Miley Cyrus graces the cover of the latest issue on Notion magazine. The former Hannah Montana star has garnered a lot of attention as of late. The good girl turned twerking queen tells the publication that she is concerned that people are getting the wrong idea about her new outlook on life and music.

"People have this misconception of me that I'm just one of these kids on TV and that now I go off and party and I'm just this ratchet white girl, and I'm not. I work really really hard, I'm just in a different environment."

To read her full interview with Notion you can CLICK HERE to order a copy of this issue. In the meantime check out some of the photos from her shoot with Damien Fry.

BANGKOK — Dunkin’ Donuts has apologized for the “insensitivity” of an advertising campaign in Thailand featuring a woman in blackface makeup to promote a new chocolate flavored doughnut.

The Dunkin’ Donuts franchise in Thailand came under criticism Friday after Human Rights Watch called the advertisements “bizarre and racist.”

The company’s chief executive in Thailand initially defended the campaign, but the U.S. headquarters quickly followed up with an apology.

“We are working with our Thailand franchisee to immediately pull the ad. DD recognizes the insensitivity of this spot,” Dunkin’ Donuts said in a tweet posted on its official U.S. website after complaints erupted on Twitter, in a variety of blogs and in mainstream American media.

The local franchise launched the advertisement earlier this month to promote its new “Charcoal Donut.” In posters, TV commercials and on Facebook, the campaign shows a smiling woman with blackface makeup, bright pink lipstick and a jet black 1950s-style beehive hairdo holding up a bitten black doughnut. The slogan in Thai reads: “Break every rule of deliciousness.”

Critics say the image is reminiscent of 19th and early 20th century American stereotypes for black people that are now considered offensive symbols of a racist era.

The New York-based Human Rights Watch said it was shocked to see an American brand name running an advertising campaign that would draw “howls of outrage” if released in the United States.

“It’s both bizarre and racist that Dunkin’ Donuts thinks that it must color a woman’s skin black and accentuate her lips with bright pink lipstick to sell a chocolate doughnut,” said Phil Robertson, the deputy Asia director for Human Rights Watch. “Dunkin’ Donuts should immediately withdraw this ad, publicly apologize to those it’s offended and ensure this never happens again.”

The campaign hasn’t ruffled many in Thailand, where it’s common for advertisements to inexplicably use racial stereotypes. A Thai brand of household mops and dustpans called “Black Man” uses a logo with a smiling black man in a tuxedo and bow tie. One Thai skin whitening cream runs TV commercials that say white-skinned people have better job prospects than those with dark skin. An herbal Thai toothpaste says its dark-colored product “is black, but it’s good.”

Hours before the apology was issued by Dunkin’ Donuts headquarters, the company’s chief executive in Thailand dismissed the criticism as “paranoid American thinking.”

“It’s absolutely ridiculous,” the CEO Nadim Salhani said in a telephone interview. “We’re not allowed to use black to promote our doughnuts? I don’t get it. What’s the big fuss? What if the product was white and I painted someone white, would that be racist?”

Salhani said that the Thai franchise of Dunkin’ Donuts operates independently of the American operation and that doughnut sales have increased about 50 percent since the campaign was launched around two weeks ago, which he attributed to curiosity about the new advertisements.

“Not everybody in the world is paranoid about racism,” said Salhani, a Lebanese expatriate in Thailand who said his teenage daughter was the model featured in the campaign. “I’m sorry, but this is a marketing campaign, and it’s working very well for us.”

Charlie Baltimore and Trick Trick are teaming up for a mixtape titled Hard to Kill. During their stop by Sway in the Morning to promote the project a fan called in and asked what was the last thing The Notorious B.I.G. said to Charli before he passed away.

It's no secret that Charlie and Biggie were at one point romantically linked. She was in California with him days before his May 9, 1997 shooting death. Baltimore recalls their last encounter.

12349940273?profile=original

"The crazy thing is I left the day before he died. I was actually supposed to be at that [1997 Vibe Magazine] event with him. Basically the last words he said were goodbye," Charlie said. "The kind of eerie part about it is when I left Cali, I had a little job in the mall. And when I went to work that Monday. I believe it was a Saturday when [he was killed]. I had to go up to my job for something, I was pretty distraught. He had sent flowers to my job. It was really weird. And there was a card attached to the flowers. I was shaking when I saw them, so I left the card, I left the flowers. And when I went back to work and someone had stolen the card out of the flowers and I didn't even get the chance to read it. So I don't really know. I wanna say his last words were written, but as far as the actual word he spoke were goodbye."

Lamar Odom's life continues to spiral downward. The NBA player, who is married to Khloe Kardashian, was arrested this morning in California for "driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs"

Odom was stopped in San Fernando Valley for driving too slow on the 101 Freeway--- around 50 MPH. According to police, he was driving in a "serpentine manner."

The 33-year old Queens, New York native passed three exits before responding to commands to pull over. When he exited his white Mercedes, Odom showed obvious signs of intoxication. He subsequently failed all field sobriety tests.

12350335088?profile=original

Odom was arrested around 4 AM and taken to a nearby station, where he was booked, but refused chemical testing. He was released three and a half hours later after posting $15,000 bail.

This latest arrest follows a recent sting of strange behavior for Odom. It was reported recently that he went missing for 72 hours and is battling a crack cocaine addiction.

The player is currently a free agent. He played for the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

He is due back in Van Nuys Municipal Court on Sept. 27th, according to the L.A. Times.

**UPDATE** September 13th.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has officially charged Lamar Odom with driving under the influence, according to the L.A. Times

He is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 27.

Odom has hired former O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Shapiro to represent him. Since Odom refused to take a chemical test at the police station he will lose his driving privileges for a year.

Because this is Odom's first offence he will most likely get probation and have to take an alcohol education course if convicted.

Sean Kingston is dealing with some legal drama today in the wake of a lawsuit that has been filed against him by a woman who claims he and members of his entourage gang raped her.

22-year old Carissa Capeloto, claims she went to Kingston's room for a meet-and-greet in July 2010 after a Justin Bieber concert in which Sean was the opening act.

Capeloto alleges that when she got inside the room, Kingston, was naked on the bed. His bodyguard picked her up and put her on top of the singer. At that point Kingston, the bodyguard and a band member gang raped her while she was "obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent," according to TMZ.

12350332654?profile=original

The police were called to the scene after Capeloto's friend entered the room and rescued her. The teen was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries consistent with rape.

An investigation was launched by authorities and charges against Kingston and his associates were dropped when cops determined Capeloto was not a credible witness.

Capeloto is seeking $5 million from her lawsuit. She says she now has panic attacks, mood swings and her life has been ruined as a result of the incident.

Kingston is fighting back. He's filed legal documents insisting the sex was consensual.

The trial is set for November.
