Rap's punch line king is not done making mixtapes just yet.
Lloyd Banks announced recently that the just released Cold Corner 2 project would be his last body of free work. Some people took that to mean he would no longer be releasing mixtapes, but Blue Hefner surprised his Twitter followers yesterday when he announced that he has started working on V6.
"Back to work..new sh*t on the way! working on V6!," Banks wrote. "Thought about it...i can't stop..streetz need dat dope."
V5 was an incredible body of work. Expect the same of it's follow up.

The Miami Heat pulled off a dramatic come from behind win in Chicago last night setting up a showdown against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
The series will feature Miami's big three Chris Bosh, Lebron James and Dwayne Wade vs the Mavericks's Dirk Nowitski and a solid supporting cast that includes Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd.
Dallas would seem to have the edge in overall team depth, but as we saw during their playoff matchups against the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls, the Heat don't need much more than their trio of all stars.
Game 1 of the best of 7 series will be in Miami on Tuesday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
So who do you like to win the championship?

Atlanta rapper stat Quo has finally putting the finishing touches on his debut 'Statlanta'.
It's been a long journey for Stat. Since being released from Shady/Aftermath Records in 2008 after spending five frustrating years sitting on the bench, The dirty south mc finally has reason to celebrate.
He announced via his twitter account the good news on Tuesday (February 9).
"Mastering is done, Statlanta is 100% DONE!!! The credits will be turned in today and thats it. I will have my release date this week!!!"
Originally scheduled for a 2003 release, Statlanta will have production by Che Vicious, Hi-Tek, Key Kat Productions and Sha Money XL.
The album will be released through G-Unit producer Sha Money XL's Big Dream Ventures imprint.
For those that had not heard, Sha Money has signed a multi-million dollar film and distribution deal for Dream Big through Orchard, the world’s leading digital distributor of music. And will be releasing projects from Stat Quo, ex Lil Wayne affiliate Kidd Kidd and DJ Whoo Kid.
While we wait for the official release date of 'Statlanta', Stat tweeted we should be on the lookout for a new mixtape.
"Mixtape time!!! I got a few beats im ready to hop on....."
