A couple in Oxford, Georgia, has been arrested after authorities allegedly discovered they produced homemade child sexual abuse material with at least 1 adopted child who lived with them.
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office said they raided a Loganville home on July 27 after receiving a tip about someone who may have been downloading child pornography.
After interviewing the unidentified suspect, who admitted to collecting child porn, police allegedly learned of another individual in the county who was "producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home."
Detectives collected evidence confirming that the second suspect engaged in sexually abusive acts against the children & documented the acts on video.
Police executed a search & arrest warrant that same night at a home in Oxford & arrested Zachary Zulock & William Zulock, adoptive fathers of a pair of brothers.
The men each face charges of aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of children & enticing a child for indecent purposes. William Zulock has an additional charge of child molestation.
The couple is being held at the Walton County Jail.
The children are now safe, according to officials. The incident remains an active investigation.

BOSTON (AP) — A former dean at a Boston high school known affectionately by students as “Rev” has been ordered by a federal judge to pay more than $10 million in damages to a former student he was convicted of trying to kill in a dispute over drug sales.
The default judgment Friday against former English High School Dean Shaun Harrison includes $7.5 million in damages for pain, suffering & emotional distress; $2.5 million in punitive damages & more than $80,000 for the victim’s medical bills.
Harrison was convicted in state court in 2018 of assault & other charges & sentenced to up to 26 years in prison.
Harrison, who had a background as a community organizer and youth minister, was dean of academics, a job that required keeping order and mentoring students.
But he was leading a double life. He had ties to the violent Latin Kings gang, recruited students to sell drugs for him & kept a gun at his apartment.
The victim, who had been recruited by Harrison to sell weed, was 17 when he was shot in the back of the head at point-blank range in Boston in March 2015.
The bullet barely missed the victim’s brain stem & carotid artery, but shattered his jaw. He underwent 2 surgeries, had his jaw wired shut for 9 months, remains paralyzed on half of his face, suffers from facial neuropathy, hearing loss & requires weights on his eyelids to help with opening & shutting his eyes. He continues to experience pain from the bullet that remains lodged in his head & developed an addiction to opioids prescribed for the pain.
It’s unclear whether the victim will ever get any money from Harrison.
BELDEN, Miss (AP) — A Mississippi man said his pet cat helped prevent a robbery at his home & he credits the calico with possibly saving his life.
Bandit, a 20-pound cat, lives with her retired owner Fred Everitt in the Tupelo suburb of Belden. When at least two people tried to break into their shared home last week, the cat did everything she could to alert Everitt of the danger.
“You hear of guard dogs,” said Everitt, 68. “This is a guard cat.”
The attempted robbery occurred sometime between 2:30 and 3 a.m. on July 25, Everitt said. He was first awoken by Bandit’s meows in the kitchen. Then, she raced into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed & began pulling the comforter off of him and clawing at his arms. Everitt knew something was wrong.
“She had never done that before,” Everitt said. “I went, ‘What in the world is wrong with you?’"
Everitt got up to investigate & saw 2 young men outside his back door. One had a handgun, and the other was using a crowbar to try & pry the door open.
Everitt said by the time he retrieved a handgun & returned to the kitchen, the would-be intruders had already fled.
He said the situation could have been different without Bandit.
“It did not turn into a confrontational situation, thank goodness,” Everitt said. “But I think it’s only because of the cat.”
Everitt adopted Bandit from the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society 4 years ago.
10 people, including 3 children, were killed when a house went up in flames in Pennsylvania early Friday morning. 3 adults survived the fire & a criminal investigation is ongoing.
Authorities responded to the 2-story home in Nescopeck at 2:42 a.m. local time & learned that although 3 people had made it out, there were others trapped inside, according to state police.
Several responding agencies & K9 units located the victims inside of the home.
State police identified them as: Dale Baker, 19; Star Baker, 22; David Daubert, 79; Brian Daubert, 42; Shannon Daubert, 45; Laura Daubert, 47; and Marian Slusser, 54. Three juveniles also died — they were identified as a 7-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy & a 5-year-old boy.
Nescopeck Volunteer Fire Co. firefighter Harold Baker told the Citizens' Voice newspaper of Wilkes-Barre that the 10 victims included his son, daughter, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, 3 grandchildren & 2 other relatives.
Baker said that the address initially given for the call was a neighboring home, but that he realized it was his family's residence as the fire truck approached.
Neighbors reported hearing a loud popping sound or explosion, before seeing the front porch of the home rapidly consumed by flames. Some also reported hearing a young man screaming in front of the home, "They're all dead."
Baker, who was relieved of his firefighting duties because of his relationship to the victims, said 14 people were living in the home. One of them was out delivering newspapers & 3 others escaped.

Aug 5 (Reuters) - U.S. conspiracy theorist Alex Jones must pay the parents of a 6-year-old boy killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre $45.2 million in punitive damages - on top of $4.1 million in compensatory damages already awarded - for falsely claiming the shooting was a hoax, a Texas jury decided on Friday.
Neil Heslin & Scarlett Lewis, separated parents of slain 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, testified that followers of Jones harassed them & sent them death threats for years in the false belief that they were lying about their son's death in the Dec. 14, 2012, shooting that killed 20 children & 6 staff at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
The 12-person jury on Thursday decided on the compensatory damages following a 2-week trial in the defamation lawsuit.
The parents had sought $145.9 million in punitive damages and $150 million in compensatory damages. Compensatory damages are awarded to cover a plaintiff's suffering & losses. Punitive damages are awarded to punish a defendant's actions.
The Sandy Hook gunman, Adam Lanza, used a Remington Bushmaster rifle to carry out the massacre. It ended when Lanza killed himself with the approaching sound of police sirens.
Jones, who has been a prominent figure in American right-wing circles & a supporter of Donald Trump, had called the Sandy Hook massacre a hoax by the U.S. government staged using crisis actors to serve as a pretext for taking away Americans' guns.
"We ask that you send a very, very simple message & that is: stop Alex Jones. Stop the monetization of misinformation and lies," Wesley Todd Ball, a lawyer for the parents, told jurors earlier on Friday before they began deliberations on punitive damages.
