Video After The Jump

A heated racial exchange in a Detroit area parking lot -- between a white woman and black mom and her daughter -- led to the woman pulling a gun and pointing it right at the mother's face.

The argument allegedly started Wednesday evening because the white woman bumped into Takelia Hill's 15-year-old daughter, Makayla, as she was entering a Chipotle in Orion Township, MI.

Makayla claims she moved out of the way, but tells The Detroit News ... "She bumped me and I said, ‘Excuse you.’ And then she started cussing me out, and saying things like I was invading her personal space."

Takelia then got involved and that's when the racial tension started rising. As the white woman and a male companion got into their SUV, Makayla and her mom accused them of being racist. The man got out of the car and asked, "Who the f**k do you think you guys are?"

The white woman shouted, "White people aren't racist, no one's racist" -- and then started to back out and leave ... but Takelia was apparently behind the SUV or near it. She claims they were about to hit her, and it sounds like Takelia banged on their window -- and that's when the white woman got out with her pistol ... and aimed it directly at Takelia's face.

The white woman screamed, "Don't you f***ing jump behind my car. Get the f**k back! Back up! Get the f**k back! Back the f**k up!"

Thankfully, the woman finally decided to put the gun down and get back in her SUV to leave ... as cops were called. Takelia says the incident traumatized her and her 3 daughters ... who were in their vehicle.

We've reached out to police, who say they are still investigating the incident but a report has been taken.

10 years of experience, crowds of 20,000+, over 1,000,000 YouTube views,
and features with some of the biggest names in the game. Southern-bred
independent artist Q Machette has brought his magnetic lyrical style to forefront of
the independent music scene with full force.

Far from the limelight, Q Machette had very humble beginnings growing up
in Tuskegee, Alabama. Being raised by his mother, and reaching to fill the void of
an absentee father, Q Machette took to the streets for the love and support he
yearned for. Looking to drug dealers, killers, and pimps for the fatherly advice the
he was missing at home, Q Machette learned all he knew from the streets. As the
story goes, when a young man is raised in the streets he begins to embrace the
street lifestyle, and so begun his affiliation with the gangs of the streets of
Tuskegee.

According To Q Machette he “started rapping on a whim during grade
school to impress my female classmates.” The teachers were so impressed with his
lyrical prowess they provided words of encouragement to help nurture his lyrical
gift, thus saving him from the quintessential ending that the street life promised.
Beginning his career as one-third of the group Lyrical Machette, Q Machette
received a tangible introduction to the entertainment business, and ultimately left
the group to pursue his solo feats. Q Machette signed to the high profile Island
Boy Entertainment in July 2010, and he took the business by storm. Working with
the likes of some of Hip-Hop’s most heavy hitters, Gucci Mane, Young Dro, Bobby
Valentino, Trouble, Kebob Gotti, Cash Out, etc. has opened the door for Q
Machette to truly become his own star. Armed with an elegant delivery and gritty
flow the upstart emcee stands above the legion of rappers, experiencing remarkable
popularity outside of his hometown by relocating to Atlanta and setting the city on
fire.

In addition to his ever-evolving music career Q Machette started a tour
called “Say Whatever Man to Bullying”. “Say Whatever Man to Bullying” is a
program set to educate students about the effects of bullying in a real way. Q
Machette travels from school to school talking to the children, and ending each
session with a performance. Having always had a special spot in his heart for kids,
Q Machette uses this campaign as his way of giving back to his community.
Having opened up for the likes of OutKast, Shorty Lo, 2 Chainz, Trina and
more Q Machette gained some most deserved notoriety. There is something
alluring about this independent artist who stands at the threshold of stardom and
approaches his craft as confidently as an established rhyme vet. Driven,
irrefutable, and roused, Q Machette is an artist whose lyrics will remain forever
ingrained in Hip-Hop’s continuous narrative.

FORT HOOD (CBSDFW.COM) – “We were told sexual harassment isn’t illegal. Well guess what — we have a dead person because of sexual harassment.”

Powerful words spoken by Attorney Natalie Kahwam on behalf of the family of missing Fort Hood soldier Vanessa Guillén laid the ground work for an emotional outcry for justice in the nation’s capital.

While the medical examiner still has not confirmed that partial human remains found near the Leon River in Bell County are Army Pfc. Guillén, her sisters say “everything points to it being her.”

The 20-year-old’s family drove to Washington, D.C. from Texas to demand a Congressional investigation into her disappearance and their assertion that she was sexually assaulted, and ultimately killed by her superior.

That man, fatally shot himself when authorities approached him this week. One of Guillén’s sisters spoke to him before his death, and said he was dismissive and “laughed in her face.”

“They lied to our faces every single day that passed for more than two months. My sister was sexually harassed and no one cared. My sister is a human too. If this can happen to my sister it can happen to anyone else. She deserves justice!” said Vanessa’s sister, Lupe.

The family also alleges the base is covering up for the other two suspects, both of which are currently in custody.

“They falsely accounted for her at 3 p.m. the day she disappeared,” said Kahwam. “What is the cover up for? She was a soldier. Why aren’t they transparent with the family? This was mishandled from the start. It has to be investigated.”

Calling command at Fort Hood evasive and even making claims that human trafficking has happened on base, Kahwam said one of the men involved walked in and watched Guillén while she was taking a shower.

“Imagine you lose your daughter and you’re finding out information from the media? The command doesn’t feel they owe this family anything. They’re savages! They’re dishonorable,” said Kahwam.

