Rae Sremmurd were performing at the Governor's Ball Music Festival at Randall's Island Park, New York on Friday, June 5, when one of the members sustained a serious injury.

Billboard reports that Slim Jimmy slipped off of a speaker in front of the stage. His thigh was cut open by some glass during the fall.

He was rushed behind the stage where he grabbed the mic and told the audience: "I got a big ass piece of glass in my leg, so if you got that video, put that shit on Instagram."

"This shit is pretty crazy. ... This nigga's leg is like, split open, I'm serious," said his brother and fellow group member Swae Lee.

Slim encouraged Swae to finish the show without him, which he did.

The injured rapper later posted a photo of the gruesome injury on Rae Sremmurd's Instagram page.

"@jxmmis just underwent successful surgery to close his wound after slipping off the speaker at the Governors Ball and falling into a glass spotlight front stage. He didn't break anything and will be fully recovered asap. Jxmmi only had one comment to the fans, #SremmLife," read the caption.

The group is best known for their hit records "No Flex Zone" and "No Type."

Chris Massey has put his lawyers to work, filing a lawsuit against Lil Twist for allegedly physically assaulting him on November 7, 2014.

As we previously reported, Twist, real name Christopher Moore, was at Kyle Massey, Chris' brother's home when there was an argument.

Twist was asked to leave, but later came back later with four friends and forced his way into Kyle's apartment.

TMZ reports that Chris was beaten with brass knuckles, kicked and choked. The actor was treated for bruises and had to get stitches for a cut over his eye. He also claims Twist stole his Rolex watch.

Twist was eventually charged with criminal threats, burglary, grand theft, battery and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, all felonies.

The rapper appeared in court on Friday, June 5. He pleaded not guilty to all six charges, according to Billboard.

If there is one person 50 Cent doesn't mind taking shots at, it's Diddy. During a recent show 50 took some light hearted jabs at the Bad Boy Records CEO.

"Y'all didn't realize I was talking about Puffy all the way back then?" he said. "That nigga Ain't Never Did Nothing."

The music icon then took time to promote EFFEN Vodka while throwing coal at Diddy's Ciroc.

"Fuck that, no Puffy juice," he continued. "I'm just doing what they taught me. I'm a Southside nigga so I do it that way."

When it rains it pours, and right now Suge Knight must feel like he's caught in the middle of a hurricane.

According to TMZ, the former Death Row Records co-owner is being sued along with Katt Williams. Leslie Redden claims that Katt's girlfriend attacked her and the comedian stole her camera during an altercation on September 5, 2014, after Knight claimed she was filming his young son.

Knight is on camera telling Redden "I got a bitch to beat your motherfucking ass."

Redden is suing Knight and Williams for assault. She's also suing Williams for defamation of character for telling TMZ that she was "engaged inappropriately with a child."

Right now Knight has bigger problems to deal with. He's currently in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting trial for murder and attempted murder.

No word on how much Redden is seeking in damages.

(KVUE) AUSTIN -- Two police officers and the driver of a vehicle were injured in a car fire in Southeast Austin early Tuesday morning.

Police said the man called 911 saying he planned to commit suicide by setting himself and his car on fire.

Officers arrived at the Texaco Gas Station at Interstate 35 and Stassney Lane around 2 a.m. and found 47-year-old Andrew Guerrero outside the car. Officers said they asked him to come over, but he instead rushed inside the car that had apparently been doused in combustible substance.

As the two officers tried to get him out, police said Guerrero lit a cigarette lighter, causing the car to explode. The force of the explosion knocked one officer back five feet and hurled the suspect out of the car, but he got back in. Investigators said that was a clear sign that he wanted to commit suicide.

"I think people have this misinformation that it's just going to be this little fire and the smoke's going to put you to sleep or kill you. Whatever they want to do, but you see by the violence in that video that those gasoline vapors or whatever hydrocarbon vapors were in there, they fill that entire car up and that car got hot quick," said Austin Fire Department Capt. Andy Reardon. "We're talking thousands of degrees inside there. You saw the force it created right there, so for him to get back in the car like that, to do that he was very dedicated on killing himself."

But Guerrero didn't stay in the car long. He got back out and officers pulled him away from the car.

The Austin Fire Department issued a warrant for first-degree felony arson Wednesday. Guerrero is currently being treated at a burn center in San Antonio and AFD is coordinating with the hospital to get him arrested.

The two officers who were near the car suffered minor injuries. One officer was transported to the hospital for treatment. He has been released.

When asked if you can be a gangster on Instagram, Tha Eastsidaz emcee said that he doesn't see how it's possible. Tray told us that "If you're a gangster on Instagram I would think that you're either trying to get some chicks, or you're dumb, because you're telling on yourself." 

The West Coast emcee went on to speak about people snitching on themselves online by posting outrageous photos to get their followers up, and said that he doesn't see the benefit of attempting to be an online gangster.
