A legal battle between rapper/producer and Tha Dogg Pound member, Daz Dillinger, and BMG publishing is delaying the release of the highly anticipated Tupac Shakur biopic, "All Eyez on Me."
TMZ reports the issue is over who owns the rights to "Ambitionz Az a Ridah."
Daz produced the song, which appears on Tupac's 1996 "All Eyez on Me" album, and believes it's his call whether or not the tune can be used in the film.
BMG has thrown up a legal stop sign, insisting only they can green light the song's use, leading to the current stalemate.
The movie's release date has been pushed back from September to November, while the two parties try to sort this out.
This isn't the first time Daz and BMG have had issues. The rapper sued them in April, claiming they owe him more than $75,000 in royalties.

Super producer Mike Will Made-It just significantly raised the bar for expectations of Gucci Mane's forthcoming album titled "Everybody Looking," due out July 22.
During a new interview with The Fader, Mike said fans should prepare themselves to hear something that sonically hasn't been accomplished since 50 Cent's 2003 debut album.
"I feel like that's what this album is. This is a classic hip-hop album. I haven't really [heard] an album that felt this good since Get Rich Or Die Trying," Mike says. "That's what everybody searching for. Me and Gucci had certain references that we were talking about with this album: All Eyez On Me, The Chronic. He mentioned Layin Da Smack Down by Project Pat. We were just talking about different, solid albums. And we was like, “We gotta bring that solid album of today.” It has to be somebody that's gon elevate this trap sound, this down South rap shit right now. Everybody's doing their thing, but elevate it in a different way.
"When you hear the album you'll understand," the producer continued. "It just sound all the way new. It don't sound remotely like nothing else that's going on. But it still sounds like classic Gucci. It don't sound like he changed up or he's chasing a sound or he's trying to change. But bar for bar, he's just snapping. Bar for bar, bar for bar, bar for bar, bar for bar."
We'll find out in exactly one week.

DJ Drama is gearing up to release his new album titled "Quality Street Music 2" on July 22.
During a recent conversation with HHNM he talks about getting Lil Wayne on the project, it's producers, Troy Ave, 50 Cent and more.
Check out an excerpt from the interview below.
You’ve got plenty of guests on the album this time around as well but tell us something about the intro which features Lil Wayne.
I went to go visit Wayne while he was Tree Sounds during one of his visits. It had been a while since we collaborated on an album. I played him a few records and that was one of them. His eyes widened up upon hearing it and we all thought it represented Quality Street Music to the fullest, the success me and Wayne have had, and what we both have meant to each other’s career. It was only right to start off the album like that, the bars he gave me were amazing. It’s really that mixtape Weezy. From what I do, and where I come from, the beginning and the start is everything so it all made absolute sense to have it as the intro to the album.
So is this like a proper song with hook and everything or it’s just straight bars, like a freestyle?
Straight bars!
Oh that will be exciting. There are rumors that you and Wayne are working on Dedication 6. Can you tell us something about that?
You know, every time we get together, the conversation about Dedication comes up and since people get so excited about the idea, it goes a million miles further. I can say that it will happen. When it’s time for it to happen.
Who are some of the producers you worked with on the album?
I worked with Don Cannon, C4, C-Note, FKi, The Mekanics.
You met Troy Ave with 50 Cent a couple of days ago. How did that go? Is Troy in good spirits?
Yeah, in the best spirits he can be under the situation. We were there to help his spirits out. I went to 50’s office for an interview and I didn’t know he was gonna be there at the same time but I definitely wanted to see how he was doing under the circumstances. He’s good.
Given your good relationship with 50, it was surprising to see him not being featured on the album. What’s up with that?
