Video After The Jump

2 Chainz doesn't give a flying f*ck about Miley Cyrus twerking at the MTV Video Music Awards or Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse so don't bother asking him.

He's more concerned with other rappers biting his style and using his engineer, which prevents him from being able to record.

Ask Tity Boi about the first week sales of his new album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, and you might not like the answer you get.

Video After The Jump

Chris Brown's long simmering feud with Drake could over. On Wednesday (October 2) Chris posted a video on his Facebook page of various people he's been in the studio with in the past. The list included Drake, T-Pain, Justin Bieber, will.i.am, Tyga, Busta Rhymes, Big Sean, Brandy and Lupe Fiasco.

At one point Drake tells Chris that one song in particular is a "big record." Breezy wrote a message indicating that he and the YMCMB rapper were in the studio, according to Billboard and E! Online.

12350374095?profile=original

The "Deuces" singer later deleted the video and message.

The New York Post reports that the two were spotted hanging out together during the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which took place September 21-22.

iheartradio-festival-chris-brown.jpg

“Drake came on Friday with his whole crew, and watched Chris’ entire set,” reads the report.

After Chris' performance he reportedly hung out backstage with Drake. They hugged, had drinks and talked about future collaborations.

This sudden end to their rivalry was orchestrated by Akon's brother, Abou "Bu" Thiam, a VP at Def Jam Records.

Thiam is “very friendly with Drake, and worked to try and get him and Chris together to put their differences aside.” according to the Post.

Brown is currently working on his sixth studio album titled X. It will be released on November 19, via RCA Records.

Do you think the 2 superstars have finally buried the hatchet?

Video And Poll After The Jump

Teyana Taylor is still feuding with Rihanna. She dissed the "Diamonds" singer on Wednesday, October 2, by releasing a couple of twerk videos on the same day Riri dropped he booty popping, pole dancing, eye catching music video for "Pour It Up."

12350376286?profile=original

Teyana obviously wanted to show Rihanna how it's really done. This whole beef started after Rihanna posted a video mocking Teyanna's singing ability.

So we gotta ask. Who twerks what their mama gave them the best? Watch the videos below, take our poll and sound off in the comment section.

50 Cent was a guest on Live with Kelly and Michael this morning. He discussed his son Marquise's upcoming 17th birthday and starring in  Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"They have me playing a character who is a super smart computer wizard. And I was like: 'I'm the toughest person in here,'" the G-Unit mogul joked about playing alongside Stallone and Schwarzenegger. "I spent so much time watching them. They would walk past and I would think, 'That was Rambo.'"

12350197252?profile=original

50 Cent also talked about his new show "Dream School," that he and Jamie Oliver executive produced.

"It's on the Sundance network. I was approached by Jamie Oliver. It was previously a success in the UK, so I wanted to bring this actual project to the U.S.," 50 said. "It's about 15 high school drop-outs that we bring into a new scenario. And it's a dream sequence because they get the chance to graduate based on the credits they receive there."

12350383858?profile=original

Dream School premieres on The Sundance Channel on Monday, October 7 at 10p/9c.

Escape Plan opens in theaters nationwide on October 18.

Video After The Jump

Serial-Killer: “a person who attacks and kills victims one by one in a series of incidents.”  When B-Real, the front-man of the legendary hip hop group Cypress Hill conceptualized his next group effort, he envisioned putting together a team of emcees with the sole purpose of murdering every track and any competition.  The first member he reached out to was fellow West Coast legend Xzibit, known for his brash vocals and hard hitting lyrics.

At the time the two artists were sharing a studio in Los Angeles and were both working with an up and coming emcee by the name of Demrick (formerly known as Young De). While working in the studio the three began collaborating on songs and as Xzibit stated in a recent interview “It was organic and took a natural progression.”

When interviewed in March of 2010 Demrick hinted to the fact that with everyone's schedules it would be some time before hearing a completed Serial Killers project.  The three remained close, continued to work and tour, both independently and together.  Recently B-Real and Xzibit sat down to speak about the project and said that they were both excited that it's finally complete.

With a release date set for Halloween, Oct 31st, the two went on to say that they were confident with the body of work and that it would surprise new and old fans alike.

12350371660?profile=original

With over two decades of hip hop experience, 25 million plus records sold and a worldwide fan-base, B-Real and Xzibit combined their skill and energy along with Demrick's fresh outlook to create an aggressive sound which can only be described by the definition of their name: Serial Killers!

For the first visual, B-Real, Xzibit & Demrick collaborated with Director Matt Alonzo to shoot "First 48".

STAR talks blacks with bad attitudes at the drive-thru, freestyle rapper Mistah F.A.B. wanting $15,000 to return to the game and battle rapper Math Hoffa running scared from QB Black Diamond.

Radio legend Troi Torain (STAR) always delivers hard-hitting objective truth. As a culture critic he is vicious, as a businessman he is relentless, as a luminary he is un-matched.

Video After The Jump

Kendrick Lamar put a lot of rappers on notice when he dropped what could be the verse of the year on Big Sean's song "Control."

The Compton rapper challenged several artists by name, including Drake, when he said he would lyrically "murder you n*ggas."

Drake responded to the verse in several interviews.

