With the release of The Big 10 mixtape 50 Cent officially hit the reset button. Moving forward the Queens, New Yorker is going to be grinding like he doesn't have a record deal. It's great news for fans who want to hear as much music from 50 as possible, but for the G-Unit general it also has to do with the legacy his body of work will leave behind.

For real, moving forward, everything I do has to be the highest quality possible,” he told XXL. “I’m gonna mix and master everything. Em used to do that. He would mix and master vocals [for mixtapes]. I’d be like ‘what are you doing?’ It takes me 30 mins to make the record, put it out and I’m done. Now, I don’t want to anything out there to not be the best performance I can have because I can’t take it back. For me, it’s not about actual record sales. I want everything I leave behind to be my best effort. I’m gonna keep raising the bar.”

In addition to the recent signings of DJ Pauly D, Lea, Genasis, Shawty Lo and Kidd Kidd, 50 has inked an artist in female emcee Paris that he can really relate to. They both come from the mean streets of Southside Jamaica Queens. He has high expectations for the newcomer, just as he does for himself and the rest of the G-Unit/G-Note roster.

Her tape is to come out shortly after [Big 10]. She’s been working quietly for a long time before I said I wanted to sign her," 50 said. "She’s from Queens, she’s from Southside. It’s easier for me… The element for me, the material I really understand. I know everybody in a part of the story she’s telling. I’ve known her [for a while].

He goes on to explain that he took his time in signing her while he allowed her to further develop her craft, but now she is more than ready to take on the industry.

She didn’t have what she has now,” 50 says, explaining why Paris wasn't signed sooner. “I think the material she has is better than what’s out now.

The numbers are in and by all accounts Lil Wayne's 'I Am Still Music' tour was a huge success. According to MTV the U.S. leg which kicked off March 18 in Buffalo, New York and hit 60 cities before winding down September 11 in The Woodlands, Texas grossed $47 million dollars.

The tour also included dates in Canada, Australia, South Africa and Fiji.

For so many years, critics have claimed that hip hop tours would never be successful. Lil Wayne has put the nail in the coffin of that idea,” said Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant. “2011 has seen Lil Wayne further cement his status as a headline arena artist in the US & Canada. The I Am Still Music run exceeded our own expectations. The amount of tickets he sold in both primary and secondary markets across the country was phenomenal and we are now focusing on the expansion of his global success.”

YMCMB plans to build on the tour's success by keeping it going into 2012.

One of our goals for Wayne’s touring business at the start of this cycle was to expand his reach outside of North America. We feel there is a huge opportunity to build Wayne into a true global touring force,” adds Shawn Gee, Wayne’s tour manager. “We recently completed a string of dates in Australia and South Africa where Wayne played in stadiums, with Eminem, in Melbourne in front of 65,000 fans and arenas in Johannesburg and Capetown. In 2012 we plan to build on this international success and tour Europe and South America to further expand his global reach.”

Jennifer Aniston has been crowned the Sexiest Woman of All Time by Men's Health Magazine. The 42-year old former "Friends" star beat out beauties such as Marilyn Monroe (No. 3), Britney Spears (No. 4), Madonna (No. 5), Angelina Jolie (No. 10), Scarlett Johansson (No. 12). Megan Fox (No. 14), Shakira (No. 18), Kim Kardashian (No. 26), Beyonce (No. 33), Halle Berry (No. 35) and Pam Grier (No. 57).

Two porn stars even made the list. Jenna Jameson placed 49th, while Sasha Grey sits at No. 85.

So what separated Jennifer from the rest of the pack? Her sense of humor and her ability to remain "real" according to the publication.

Funny is sexy, and Jennifer Aniston is funny—she was invited to join Saturday Night Live before her big break with Friends. Her down-to-earth persona makes her seem attainable, and anyone who's seen her in Office Space has to admit she makes even pieces of flair look good. She rarely plays the airhead, and she seldom overplays a role: she's funny in a quiet, refreshingly human way. And her all-too-human love life off screen inspires sympathy that not even a string of bland romantic comedies can diminish. Other sex symbols drift toward one-dimensionality, becoming flat icons in the process, but throughout her career Aniston has remained sexy, funny, and unmistakably real.

