Officer Ricky Ross has done some suspect things in the past that by now we are all well aware of. Recently though, I have found out the Ross fuckery goes far beyond his once hidden background as a correctional officer. Less than two years ago "The Bawse" heard a record titled "On My Trail" from an up and coming independent east coast artist by the name of L.A. which featured Akon on the hook. Ross loved the song, as a matter of fact he loved it so much he decided to jack it. At the time this was L.A.'s first official single and was starting to get play on east coast radio stations. The song was the "Pick Of The Week" two weeks in a row on Miss Jones Hot 97 radio show. L.A.'s manager, June lived in Miami at the time, so they decided to try to get the record some exposure there. It was played on Power 96.5 and things were looking good. At the same time several record labels (Universal Motown, Universal SRC and Jive) were starting to show interest. However during their meetings with those labels they kept hearing the same thing about their song "Isn't this a Rick Ross/Flo Rida joint?" They also started getting resistance from Core DJ's for the very same reason. None of this made sense to either of them until they heard Rick Ross's version of their song. He had taken the hook, switched up the beat and changed the name from "On My Trail" to "On The Run" featuring Brisco and Flo Rida. Now you have to understand that around this time Flo Rida was becoming a big name with his hit record "Low" and Rick Ross was also established in the industry. L.A. being an independent artist struggling to get his foot in the door has been fighting an uphill battle trying to get the truth out ever since. L.A.'s version was recorded in August 2007. The Ross version began to circulate somewhere around July 2008 Check out both songs below and you can still hear L.A.'s voice ad libbing on the hook of the Ross version. Also below listen to Miss Jones and DJ Envy introducing the original song on Hot 97 -- ChasinDatPaper Miss Jones & DJ Envy Introducing "On My Trail" by L.A. HipHopWired Reports “You want me to personally point out some wack niggas?” Jaz-O was featured on Street Disciplez Radio where he was given the opportunity to speak on the status of Hip-Hop and take aim at certain artists that may be deemed as being hot and believe to a certain degree that they are in fact, but are far from it in actuality. “One thing I have to say is a lot of these, and what makes them wack, is the first thing. There's certain lines that you don't cross.” The first rapper on the chopping block would be none other than the new mixtape king Lil Wayne. In regards to his lyrics, rumors have been aired out for years that artists such as Gillie the Kid were responsible for young Carter's rise to fame. Recently there has been speculation that Drake has been writing for Weezy. “Lil Wayne has a gang of writers…Everybody likes him. I would like him too if I listened to mainstream radio all the time because that's all that they play. The people that you talk to and say that he's not wack don't even realize that they've been hypnotized into liking him because when they weren't playing him a lot and had the same backing and money behind, they weren't liking him. They were saying he was garbage. Honestly, I think that he put out better material when they said that he was wack.” Ludacris is another that was put in front of the firing squad, but there were no harsh words for anything that the Southern rapper has said. He did, however, make reference to him allowing Jay to lay a verse for the track “I Do It For Hip Hop” off Theater of the Mind where the rapper took a jab at Jaz. “I don't appreciate Luda for even letting somebody do that. I wouldn't let somebody do that on my song because somebody might take it the wrong way and affiliate me with your statements and make it like I'm with what you're saying.” Of course no interview with Jaz would be complete if he didn't throw the required shot at Jay-Z. “Jay-Z fell off the cliff. I don't know what happened to him” It almost feels as though Jay-Z continues to bring Jaz into relevance as he continues to throw him jabs. With another jab on the intro to The Blueprint III, one can only imagine how much more publicity his former friend will get now. Recently he linked up with The Game in order to create the track “Gangta's Ride” where they unleash a lyrical assault on Hov.

