy about it.

Montana Fishburne aka "Chippy D", has revealed that her father, is not at all happy with her decision to become a porn star.

She told TMZ, "[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he's mad at me but I haven't spoken to him yet. I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him."

Montana filmed her first skin flick for Vivid Entertainment, in a bid to eventually become as successful as her idol, Kim Kardashian who also has a sex tape out.

Regarding her dad she adds, "I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive."

I hate to break the news to "Chippy D", but no father is ever going to view their daughter getting her back blown out on film as a "positive".

Hopefully she can patch things up with her dad though. According to her, the two were on very good terms before this whole XXX tape thing popped up.

(KMOV) -- Four suspects are still on the loose after an ATM armored vehicle was stolen early Monday morning.

St. Louis police tell News 4 that an ATM Solutions armored vehicle was stolen around 5:00 a.m. on Monday. The robbery happened in the 3700 block of Grandel in midtown St. Louis near the Fox Theatre.

Police are still looking for four men who allegedly took off in the vehicle. The men were wearing masks and were heavily armed.

St. Louis Police Captain Michael Caruso says that this heist was carefully planned.

Employees at the ATM Solutions building tell St. Louis police that a security officer reported to work around 5:00 a.m. and as he was entering the building, the four masked men forced their way inside. The men were armed with assault rifles and handguns.

Witnesses say the suspects disarmed the security officer and waited for a second security to arrive. Two people are needed to open the safe that stores the money.

The second security officer arrived around 5:30 a.m. and when he entered the building he was confronted by the suspects. The suspects took the second guard's weapon as well.

According to employees, the two guards were then forced to open the safe. The suspects then tied-up the guards.

Police say the suspects loaded an undetermined amount of cash into one of the company's armored vehicles and took off.

Around 6:00 a.m., a supervisor arrived at work, found the two guards tied-up and contacted police.
The armored vehicle was found around 7:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Evans.

Police say that a black Pontiac Grand Am that may have been used in this incident was found in the 3700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. around 10:15 a.m.

The suspects remain at large.

The vehicle was carrying between $4 million and $5 million dollars. No word yet on how much money is missing from the vehicle.

A spokesperson with ATM Solutions tells News 4 that none of the guards inside the vehicle were injured.

Investigators tell News 4 they are looking over a significant amount of surveillance video.

Caruso says that these suspects knew exactly what they were doing in this robbery. Whether or not this was an inside job is under investigation.

ON BEING HAUNTED BY DEATH:

Do you think about your own death?
Yeah, I do. A lot. I think about it a lot. I try not to think about it but I do and it creeps me the fuck out. It creeps me out because they say that if I got to the hospital two hours later then I would be gone. I think about that a lot. When I lay in bed at night is when I think about it the most. It creeps me out man.

THE BEST EMINEM DISS TRACK ACCORDING TO EM:

What was the best thing someone said about you? Was there ever a hot Eminem diss?
Um, no. [Laughs.] Nah, I’m kidding. Shit, there was a couple of lines Everlast said like, “You ain’t running up on me with no empty gun.” I know that there is a lot of shit that I would have said about me.

ON BRITTANY MURPHY’S PASSING:

What were your thoughts when you heard that your 8 Mile co-star Brittany Murphy had passed?
It was crazy. It’s crazy. It’s crazy because at one point we were very close and she was a really good person. It’s crazy when you see things not just with her but just all these things that are happening in Hollywood with people in music, with people in acting . . .

. . . famous people.
Famous people. Famous people are overdosing at alarming rates and—that almost sounded like a commercial. Wow.

It sounded like a Sally Struthers commercial. “Please give to this charity.”
Right. But they are. And it’s one of those things man where you’re famous, doctors will kiss your ass because they love the celebrity. “Oh, I can call up Eminem and get him on the phone right now. Oh, hi Marshall, how are you doing? Do you need that [prescription]?” There are doctors that will give you certain things just because of who you are.

T-Pain's visit to Australia over the weekend for the Winterbeatz Festival ended abruptly when a photographer was attacked by one of the "rappa-turnt-sanga"'s bodyguards.

According to a report, on Sunday (August 1) night, the Grammy-award winning singer/producer arrived at the Sydney airport with an entourage of 23 people and was greeted by two photographers.

