In this clip, Lord Jamar gave his take on Nas' latest release, Nasir. He gave it a solid review and said that it's an example of how rappers over the age of 40 are redefining the age limits originally placed on hip-hop. Lord Jamar and Vlad debated about different aspects of Nas' album, particularly the beat selection with Vlad maintaining his stance that Nas is a horrible beat picker. Later, the two discussed where Kanye fits in the all-time hip-hop producer category, and whether it was accurate to compare Nasir to JAY-Z's 4:44.

(Houston Chronicle) While Carmelo Anthony’s former team finishes off the details to set him free, Anthony has already chosen the Rockets to be his next team.
Anthony will sign with the Rockets as a free agent once the trade to the Hawks is complete and he clears waivers, the New York Times reported on Monday, a decision widely expected since the Thunder chose to end their experiment with Anthony after one season.
The Thunder have not completed the trade while the 76ers, the third team involved in the deal, seeks an additional trade that they would need to complete first.
The Rockets have been confident that they would sign Anthony after several years trying since meeting with him in Las Vegas this month, individuals familiar with the team’s thinking said at the time. The Thunder also granted permission to the Miami Heat to meet with Anthony.
The Rockets tried to sign Anthony as a free agent in 2014 and to trade for him last summer when he agreed to waive his no-trade clause to facilitate a trade to the Rockets.

Tekashi69 is telling a different story to cops than the one that was previously reported about his kidnapping, according to TMZ.
The rapper told police he was the passenger in a Chevy Tahoe at around 4:45AM in Brooklyn, when a car bumped them from behind. 2 gunmen jumped out, took the Tahoe driver's iPhone and forced 6ix9ine to go with them.
They took him to his home and called someone inside (presumably his girlfriend), who brought out his jewelry.
Afterwards, Tekashi managed to get away and called the cops, but then became uncooperative. He then checked himself into the hospital. Police aren't sure how he was injured.
In the story that was initially reported, 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, was allegedly kidnapped from in front of his home by three masked men.
Some people on social media are speculating that this might be a publicity stunt, given the fact that Tekashi, 22, just released a new single titled "FEFE" featuring Nicki Minaj.
"So Tekashi robbed, beaten, and kidnapped the same day he drops a single with Nicki Minaj? Something smells like shit in here," one Twitter user wrote.
If the story is legit we wish Tekashi a speedy recovery.
