FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — A jury on Wednesday ruled in favor of Johnny Depp in his libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, vindicating his stance that Heard fabricated claims that she was abused by Depp before and during their brief marriage.
The jury also found in favor of Heard, who said she was defamed by Depp’s lawyer when he called her abuse allegations a hoax.
Jury members found Depp should be awarded $15 million in damages, while Heard should receive $2 million.
The verdicts bring an end to a televised trial that Depp had hoped would help restore his reputation, though it turned into a spectacle of a vicious marriage. Fans — overwhelmingly on Depp’s side — lined up overnight to grab a seat in the courtroom. Spectators who couldn’t get in lined up on the street to cheer Depp and jeer Heard whenever either appeared outside.
Depp sued Heard for libel in Fairfax County Circuit Court over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” His lawyers said he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A grand jury on Wednesday charged the white 18-year-old accused of fatally shooting 10 Black people at a Buffalo supermarket with domestic terrorism motivated by hate and 10 counts of first-degree murder.
Payton Gendron, who has been in custody since the May 14 shooting, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Erie County Court.
The 25-count indictment also contains charges of murder and attempted murder as a hate crime and weapons possession.
Gendron had previously been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting, which also injured three people. He has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors told a judge May 20 the grand jury had voted to indict Gendron but was continuing its investigation.
Federal authorities also are investigating the possibility of hate crime charges against Gendron, who apparently detailed his plans and his racist motivation in hundreds of pages of writings he posted online shortly before the shooting. The attack was livestreamed from a helmet-mounted camera.
Gendron drove about three hours from his home in Conklin, New York, intending to kill as many Black people as possible, investigators have said.
His attorney, Brian Parker, said he had not seen the indictment and could not comment, adding that prosecution and defense attorneys have been barred by a judge from discussing the case publicly.
Master P's family is grieving the loss of his daughter, Tytyana Miller, and cops are working to determine exactly how she died, with initial evidence suggesting it was an overdose.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... drug paraphernalia was found at the scene of Tytyana's death, indicating it might have killed her ... but there were no substances present on the scene.
We're told the autopsy has been completed, but toxicology results will take several weeks.
As we've reported with other cases, fentanyl has been a silent killer in many OD deaths. Our law enforcement sources tell us there's no evidence right now it's connected to Tytyana's death -- but if it shows up in toxicology, we're told LAPD investigators will go into overdrive to find out who supplied the drugs.
As we reported, Master P made the devastating announcement he'd lost Tytyana over the holiday weekend. While he and his family are mourning, Master P tells TMZ ... "The only way that we are going to heal and grow from this is with the truth. It has been a long and painful journey for our family, my daughter has been battling with this since 2015. Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue and we hope to turn this tragedy into a testimony."
He adds, "As a father, I have always established parameters to protect my children. Unfortunately, when they become adults, they have the legal right to choose who to have relationships with whether healthy or unhealthy."
Tytyana's brother, Romeo Miller, also posted a heartfelt message about his sister, saying, "We appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support, and although this is sad times, I'm forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister."
Amazingly, even as he grieves, Master P is thinking about other families in the same situation -- "I put my faith and trust in God, I realize that no person is exempt from pain or death. Every day families are dealing with the loss of their loved ones due to mental illness and substance abuse. I have committed to invest my time, resources and passion to help other families affected by these same issues. Our healing process will not end in grief, we will celebrate my daughter's life. Tytyana was inspiring, uplifting, artistic and a loving person who deeply cared for others."
Tytyana was one of Master P's 4 daughters ... she was only 29.

‘Mumbling so F U then’ is easily the freshest and most innovative hip hop song in the past few years
Cameron Park, CA —David Charles Kramer and Rhiannon Lee Kramer are DJ Buddy Holly and DJ Bathsheba respectively, and they are co-writers and co-producers on their latest single, titled ‘Mumbling so F U then’. In an atmosphere as saturated and repetitive as the music industry today, it is very rare that budding artists inspire a wave of revival within the sphere of hip hop, but DJ Buddy and DJ Bathsheba are taking the world by storm with their exceptional vocals, guitar skills, and ultimately, production quality.
What makes their music stand out from the other uninspired and repetitive artists in the industry today is their diligent effort to focus on upgrading the sound by giving attention and time to the style of hip hop. Having clarity of vision, DJ Buddy Holly and DJ Bathsheba are extremely aware of the brand of hip hop they want to create, and so they let their tunnel vision guide their musical abilities to produce original, inventive, and innovative music.
Also ensuring that they keep a personal touch in their lyricism, the budding DJs also mention how they met on October 29th, 2018, at a Starbucks in Cameron Park, CA, and now have a baby girl named Leona together, and a son to be named Eli on the way. Because of this, and because of the fact that their delegation of tasks and responsibilities is excellent and inspired. Los Angeles, CA — May 7th, 2022- Johnnathan “F.I.S.T” Edwards is a 51-year-old rising star who has been producing music for the last 20 years. The eclectic artist’s passion for music has propelled him to assume many roles such as that of an Artist, DJ, producer, and engineer, willfully mastering all facets of the craft with efficiency.
Some of the most notable music produced by F.I.S.T includes “Disconnected…Remixed”, “Soundtrack 4 Sex…Remixed”, “Back At It Again”, “Unapologetic: My Journey Continues…”, and “70s House Party!!!” all of which cover a myriad of different emotions with versatility and innovation. It is in line with this tendency to produce all forms of music that the artist has decided to remix, remaster, and re-release his previous albums, his crowning feature of the music so far produced.