"It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me," Drake told Billboard. "That's all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic."

Drake1.jpg

Kendrick has once again jabbed Drizzy with a verse during Top Dawg Entertainment's 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher.

Incorporating the title of Drake's Nothing Was the Same album into his lyrics, K. Dot lets off a round aimed at the Toronto emcee.

“Yeah…and nothing’s been the same since they dropped “Control”/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his Pajama Clothes/ Ha-ha jokes on you, high-five…..I’m bulletproof/ Your sh*ts a never penetrate, pin the tail on the donkey boy you been a fake," Kendrick raps.

Check out a snippet of the verse below and tune in to BET on Tuesday, October 15 at 8 p.m. EST to watch the entire cypher.

Video After The Jump

At one point 50 Cent attempted to take Chief Keef under his wing and teach him the ins and outs of the music industry. In the end the "I Don't Like" rapper decided to do things his own way.

"The Chief Keef project is the 50 Cent project. It's the same project," 50 Cent told Jenny Boom Boom earlier this year. "He's completely influenced by his environment, but that's the nightmare. I actually was attracted to the Chief Keef thing because I was like, I can help him. I know what to do. He didn't listen, so I wouldn't actually offer (what was said) to the general public. To reach out to him and actually talk to him, I did that. He's a man, a young man. My son is a year younger than him. So when I'm talking to him, he don't have to take it. I'm not his father, that's his business."

Keef's producer, Young Chop, gave his opinion on the situation.

12350369859?profile=original

"[Chief Keef] is 17, so he's really not paying attention at this point," Chop told Vlad TV. "He doing what he wanna do. Some of the stuff Keef do, it actually works for him. You can't stop what a person's feeling. Like giving advice. You can give him advice, he might listen or he might don't."

600_1353597646_3a0d5fb27153cba5ca2f41101d71ce2f.jpg

Although Keef didn't listen to what the G-Unit mogul had to say, Young Chop did.

"I had a long conversation with him in the studio," Chop said of his talk with 50. "He was just telling us about the business and how to play it. He was telling us the whole runaround. I found myself running into those problems that he was saying and I found my way to get out of them. Because I was really listening, paying attention. 50 Cent, he a cool dude."

Chop goes on to give his take on the "Hate Being Sober" video shoot. 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa showed up, but Keef didn't.

Listen to what Chop has to say below.

50 Cent has proven time after time that he genuinely cares about those in need. From his SK Energy and SMS Audio initiatives to help feed the hungry, to visiting his old Queens neighborhood to promote fitness and healthy living to the youth, paying for the funeral procession earlier this year of 14-year-old D’aja Robinson, who was killed by a bullet as she rode the bus, his free "40 Day" concert in Queens, September 2009, teaming with Bette Middler in 2008 to open the Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson Community Garden in Queens and much more.

50 Cent Collaborates with Bette Midler

50 Cent and Bette Midler

"I called and nagged him," Midler told People at the time. "His G-Unity Foundation gives a million dollars away every year in grants to non profits all over the city ... They're just brilliant."

Rapper 50 Cent returns to Queens to host a day filled with healthy snacks and fun outdoor activities.

Forever Young Day: 50 Cent In Queens, New York, June 2010, promoting fitness and healthy eating

The G-Unit Mogul has now found another way to give back through "Dream School," a new show on the Sundance Channel he executive produces along with Jamie Oliver.

The show focuses on helping youth dealing with poverty, violence, dropping out of school and other issues

50 has become an advocate for Alan, a transgender boy who was born a girl.

12350373892?profile=original

Alan

"My names Alan, but I was born Alyssa. I'm transgender. I had long black hair and actually wore makeup every day. I thought that's what I was supposed to do," Alan says. "I started realizing that I felt different when I was in middle school, when I was hitting puberty. I would bind my chest down and try to pass as a boy. That was because I felt like a guy and I wanted people to see me as a guy. I got good grades. I was on honor roll. And once the bullying started that all stopped. I didn't want to go to school. I can't remember the last time I went to school. I honestly can't say that feel safe in school."

10061999766_c88759f8d0_b.jpg

Alyssa before he became known as Alan.

Through some of the lyrics in his songs, 50 Cent, developed the reputation as someone who didn't like gay people, but he says that couldn't be further from the truth.

“I don’t have homophobia. I never did,” he told The WrapWhen you actually make music that mirrors the environment, you use the terminology. You use the language. Like if you were making a painting, and you were painting the American flag, if I told you to do that, and not use red, not use the harsh terms or the tougher messages, you would never successfully paint the flag.”

50-cent-tb.jpg

“I would use the terminology that would be going around. My grandfather may say terms — people may actually say terms based on their experiences that were happening at that point. … You’ve got people that would call some people a redneck, or some people n—-. It’s the term of that time or that period. They’re not necessarily racist, but they’ve heard those terms used around them, and they use them," 50 adds.

"Dream School" will have celebrity teachers like Soledad O’Brien, Suze Orman, Oliver Stone, Swizz Beatz, Jeff Corwin, David Arquette, Jesse Jackson and more.

The show premieres Monday October 7th at 10/9c.

For more information about the program and see videos visit the Sundance Channel's website.
