(USA Today) Jesse Duplantis, a televangelist with viewers across the globe, says God told him he needs a new jet.

Specifically, God told Duplantis he needs a Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine private jet capable of carrying 12 to 16 passengers at speeds up to 700 miles per hour. The Falcon 7X, which would be the fourth plane owned by Jesse Duplantis Ministries,  has a range of almost 6,000 miles and costs about $54 million new, according to SherpaReport (although used ones are listed online for as little as $20 million).

"Now, some people believe that preachers shouldn't have jets," Duplantis said in a video posted last week. "I really believe that preachers ought to ... have every available outlet to get this Gospel preached to the world."

In fact, Duplantis said that "if Jesus was physically on the Earth today, he wouldn't be riding a donkey."

"He'd be in an airplane preaching the Gospel all over the world," he said. "But the first thing I thought of was, 'How an I going to pay for it?' And then that great statement that [God] told me in 1978 flooded into my mind. He said, 'Jesse, I didn't ask you to pay for it. I asked you to believe for it.'"

The beef between Drake and tattoo artist Kevin Campbell appears to be over. Campbell sent out several tweets yesterday indicating that he and Drake had talked things over and put aside their differences.

12349171065?profile=original

12349171286?profile=original

To refresh everyone's memory the beef started after Kevin, who works for Will Rise tattoo shop in Los Angeles, tatted Drake's name across the forehead of a female customer.

12349171856?profile=original

In a subsequent interview with Vice.com, Kevin referred to Drake as a "goofnugget R&B dude." Drake responded by telling Mando Fresco of Los Angeles’ Power 106 radio station that he would "f*ck up" Kevin if they ever met.

Fast forward a couple of weeks later. Drake does stop by Will Rise, but instead of going inside himself he sent one of the members of his security team to warn Kevin while he sat in the car.

Undeterred, Kevin kept talking trash via Twitter including sending out the pic below.

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- A tell-all book by a former "Girls Gone Wild" photographer alleges that Paris Hilton once smuggled illegal drugs into Europe using a cigarette box hidden inside her body. Hilton's representative did not comment on the book's allegation when contacted by CNN Wednesday. A copy of "Flash! Bars, Boobs and Busted -- 5 years on the Road with Girls Gone Wild" was filed as an exhibit in the publisher's response to a lawsuit aimed at stopping its sale on Tuesday. The lawsuit described the "Girls Gone Wild" video series as "filming real college coeds reveling in spring break." The video series' founder, Joe Francis, filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court in July accusing his former employee, Ryan Simkins, of violating confidentiality agreements with the book. "Simkins agreed orally and in writing not to disclose confidential information or speak publicly in a manner that could harm the reputation of Mr. Francis or the Girls Gone Wild enterprise," his suit said. Simkin's legal response contended he was not bound by any confidentiality agreement. "To the extent the parties previously may have agreed that the defendant would not write about plaintiffs, that agreement was waived by plaintiffs," the response said. The book became available online Tuesday despite the lawsuit, according to the publisher's lawyer. Publisher 4th Street Media, named as a co-defendant, submitted the book as an exhibit in a court filing on Tuesday. An excerpt of the filing obtained by CNN described a purported encounter between Simkins and Hilton, who was naked in her dressing room during a photo shoot in Los Angeles. Hilton was about to fly to Europe to meet Francis, whom she was dating at the time, he wrote. Simkins wrote that he was delivering a Camel cigarette package filled with cocaine and Ecstasy to Hilton at the request of Francis: "I took out the Camel box and handed it to her, and she thanked me. We talked for a minute or two about the apparent difficulty of procuring those drugs in Europe. I asked if she was flying private, and she said, 'No, commercial.' And then as politely as I could, I asked her how she planned on traveling with that amount of blow and X. "She held the box in her right hand, and then with an underhand swoop like a lower case J, she demonstrated exactly how she intended to beat airport security. She even whistled as she did it." He then describes how she placed the box between her legs and into her body. Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, on a cocaine possession charge last month. Source: CNN twitter-5d.gif

