Kevin Gates made headlines recently when he revealed that he had a two year relationship with his own cousin.
"N*ggas be talking 'bout, 'yeah, y'all look like brother and sister." Sh*t no... I'm f*cking the sh*t out of her. Come to find out she my cousin, but I ain't 'bout to stop f*cking with her," Kevin says in a video. "The p*ssy good and we click. I ain't grow up with you knowing you was my people. You mean to tell me if you been f*cking with somebody for three months. Everything beautiful, and your grandmother come tell you one day, 'you know that's your cousin?' Y'all done got the hard part out the way. Why f*ck up a good thing?
During an interview with VladTV, Queens, New York rapper N.O.R.E. checked out Gates' interview and sounded off on the Louisiana native's views.
"I know n*ggas that will f*ck their cousins," N.O.R.E. said. "The south is different. In New York City that sh*t is rare. But in the south, if that's your second cousin they don't really look like their family to them. I'm just keeping it a hunnid with you. Am I saying what he's doing is OK? Not really. Am I saying what he's doing is wrong? Not really."
What's your take on Kevin Gates smashing his cousin?

The Muskogee, Oklahoma Police Department has placed an officer on paid administrative leave following a shooting that left a suspect dead.
Officer Chansey McMillin pulled into a church parking lot to confront 21-year-old Terence D. Walker after getting a domestic abuse call. McMillan, a Texas native, had traveled to Oklahoma to retrieve items from his ex-girlfriend's home. He allegedly threatened her by saying he "had a bullet with her name it."
McMillan confronts Walker in the Old Agency Baptist Church parking lot. He starts to pat the suspect down. At that point Walker starts running, exiting the parking lot and heading down a street.
Walker stops to pick up something before continuing to run. McMillan then fires five shots, hitting Walker three times, killing him.
The entire incident is caught on just released footage from McMillan's body camera. The church's pastor appears and begs the officer to stop shooting so he can check on Walker. The officer tells him he won't shoot anymore and commands him to move back.
A loaded gun was retrieved from Walker's body.
The pastor later says that McMillin “followed procedures” and that “he did everything right.” It's the second shooting McMillan has been involved in within the last six months.

He was cleared in the July shooting of knife wielding stabbing suspect Angel Cerda. Cerda recovered from his wounds.
What's your take on this latest use of deadly force by the police on a citizen?

Lawyers for Lil Wayne and Birdman had been in settlement talks in an attempt to avoid an all out legal war between the rapper and the man he once considered to be a father figure. TMZ reports that negotiations have broken down and the battle is now headed to court.
Wayne says he's owed an $8 million advance from his last album, I Am Not a Human Being II. In addition to the financial debt, the "Lollipop" hit maker believes Cash Money Records has violated the terms of his contract by not releasing Tha Carter V. He and his lawyers will ask a judge to free him from his contract immediately.
Wayne plans to release all of his future recordings outside of Cash Money. A big question that has not been addressed is how this will affect Young Money artists Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and others.

Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors stamped his name in the NBA record book Friday, January, 23, with an incredible display of shooting against the Sacramento Kings.
The 24-year old, 6'8" shooting guard went off for 37 points in the third quarter to break the previous record of 33 points in a quarter, shared by George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony.
The entire Sacramento team managed to put in only 22 points in the same quarter.
Thompson poured in points in every way possible on 13-of-13 shooting. He drained 3-pointers, drove the lane, dunked and hit free throws. For the game he set a new career high with 52 points.
The crowd in Oakland cheered and watched in awe as Klay put on a show for the ages.
"They just kept wanting to see the show," Thompson said, according to the Oakland Tribune. "That's what they kept telling me. It's kind of a blur. I wish I could go back and enjoy it tomorrow, but moments like that, the best ones go by really fast. It's something I'll never forget and hopefully tell my grandkids about one day."
"As many spectacular things as Michael (Jordan) did, which he did nightly, I never saw him do that," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who won three NBA championships playing with Jordan. "It was reminiscent of Michael because it's sort of otherworldly."

Comedian Mike Epps posted what he thought was a funny photo on Instagram, but not everyone is laughing.
The photo shows Epps whipping white slaves while they pick cotton. Martin Luther King Jr. can be seen smiling down at the scene from Heaven.
Epps has since removed the photo after catching flack. Do you think it was offensive or funny?
**UPDATE**
Welp, that didn't take long. Epps was contacted by TMZ and issued an apology for the photo. It was sent to him by one of his nephews. It made him laugh, so he posted it.
"I didn't mean no harm. If I offended anybody I'm sorry," Epps said. "I'm a comic, man. And I crack jokes sometimes, but I didn't mean to offend nobody."