The Roots "undun" [Short Film]

12349137884?profile=original

Video After The Jump

The Roots drop a new short film to coincide with the release of their latest album undun. The film is actually the four Clifton Bell directed videos for “Sleep,” “Stomp,” “Tip The Scale” and “Make My” pieced together to tell the story of a fictional character the album is based on.

undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford's internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out 'on the corner'. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented--postmortem--and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun.

undun is in stores now.

J. Cole had a breakout year in 2011. The Roc Nation artist dropped his solo album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, which has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The only thing that could make his year sweeter for Cole would be if he wins the Grammy for Best New Artist.

Cole has stiff competition. He's up against Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver, The Band Perry and Skrillex, but in his bosses mind he's already won.

"I think it's great for him, because I'm sure it's a dream of his. We grew up seeing Michael Jackson, and I'm sure he grew up seeing whatever moment stuck in his mind, so I know it's great for him to do that," Hov told MTV News. "I think he's already won Best New Artist, to me. His journey is what I'm really excited about. The person he is today is not who he was when he first walked in. He got a chance to really go out, see what worked, see what people connect to, figure out how he was gonna tell his story."

Hov added that Cole is an example of how a young artist should be brought into the business. He doesn't think enough labels spend the time to develop their artists properly before releasing their projects.

"That artist-development thing, I think we need more of it," Jay said. "We need to ensure that this thing is around for future generations. This thing that fed our kids and our family and took us to these heights needs to be held intact by the people who are doing it. Whether he was nominated or not, he was the best new artist to me; sold 200-and-something-thousand records in his first week; he was the best new artist. I'm sure it's great for him."

Do you think J. Cole should win the Grammy for Best New Artist? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lindsay Lohan's $1 million dollar Playboy spread has piqued the interest of 50 Cent.

The G-Unit boss was attending the 1st annual American Giving Awards in Los Angeles on Friday (December 9) when Hollywood Scoop caught up with him. The subject of Lindsay's new photo spread came up and fif was more than happy to engage in a conversation about her private parts.

"I haven't seen it. But I always wondered what Lindsay's cooch looked like. Ever thought about it? I'll check it out and see what happens,” 50 said.

When he found out Hugh Hefner coughed up a cool million to get Lindsay to take it all off, Fif wondered if seeing anybody naked was worth that much.

$1 million to pose nude is the same thing strippers do almost every day for way less," he joked. “If they give you a million dollars, does that change the status of what you've done? If I pay a 100 dollars to see a cooch is it the same thing as paying a million dollars when you're a movie star or celebrity? The same transaction? Or is it socially different? Does it register different because of how much?

On a more serious note 50 was asked if there was anyone he looked up to currently.

"I was actually in a meeting with Jimmy Iovine, we were talking about their accomplishments because they sold [Beats by Dre] as a headset company and the success that he's had in music. And we were comparing ourselves to Steve Jobs. We said, 'we have a nice lemonade stand compared to Steve Jobs." he said laughing.

He also revealed what music is playing in his ipod currently.

"New music... The Big 10," he said. "I just released a mixtape. It's a full body of work. It's 11 cuts actually. Technically it's an album, because it's all original material. Everything that's there I reached out to producers and paid them to do the production. I'm excited... I feel the momentum of it."

Fif goes on to talk about his favorite holiday traditions (he likes hanging at his grandmother's), his take on bullying and more.

Fif, if you're still interested in seeing Lindsay's Playboy spread take a look at it HERE

Record executive John Atterberry died Monday (December 12) three days after suffering gunshot wounds when a deranged man went on a shooting rampage in Hollywood, California.

Atterberry, 40, was walking out of a Bank of America at Sunset Blvd and Vine when 26-year old Tyler Brehm walked up to him and shot him in the face and chest. Brehm then walked into the middle of the street and started shooting indiscriminately at cars passing by.

Brehm was shot dead by two plainclothes police officers shortly after shooting Atterberry, who was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he clung to life for 72 hours before passing away Monday.

Atterberry's sister Cynthia left a message on her younger brother's Facebook page mourning his loss.

Today I lost my JOHN, my baby, my guardian angel, my protector, my little brother at 3:00 p.m.

"I do not understand now nor will I ever is why such a senseless act of violence was inflicted upon such a GOD-fearing, kind, compassionate, loving individual," she wrote.

Police still aren't sure what sparked the shooting's, but did say Brehm had recently broken up with his girlfriend.