This reflective process of being cognizant of the musical masterpieces of the past and the learnings from the present produce music like none other.
Johnnathan himself is currently re-mixing, re-recording, and remastering all the previous albums, which have been produced starting with the re-release of “Disconnected…Remixed” which was originally released two years ago on the 13rd of March. Alongside remixing already made music, the artist is currently working on album #6. F.I.S.T is currently working on making a few road-trip appearances and on acquiring a couple of music videos.
Both the relatability in lyrics and the catchy tunes within the music continue to allure listeners and garner fans. F.I.S.T’s use of multiple genres of music such as Dance, Funk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rap, and Rock alongside incredible use of beats and remixes are a breath of fresh air in an industry mired with repetitive music.

BOLIVIA, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina man who won a $10 million lottery prize in 2017 has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the 2020 fatal shooting of his girlfriend.
Michael Todd Hill, 54, of Leland, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced Friday in the killing of 23-year-old Keonna Graham of Navassa. Graham was reported missing on July 20, 2020. She was later found dead in a hotel with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
In a news release from the 15th Prosecutorial District of North Carolina, prosecutors said surveillance footage from the hotel showed Hill was the only person in the room with Graham. They said Hill later confessed to shooting Graham after she had been texting with other men while at the hotel.
Hill won $10 million from a scratch-off ticket in August 2017.

With headstrong, relentless, and uncompromising verses, talented Rapper KG is taking leaps in the Hip Hop world
Boston, MA — June 12th, 2022- For some who try their luck in the Hip Hop world, making music is more than just getting streams, hits, and views. Rather, composing a track defines them and becomes a source of letting them share their emotions in a spectacular fashion. One such artist is KG, a rapper from Boston, who is winning hearts one track at a time.
Motivated by the rough patches in life that kept pulling him down, KG took it upon himself to ink his own life story. Recalling how writing lyrics and recording became his “outlet”, the dynamic artist notes how his music is setting him apart from rappers who add no meaning to their craft.
For KG, music has always acted as a medium of expression, a motivation to get through the hardest of times, in search of the light at the end of the tunnel. His verses and rhythms became his strongest ally and intensified a passion for finding his own raw and authentic voice.
Luckily for the young artist, audiences have been resonating with his story. KG’s musical records and singles, such as “Hood Cry”, “Party Time”, “Nemesis”, “Winner”, and “Trophy” have already accumulated an increasingly high number of streams. “Hood Cry” alone has garnered more than 26,000 streams on Spotify, propelling the singer-songwriter to new heights.
Visit KG’s official website to check out his music and stream his tracks on Spotify! Make sure to follow the artist on social media for updates on new drops and reach out to KG through email for interviews, reviews, and collaboration opportunities.

DALLAS (AP) — Jeff Gladney, a defensive back for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, died Monday in a car crash in Dallas. He was 25.
Gladney’s death was confirmed by the Cardinals and his agent.
“We are devastated to learn of Jeff Gladney’s passing. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who are mourning this tremendous loss,” the team said.
The crash occurred on the service road of Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Dallas. Another person also died.
The Dallas County sheriff’s department said no one was available on the Memorial Day holiday to talk about the crash.
Gladney played at TCU before becoming a 2020 first-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings. He played in 16 games that year but was released before the 2021 season, when he was charged with assaulting a woman.
Gladney was found not guilty in Dallas County, Texas, in March and was subsequently signed by the Cardinals. He participated in team drills last week.
“We are asking prayers for the family and privacy at this most difficult time,” agent Brian Overstreet said.
FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — A 10-year-old Florida fifth grade student has been arrested after making a school threat.
Investigators learned of the threats made by the boy on Saturday & arrested him, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in a social media post.
“This student’s behavior is sickening, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas,” the sheriff said.
An 18-year-old gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday & opened fire on a fourth grade classroom, killing 19 students & 2 teachers.
Marceno said that making sure “our children are safe is paramount.”
Investigators learned of a threatening text message sent by the boy, who attended Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral.
“We will have law & order in our schools! My team didn’t hesitate one second…NOT ONE SECOND, to investigate this threat,” Marceno said.
He said the school threat enforcement team was notified & began analytical research on the threat. Detectives then interviewed the boy & developed probable cause for his arrest.
The boy was charged with making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting.
“Right now is not the time to act like a little delinquent. It’s not funny. This child made a fake threat & now he’s experiencing real consequences,” the sheriff said.
In a YouTube video, the sheriff’s office showed a deputy walking to the boy to a squad car.
Sheriff’s officials did not say whether the boy remained in a juvenile facility or was released to his parents.
