Lil Kim made quite a splash in Zimbabwe as she took the stage at the inaugural Zarfest in the capital city of Harare.

Kim rocked the crowd with some of her classic hits before paying homage to Notorious B.I.G. and Michael Jackson. The Queen Bee performed "One More Chance" and "Juicy" followed by Billie Jean to close out her set.

Ciara and DJ Scratch also performed at the event, while Timbaland was a no show.

A video message from Timbo was played for the disappointed crowd, explaining that he wouldn't be able to make it due to unforseen difficulties that were out of his control.

The four day music festival now moves on to South Africa for shows in Durban (June 1), Cape Town (June 2) and Johannesburg (June 3).

Check out pics of Lil Kim arriving at the airport and in concert.

Things haven't exactly been going Beanie Sigel's way as of late.

The former Roc-A-Fella spitta reportedly is in trouble with the IRS and he still hasn't patched things up with his former boss Jay-Z.

But a recent interview 804 ENT Beans is sure to raise a few eyebrows.

Beanie looked like he might have been full of that liquor, so it could have been the drink talking, but the Broad Street Bully said he would like to hook up with Fat Joe and Officer Ross to remake a Fat Boys album.

He also said he wouldn't mind signing to Cash Money Records.

What do you guys think of Beanie's latest comments?

Video After The Jump Details are sketchy as to why these two got into a fight. I think the white dude called the black dude a P*ssy. But Honestly, I really dont care what the reason was, I just like knock outs, lol. You can see the black dude is clearly outweighed, but he still handles his business and puts fat boy on his a** in the end.

(AllHipHop.com) After gaining the attention of fans earlier this week with a heart felt letter from behind bars, incarcerated New Orleans rapper Lil' Wayne is making headlines in a less favorable way.

Apparently the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is after Lil' Wayne’s fortunes, seeking over $1.13 million dollars in back taxes for the years 2004, 2005 and 2007.

The IRS filed and a lien against his One Family Foundation this past June in Dade County Florida courts, as the lien maintains the same address as his charitable organization.

This is the second tax lien filed against Wayne in the last 2 years as in 2008 he paid off a tax debt of $977,840

Representatives for Lil' Wayne could not be reached for comments at the time of press release.

Multiple sources confirmed with AllHipHop.com that the IRS has a special unit that tails and tracks the artists, as one of the methods used to keep a tab on their earnings.

The “issue management team” was formed in 2007 and its goal is to get unclaimed tax money from athletes and entertainers in the United States and foreigners who come to tour the country.

“A few years ago, they concluded that athlete and entertainer taxes might be escaping their radar. So they reinstated a division to only deal with this area,” said Bill Zysblat of the global touring/accounting company RZO Productions.

A number of rappers have fallen into tax troubles since 2007.

Artists and executives like Suge Knight ($6 million), Nas ($3 million), DMX ($1.5 million), Lil Wayne ($1 million), Swizz Beatz ($645,000), Snoop Dogg ($598,000), Fat Joe ($140,000), Method Man ($40,000) and numerous others have had to account to the IRS in the past year alone.

A source told AllHipHop.com that in the pursuit of the tax dollars, a variety of artists have landed in trouble for other infractions, such as gun possession and a variety of drug charges.

The IRS is also investigating a number of record labels and artists, who ran money through their non-profits for commercial gains.

Video After The Jump

Former Roc-A-Fella artist Peedi Crakk was recently released from jail and had a lot to get off his chest. The Philly rapper explains to Cosmic Kev why things went bad with Jay-Z.

Peedi says things started to go sour when he expressed to Jay that he wanted to expand his career and be more than just a rapper by getting into acting, writing scripts, etc.

He feels like Jay at that point started to feel like maybe he couldn't keep him hidden as one of his little soldiers.

"In the beginning it was all love, I respect the man and what he do and admire him as a businessman," says Crack. "I would love to make it to that height like Puffy, Jay, 50. But working hands on with Jay I see why he's where he's at because it's all about Jay."

Peedi recalled an incident when some goons tried to break into his crib in Philly and kidnap him. He called Hov to get him out of town. When Jay got in touch he called him "soft"

Crakk keeps it one hundred and admits he blew a lot of cash and went over budget. He says that when Jay was finally ready to push him he wasn't ready. And by the time he got his head together Jay had kind of washed his hands of the situation.

Crakk talks about how his recent jail stint matured him. He says he wrote 105 songs while in there.