Jay-Z's forthcoming album, The Blueprint 3, unsurprisingly leaked before its release, and we've got a profile. It was only a matter of time. Last week a number of tracks from Jay-Z's upcoming The Blueprint 3 leaked online, including his collaboration with Rookie of the Year Drake on "Off That." Now, Hov has to deal with his entire album being on the Web: The Blueprint 3 popped up on blogs this morning around the time Jay-Z appeared at a press conference announcing his 9/11 tribute concert. "I may be the most bootlegged artist in history," he told MTV News shortly after his album leaked. "It's a preview. I'm excited for people to hear the album. I'm very proud of the work I've done, so enjoy it." The album is as diverse as any project he's put together when it comes to collaborations. Australian musician Luke Steele of pop duo Empire of the Sun appears on the opener, "What We Talkin' About." The cut features the lyrics Jay spit earlier this summer during his Las Vegas show that target the Game and his former business partner, Dame Dash. The Mr. Hudson-assisted "Young Forever," a pensive track on which Jay puts his career in perspective, closes the album. After threatening to retire for years, the Brooklyn wordsmith sounds like he's about to kick-start another run of yearly output. "Bye-byes aren't for legends/ I'm forever young, my name shall survive," he raps. And in between, The Blueprint ranges from the familiar — "Run This Town" and "D.O.A" — to the more experimental. "Hate," produced by and featuring Kanye West, is syrupy slow — in sound and flow — as Jay and his protégé take aim at detractors. "Hoover, Hova/ Both are American gangsters/ You choose who's colder/ Rappers getting nasty in the booth, but I'm grosser/ I can't even stomach myself, ulcer," Jay raps over West's syncopated sounds. On "Empire State of Mind," Jay writes his name alongside Frank Sinatra and Robert De Niro as one of New York's favorite sons. Joined by Alicia Keys, the Roc Nation CEO takes listeners for a ride in the back of the Maybach, detailing his rise from the Marcy Projects to his SoHo Penthouse. "I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can/ You know I bleed blue/ But I'm not a crip, though," he raps, before Keys croons, "I'm from Neeeeww Yooooork/ These streets will make you feel brand-new/ Bright lights will inspire you." "Already Home" is that triumphant, soulful magnum opus that hearkens back to its oldest brother's "Heart of the City." Jay makes fun of his critics and rapper detractors alike. "Only time they exciting is when they mentioning Shawn," Jigga raps. "... Don't they know that I'm on?/ Don't they know it's foolish to try and kill me with songs?/ ... I opened the door for them, what else can I do?/ These n---as want me to walk for them." Guest star Kid Cudi's hook is almost equally as absorbing as it is off-key: "They want me to fall, fall from the top," the Kid from Cleveland sings. "They want me to drop/ They want to stop/ They want me to go, I'm already gone/ The sh-- that I'm on/ I'm already home." Producer Kanye West comes with a track that has his signature Midwest bounce, draped in violins, piano and bass. "N---as is mad/ Oh, they call me a camel, but I mastered the drought," Jay comes back later. "What the f---, I'm an animal/ Half man, half mammal/ My sign is Sag/ This is just what I planned to do." Later, on "A Star Is Born" with J. Cole, Jay gives brief snapshots and memories of some of the most tremendous rap stars of the past 15 years. "T.I. literally wanted to shoot up the charts," he raps. "What up Jeezy, what it do?/ That reminds me of us back in '92/ Outkast landed, Three Thou was ill/ Like a male version of Lauryn Hill/ Mobb Deep shook it, but Prodigy took it, a little too far/ Can't f--- with Brooklyn." All day, fans were weighing in on the new record on Twitter and Facebook. Jay kept it cool despite his material leaking out 10 days before the official release day. The iconic MC, though, had reason to relax: He has his own indicator to let him know whether reactions to his music are good or bad. "My pager is actually ringing right now, so people are probably calling me and telling me they pretty much like it," he explained. "I can tell by the way my pager rings if a song is good or not. It's really going crazy right now." Source

It's almost as easy to count the celebrities without sex tapes or compromising photos than it is to keep track of the ones whose pixilated flesh has radiated around the Internet for all to see. Megan Fox will bare a considerable amount of skin in her upcoming film, "Jennifer's Body," but audiences won't see the 23-year-old actress anywhere close to fully naked and, as she told MTV recently, the public will never, ever have the chance to click onto a Megan Fox sex tape on the Web. "Ugh, never!" said the actress. "That's the last thing I want to see — what I look like having sex. It would take one shot of me not looking good and I would not be able to have sex ever again, because I would always just see myself looking like a hippo having sex." Just as there will be no nudity on camera in the comfort of her own home, there will be no nudity for Fox on set either. "I can't ever imagine myself doing nudity in a film," she said. "It lives forever, especially now, with the Internet. I just can't. I just can't." In the spring of last year, during filming for "Jennifer's Body," pictures of Fox — nude save for some strategically placed pasties and flesh-colored underwear — popped up on the Web. The fact that those photos will now "live forever" — that her body is no longer private — is something that still upsets Fox. "That's the only thing I have left," she explained. "That's what I was saying when I was so upset that day [when the photos appeared] is people take everything from you when you're in this business. Your anonymity is stripped from you. They invade every part of your personal life, your relationships. Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged. Literally all I have left are my private parts and I don't want to also share them with the world. I'd like to keep them private. That's why they're called that!" Source

HipHopWired Reports The Black Eyed Peas are riding high after breaking the Billboard record for longest act on the top 100 with their successful singles, “I Gotta Feeling” and “Boom Boom Pow.” Unfortunately for the chart topping group, someone's stepped up to shoot them down. A former employee on the Peas' concert tour is suing the band for an undisclosed amount of damages. Winter Sumpter claims that she was severely injured during band's 2007 “Black Blue & You” Tour. During the band's Burbank, California performance, Sumpter says she fell through a flight of stairs when “one of the treads became detached.” In her court claim she says she suffered “severe and permanent injuries” and was left with “mental, physical, nervous pain and suffering.” Of course she's pointing the finger at the Peas for her clumsiness but she's not stopping there. She is also asking for a handout from their tour manager, and other concert officials. You know what they say; more money, more problems. Despite the shady lawsuit, the Peas can crown themselves victorious overseas after a ban on one of their concerts was lifted. The band made headlines after Malaysian officials banned Muslim citizens from attending their upcoming concert in the country. Now however, that ban has been lifted and all citizens of Malaysia are free to attend at their will. The ban was put in place because the concert is sponsored by the Irish beer company, Guinness. Muslims are denounced from using alcohol as part of their Islamic law. Muslim officials have yet to provide a reason why the ban was lifted but they are imposing strict rules. Guinness will not be allowed to sell their product at the concert or use its logo for publicity. The concert is part of the beer company's 250th anniversary.