While walking through the airport's domestic terminal, local photographer Kirk Bolt was tackled and placed in a chokehold by a member of T-Pain's security. The actions by the guard were prompted after a series of words were exchanged between the paparazzi and the group of people surrounding T-Pain.

"Kirk was holding $15,000 worth of [camera] gear and was staying right out of their way, but this bloke suddenly attacked him," said a witness. "The police were called and they interviewed the bodyguard before letting him fly home to L.A. - but Kirk is now nursing a suspected fractured hand."

At press time, no information has been released regarding charges filed in connection with the incident.

Lady Gaga tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Lisa Robinson that she tries to avoid having sex because she is afraid of depleting her creative energy—“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.

She also says that she doesn’t trust anybody and doesn’t know if she ever will. Gaga tells Robinson, “I’m perpetually lonely. I’m lonely when I’m in relationships. It’s my condition as an artist.” Regarding men, she says, “I’m drawn to bad romances. And my song [“Bad Romance”] is about whether I go after those [sort of relationships] or if they find me. I’m quite celibate now; I don’t really get time to meet anyone.

Gaga talks candidly about her drug use and recalls her ultimate low point: “I was completely mental and had just been through so much.” She had been using drugs, and is quick to tell Robinson that, if she writes about that incident, “I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way. I don’t want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It’s in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster.

LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan has been released from jail, but she's not exactly a free woman.
The actress was discharged at 1:35 a.m. Monday after serving 14 days of a 90-day sentence for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case, a sheriff's spokesman said. She is now required to begin a three-month stint in rehab.

A prosecutor has said that Lohan cannot be released early and will have to spend the entire time in treatment, reportedly at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The facility and government officials declined to say whether Lohan is a patient there, but paparazzi followed a van that received a police escort to the center after Lohan's release from jail.

Lohan's abbreviated jail stay was not unexpected, although it was considerably longer than the 84 minutes she spent at the same facility in 2007. The judge said during Lohan's surrender July 20 that she had no control over how long the actress would be jailed, but she did require her to serve her time at a women's jail operated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, did not immediately return an e-mail message seeking comment.

A judge in Beverly Hills had ordered Lohan to report to rehab within a day of her release from jail, but shortened that time last week after conferring with Lohan's attorney and a prosecutor. Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Monday that the actress was required to report directly to rehab.

Inmates such as Lohan, 24, who are serving time for nonviolent offenses, typically have their stays reduced due to overcrowding and credits for good behavior.

Media have been camped outside the jail since Lohan was booked July 20, catching shots of her mother and sister coming to visit. Holley has also frequently visited Lohan.

She was released to a waiting vehicle and did not walk out the front entryway. That avoided a spectacle similar to when Paris Hilton was released after serving a jail stint in 2007. Hilton smiled and slapped hands with deputies who held back the assembled throng of photographers before meeting her parents at a waiting sport utility vehicle.

Lohan's sentence has put several of her projects on hold, including a starring role in as Linda Lovelace in a biopic on the porn star's life. It will also prevent her from promoting her role as a gun-toting nun in Robert Rodriguez's "Machete."

Lohan pleaded guilty in August 2007 to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine, and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She was sentenced to three years of probation.

The plea came after a pair of high-profile arrests earlier that year.

The jail facility in Lynwood has hosted several starlets, including actress Michelle Rodriguez and Hilton.

Rodriguez served 18 days of her 180-day sentence and was released in January 2008. Hilton served 23 days in 2007 after she was caught driving twice on a suspended license while on probation for reckless driving.

At the time, inmates serving time for nonviolent offenses were serving about 10 percent of their sentences; that figure has now increased to about 25 percent, Whitmore said.

You really don't want to be that person on the bottom of the pile catching shoe heels, it's really not a good look.

Chick gets jumped outside of Miami nightclub by a pack of she-wolves as her boyfriend tries in vain to pull her away. He almost gets mopped and dropped himself, as he falls down while his girl is getting stomped out.

Memo people, If your girl gets full of that yack and starts running her mouth to a pack of chicks, you might want to get her out of the club before closing time, before this happens.

I've seen the video, "Teach Me How To Dougie" by the group Cali Swag District and it doesn't look anything like this.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis made a video doing what he calls the "Dougie", but it looks more like the "Debra" in my opinion.

Now look, I'm not saying the dude is gay or that there is anything wrong with that if he is. What I am saying is that he displays some very feminine moves in this video.

Maybe, he did it as a joke?
