Prince Newman may be the best-kept secret coming from the Bay Area. After years of grinding without being noticed, Newman seems to have finally caught a hit with “Do It For Free” featuring E-40. Recently landing a record deal with TSE, the discovery of Newman can be credited to the legendary Tony Draper, founder of Suave House Records. Draper has a unique ear for talent and the skinny white dude out of San Francisco is a perfect fit for the music executives eclectic approach to the industry. As if being noticed by a legend like Tony Draper isn’t a big enough stamp of approval, Newman also gets the biggest cosign that a Bay Area emcee could ask for, an E-40 verse.
“Do It For Free” is the perfect single for these two emcees to collaborate on. This instrumental has a signature Bay Area bounce that is a great compliment to both rappers flow and energy. Newman delivers a catchy hook and his ability as a rapper is on full display with each 16-bar verse. The single is also backed by a quality visual directed by the award-winning Gabriel Heart who perfectly captures the fun essence of this record by comedically placing Newman and E-40 in a room with a bunch of baddies doing yoga. Check out the video for yourself below and make sure you stay on the lookout for more to come from Prince Newman.

The auditory sensation of Cash will set off the sound waves in your brain as he shows off his vocal range with “New One”. The first single off of his upcoming album is R&B-driven with elements of hip-hop that provide the right level of bounce. The Houston, Texas native seems to have found the formula for a hit with his approach to melody, imagery, and beat selection.
While producer Jsdg brings a banger instrumental to the table here, director Eric Enrique de La Cruz also brings the record to life with this lavish visual. Cash takes us on a journey of fast cars, homes in the hills, gorgeous women, and flashy jewelry to entice female fans by appealing to all of their materialistic senses.
Although “New One” is a sound that Cash has clearly mastered, he is not a one-dimensional artist. Make sure you check out songs like “Grass Ain’t Greener” and “Figures” where Cash takes a more traditional R&B approach and really displays his vocal range. An artist with this much versatility is definitely in demand in 2018. Check out “New One” below and make sure you take a deeper dive into the rest of Cash’s catalog to get the full picture.
Mo3 has been buzzing out of Dallas, Texas for a while now but it sounds like he’s ready to take it to a national level with Shottaz 3.0. Dallas, Texas is a city that has been under-represented at the forefront of hip-hop but Mo3 is finally giving the city a sound that they can get behind. With autotune driven melodies and hard-hitting rap bars over trap-inspired instrumentals, Mo3 has the formula for success in today’s climate of music. Standout single “Numbers” featuring the scorching hot Moneybagg Yo is a testament to Mo3’s hit-making ability as he takes the listener through his come up from sleeping on the floor to wearing $25,000 worth of jewelry. “Numbers” has the potential to be a breakthrough record for Mo3.Shottaz 3.0. documents the success of Mo3 but it’s not all flash and flare as he explores themes of deceit and hardships on tracks like “Errybody Ain’t Your Friend” and “No Love” providing a lot of balance to the tracklist. Check out Shottaz 3.0. for yourself below and get put on to Mo3 early because he is about to blow up any minute following this release.

GWINNETT CO., GA (WCMH) — A Georgia mother is behind bars after police say she intentionally crashed her vehicle to prove to her children that God is real.
According to Norcross Police, Bakari Warren, 25, told investigators she drove her SUV into a pole to show her kids, ages 5 and 7, that God will protect them if they have faith.
Traffic cameras show the SUV crossing the southbound lanes of Peach Tree Industrial and driving head-on into the concrete pole. The two children were in the backseat at the time of the crash.
Officers asked Warren’s children if she did it on purpose.
“Yeah, because she turned,” one of the children said. “Her eyes were closed and she was saying, blah, blah blah, ‘I love God.’”
Officers said Warren did tell the children to fasten their seatbelts before she crashed. Warren was arrested on the spot. Luckily, no one was injured in the crash.
“It could’ve been a lot worse,” Nocross Police Sgt. Eric Butynski told WSB. “It could’ve been heavier traffic at the time, she could’ve hit the pole at such an angle that she did more damage to the car.”
Warren is charged with two counts of child cruelty and is being held in jail on a $22,000 bond. The children are staying with their grandparents.