There's a lot more to the interview regarding Jay-Z and his beef with Fat Joe over using the name "Crakk" so check it out below.

Video After The Jump 2009 has been a wild year for Hip Hop. We've seen plenty of beefs, a rapper embarrass himself at the MTV Music Awards and the rise of hipster/emo rap. 50 Cent recently sat down with DJ Semtex to talk about the highs and lows of 2009. One topic was his beefs with Fat Joe, The Game & Ja Rule. He also speaks on the Beanie Sigel/Jay-Z situation. The most intriguing part of the interview however, comes towards the end. When 50 speaks very candidly about his feelings towards Interscope Records and why he feels no loyalty towards the label.

AllHipHop Reports Lauren Raysor, the attorney responsible for prosecuting rapper Remy Ma, has called a press conference today (August 24) New York challenging record labels to curb the violence in Hip-Hop culture. Raysor will use the press conference to request that all labels create a morality clause in their contracts, which means an artist’s deal would be terminated for any acts seen as objectionable to society. Two years ago, Raysor represented Makeda Barnes-Joseph against her former close friend Remy Ma (Reminisce Smith). Remy was sentenced to 8 years in prison on assault, illegal weapon possession, and attempted coercion after shooting Joseph in the abdomen. According to a representative for Raysor, the “morality clause” concept would not be a device to target Hip-Hop artists, but a contract item to ensure all musicians consider the career ramifications for any violent acts. "Lauren P. Raysor is asking all record companies to insert a 'morality clause' in their contracts with all artists, not just rap and Hip-Hop artists, as a way to show them there are consequences for their actions,” the spokesman said. Accompanying Raysor will be Nicole Bailey, principal of the Learning Tree Multi-Cultural School. At press time, attorney Raysor also plans to present an extensive timeline displaying all the major violent confrontations pertaining to Hip-Hop artists

A List Of The Best Rappers Over 30

A few Tuesday’s ago (May, 19th to be exact) we saw album releases from Busta Rhymes, Method Man & Redman, & of course, Eminem. This was so far the biggest release date of 2009. All three acts that I mentioned are veterans in the game and well respected by their peers. Another thing they have in common: They’re all over the age of 30. If you think about it, most of Hip-Hop’s elite are over the age of 30. I guess it’s no longer a young man’s game. So I was thinking, since you see a lot of lists with titles such as “25 Hottest Celebs Under 25” or “40 Richest Under 40”, why not The Best 30 Rappers Over 30? But for this list, we got set some ground rules. #1 of course is the most obvious; you gotta be over the age of 30 (That throws out people like Weezy, Lupe, Drake, & T.I.). #2, you have to be 30 as of this list (Both The Game & Joe Budden will be 30 this year, but aren’t as of yet). #3, you got to be active and releasing records with new material that relevant (Rakim & Big Daddy Kane are legends but they don’t make this list). Other than that, the only requirement is being 3-0 or older. So, here’s it: The Best 30 Rappers Over 30 (Ordered from oldest to youngest). 30 is the new 20! Did I forget anybody? Ice Cube (June 15, 1969) - 39 Jay-Z (December 4, 1969) - 39 Raekwon (January 12, 1970) – 39 Q-Tip (April 10, 1970) - 39 Redman (April 17, 1970) - 39 Ghostface Killah (May 9, 1970) - 39 Fat Joe (August 19, 1970) - 38 Scarface (November 9, 1970) - 38 DMX (December 18, 1970) - 38 Method Man (April 1, 1971) - 38 Snoop Dogg (October 20, 1971) – 37 Common (March 13, 1972) - 37 Busta Rhymes (May 20, 1972) - 37 Black Thought (October 3, 1972) - 36 Eminem (October 17, 1972) - 36 Bun B (March 19, 1973) - 36 Nas (September 14, 1973) - 35 Mos Def (December 11, 1973) - 35 Andre 3000 (May 27, 1974) - 35 Styles P (November 28, 1974) - 34 Big Boi (February 1, 1975) - 34 Jadakiss (May 27, 1975) - 34 50 Cent (July 6, 1975) - 33 Talib Kweli (October 3, 1975) - 33 Rick Ross (January 28, 1976) - 33 Cam’ron (February 4, 1976) - 33 Kanye West (June 8, 1977) - 31 Ludacris (September 11, 1977) - 31 Young Jeezy (October 12, 1977)- 31 Fabolous (November 18, 1977) - 31 Source:NappyAfro.com