DETROIT (AP) — As a national reckoning over racism and policing grips the nation, white Democrats are far more likely now than they were a few years ago to think police brutality is a serious issue — a dramatic shift in public opinion that some say could shape the November presidential election.

A majority of white Democrats today say police officers are more likely to use deadly force against a Black person than against a white person, according to a recent poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, not unlike five years ago.

But for the first time, the poll shows significant changes in how white Democrats view police brutality and the consequences: 64% now describe police violence against the public as very or extremely serious, compared with 29% in July 2015.

Race and policing in America have been thrust into an international spotlight amid an already tumultuous presidential campaign after a series of high-profile police killings of Black Americans that has sparked global protests and demands for structural change. The campaign had already been fraught with racial tension fueled by the coronavirus pandemic and its ensuing economic fallout, which both have disproportionately impacted people of color.

While racial inequity has long been a focal point of African Americans, experts say many white Americans, particularly white Democrats, are now grappling with the longstanding impacts of systemic racism in ways they never have before.

San Diego resident Chris Chapman, a white woman and a Democrat, said witnessing George Floyd’s death was particularly jarring for her.

“I think the brutality of that event, it really raised the consciousness, at least for me,” Chapman, 68, said. “It shocked people who really hadn’t yet gotten to the place where they thought that could happen.”

Most white Democrats say that they disapprove of President Donald Trump’s handling of racial issues and that he has only sowed further division at a time of immense unrest. Trump on Sunday tweeted and later deleted a video showing one of his supporters chanting “white power,” a racist slogan associated with white supremacists.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — San Francisco police will stop making public the mug shots of people who have been arrested unless they pose a threat to the public, as part of an effort to stop perpetuating racial stereotypes, the city’s police chief announced Wednesday.

San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott said the department will no longer release booking photos of suspects to the media or allow officers to post them online.

The policy takes effect Wednesday.

Booking photos are taken when someone is arrested. They are often made public whether or not the person is prosecuted for the alleged crime, which undermines the presumption of innocence and helps perpetuate stereotypes.

Jack Glaser, a public policy professor at the University of California Berkeley who researches racial stereotyping and whose work Scott consulted, said data shows Black people who are arrested are more likely to have their cases dismissed by prosecutors.

But the mug shots live on.

Numerous websites post photos of mug shots online, regardless of whether anyone was convicted of a crime, and then charge a fee to those who want their photo taken down. The phenomenon prompted California’s attorney general to charge one of the biggest operators with extortion, money laundering, and identity theft.

That contributes to Americans making an unfair association between people of color and crime, Scott said.

“This is just one small step but we hope this will be something that others might consider doing as well,” he said.

Over 90 people who were part of a wedding at a Patna village have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The 30-year-old groom, a software engineer in Gurugram, had died two days after tying the knot.

He was, however, cremated without being tested for Covid-19 even though he was symptomatic.

After the district administration in Patna was informed of the groom’s death at a village in Paliganj, 50 km from Patna, close relatives of the couple were tested. As many as 15 people who had attended the wedding celebrations on June 15 tested positive.

The administration, which was sent into a tizzy, then began contact tracing. On Monday, 80 more people tested positive for novel coronavirus -- making it possibly the first case of mass spread of coronavirus in Bihar.

The Patna administration, however, could not test the deceased groom for Covid-19 as his family had cremated him without informing the authorities.

As per police sources, the 30-year-old groom returned to his village Deehpali on May 12 for his wedding. During this period, he developed symptoms of Covid-19 but the family went ahead with the wedding.

Two days after the wedding, his health deteriorated and he died as he was being taken to AIIMS, Patna.

After district administration was made aware of the death of the 30-year-old, Covid-19 tests were conducted for all the guests who had attended the wedding. While 95 testes positive, the Covid test of the bride came negative.

The administration has said there was massive violation of guidelines by the family who went ahead with the wedding despite the groom showing symptoms of Covid-19.

The administration also noted how social distancing norms were not followed as only 50 people are allowed to attend any wedding ceremony.

Heistheartist is an American Christian singer-songwriter from Central Islip, NY. Formerly a secular neo-soul singer signed to "Bentley Records" under his biological name "LeeMann Bassey," Heistheartist discovered that his true calling was with the Lord after hearing an inspiring sermon by TD Jakes online one day. That day he was inspired to teach the world about the Lord like TD Jakes did with his Sermon, but through music.

And that has been his mission since that day. To let the word come through him and his music, while still adding a twist within his creativity that has his music blurring the genre lines, as people can't help but feel it to their soul. His latest single "Boom"has been quickly gaining popularity, and after a listen it is easy to see why. You can feel the emotion in it. Heistheartist describes the new singles direction as;
"

Boom” is actually based on a dream that I had one night In which I had relations with an angel. It’s a song that mixes sensuality with religion blended together smoothly"

And Heisartist delivers that with his warm tone and vibrant vocal presence. Accompanying the release of the single is a simple yet powerful music video. Shot professionally while capturing moments of true love between many different couples. That exact moment when each person is looking as if their significant other is the angel who saved them. Perfectly matching his creation in a stunning metaphoric visual. The song will lift your spirit and the video will steal your heart.

Heistheartist also included “Boom (Love Version)” in the marketing of the song. (The Love Version) is the non-religious version of the song. This version was made so anybody can relate to the message of the song regardless of their religious background. And if you enjoy that version, you'll enjoy the original as well.

Keep Up with the releases and growth of Heistheartist @