CNN Reports PARIS, France (CNN) -- Former first lady Laura Bush praised the performance of her husband's successor Monday, breaking with many Republicans in telling CNN that she thinks President Obama is doing a good job under tough circumstances. Former first lady Laura Bush defended President Obama's decision to address the nation's schoolchildren. She also criticized Washington's sharp political divide during an interview covering a range of topics including her thoughts on first lady Michelle Obama, former Vice President Dick Cheney, the situation in Afghanistan and Myanmar, and life after eight tumultuous years in the White House. Bush sat down with CNN on Monday during a United Nations meeting in Paris, France, where she was promoting global literacy, a cause she trumpeted during her husband's administration. The typically reserved former first lady defended Obama's decision to deliver a back-to-school speech to students, putting her at odds with many conservatives afraid that the president will use the opportunity to advance his political agenda. "I think he is [doing a good job]," Bush said when asked to assess Obama's job performance. "I think he has got a lot on his plate, and he has tackled a lot to start with, and that has probably made it more difficult." Michelle Obama is also "doing great," she said, in part by turning the White House into a comfortable home for her family. Watch more of the interview » Referencing the uproar over Obama's address to schoolchildren, which will be aired nationwide Tuesday, Laura Bush said it's "really important for everyone to respect the president of the United States." Bush didn't completely dismiss the concerns of some conservatives but noted that controversial Education Department plans recommending that students draft letters discussing what they can do to help Obama had been changed. "I think there is a place for the president ... to talk to schoolchildren and encourage" them, she said. Parents should follow his example and "encourage their own children to stay in school and to study hard and to try to achieve the dream that they have." Bush indicated that she didn't think it was fair for Obama to be labeled a "socialist" by critics and expressed her disappointment with the intensely polarized nature of contemporary American politics. Part of the reason for the polarization, she said, was the increase in the number of congressional districts dominated by either strongly conservative or liberal voters. "We've seen that for the last eight years, certainly, and we're still seeing it," she said. "That's just a fact of life." iReport.com: Share your thoughts on Obama's speech Bush conceded that after her husband was elected president, he was unable to replicate his success as governor of Texas in reaching across the aisle to Democrats. "He was disappointed that that was not the way it worked out in Washington," she said. "I'm sure President Obama didn't expect it to be that way [either]. ... All of us need to do what we can to come together on issues." Despite her husband's disappointment, he is "doing very well," she said. Both of them are now working on their memoirs, she noted. Though the former first lady criticized the excessive partisanship of Washington, she expressed gratitude for Cheney's decision to vocally defend her husband's performance. Cheney has been outspoken in his defense of the Bush administration's national security record, which has been sharply criticized on, among other things, questions relating to the detention and interrogation of terrorist suspects. "I think that Vice President Cheney has every right to speak out, and I appreciate that he is defending" the administration, Bush said. "I think that is important. I think there is a place for that." Bush also said it doesn't bother her husband that Cheney's "out there being critical." The former first lady said her husband still speaks with Cheney occasionally. Multiple sources have indicated that the two men parted ways on several issues in the last years of their administration, including Bush's refusal to offer a pardon for former top Cheney aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby. Libby was convicted on charges of perjury, obstruction of justice and lying to investigators looking into the leak that resulted in the exposure of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. Though Bush expressed confidence that her husband will ultimately be remembered as "somebody who stood for freedom and who stood for the security of our country," she admitted that she's worried about the current situation in Afghanistan. "I'm very concerned, of course," she said. "All of us are concerned, and everybody, as they look at Afghanistan from around the world, really hope and want to [do] whatever they can to help the government stabilize, to see that the elections were fair." Bush said she hoped people "will redouble their efforts" to help the country fend off Taliban and al Qaeda extremists. She also repeated her outspoken criticism of the government of Myanmar, also known by its former name of Burma, which has come under fire for imprisoning pro-democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi. "She's always been held under house arrest [because] they're afraid of her popularity. They think that undermines their regime," Bush said. "I hope that they'll see what she really wants. ... She wants [the nation to have] a peaceful transition to a democracy and to have the chance for Burma to really build itself [into] a very wealthy and educated nation." After her husband's eight controversial years in the White House, what does Bush have to say to critics who believe he had a negative, destructive influence in the world? "I would say that that's absolutely not right," Bush said. "I don't think they have either the right view of him or what his responsibilities are and were as president of the United States."

Dailymail.Co.UK Reports A teenager conned British aviation bosses into believing he was a tycoon by showing them elaborate plans on setting up his own airline. The 17-year-old from York bluffed his way through meetings, created fictitious fellow executives of his 'airline' and set-up fake websites to bolster his story. With an imaginative twist, he even made-up an American parent company which signed off emails 'American Global Group, 35 Countries, 22 Languages, One Team'. Similarities have been drawn with the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr, who convinced Pan Am he was a pilot while he was just a teenager in the 1960s, and whose exploits featured in the Leonardo DiCaprio film Catch Me if You Can, The smooth-talking teenager, said to be autistic and with a huge knowledge of the intricacies of the air industry, operated under pseudonym Adam Tait. The scam ended at Southend Airport on Monday, where the youngster had apparently set-up a meeting with an aircraft leasing firm, as he prepared to board a 93-seat plane his 'company' wanted to buy. Smooth talker: The teenager, who used the pseudonym Adam Tait, when he conjured up an airline company, fooling many in the industry

The hoax was uncovered by the industry magazine Airliner World. But police said the boy, who told airline bosses he was in his twenties, would not be prosecuted. An Essex Police spokesman said: 'As a result of information received from a member of the public on Saturday July 11, Essex Police and security staff at Southend Airport refused a man access to the air-side section of the airport on Monday July 13. 'No offences were committed and Essex Police is taking no further action.' Airliner World first became aware of the teenager when he contacted the magazine with his ambitious plans to establish an airline in the Channel Islands. The publication spoke to contacts who had heard rumours about a new player in the area, and ran a small item on his creation, Channel Connect Airways. Richard Maslen, Airliner World deputy editor, said: 'A representative from the company, now known as Island Airways, contacted us again by email on July 4 and following a conversation with the individual on July 6, I had some serious concerns over his story. 'After an initial investigation by the magazine we asked one of our freelance journalists, Martin Foley, to investigate this on our behalf. 'Over the subsequent week Martin and I worked closely to unravel this mysterious story and were able to disprove many of the claims that the company was making.' The magazine tipped-off the police who intervened at the airport. By then the boy had been in negotiations with the Guernsey government-owned airline Aurigny, among others. Its commercial manager Malcolm Coupar told the Sunday Times: 'Some of the things he said were the sort of things that were indicative that there might have been some substance to his claims. 'If they were real then there would have been opportunities for us to expand our business and that's not the sort of thing we are going to ignore.' Claims about start-ups were frequently made in the air industry, Mr Maslen said, and while airports tried to avoid wasting time on long-shots, they did not want to miss a business opportunity. He said: 'You can imagine what Luton Airport first thought when Stelios Haji-Ioannou first approached them and said he was going to launch easyJet. 'An airline that painted the tails of its aircraft bright orange, initially had its telephone booking number in enormous letters across the fuselage of its aircraft, made passengers pay for food and drink onboard with fares cheaper than a pair of jeans.'
