Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family has been hospitalized with terminal cancer and is not expected to live much longer.
The 89-year old created The Jackson 5 and helped to mold his son, Michael, into a superstar.
TMZ reports that family members, including his wife Katherine, are rushing to his bedside.

Jim Jones ran afoul of the law this week in Georgia. The 41-year old member of The Diplomats was a backseat passenger in a vehicle being driven in Cowetta County Thursday, June 21. When a Sheriff attempted to pull the car over over it sped up and a chase ensued, according to TMZ.
The chase ended when the vehicle struck a deputy's vehicle.
Cops allegedly found marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, THC oil, 2 loaded pistols and cash during a search of the car.
Jones reportedly told deputies he had prescriptions for the Percocet and oxycodone. He also said he told the driver to stop, but she was acting "incoherent."
Since no one claimed the rest of the paraphernalia, all of the occupants were arrested. Jones was charged for possession of the stolen gun, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and possession of narcotics ... all felonies. He also got a misdemeanor for the prescription pills not being in their original container.
He was released on $7,000 bail.

(FoxNews) A female jogger in Massachusetts managed to fight off an attempted kidnapper who allegedly sexually assaulted her as he tried to drag the woman into his car early Sunday morning.
The frightening confrontation caught on a surveillance camera shows a man identified as Gordon J. Lyons, 57, slowly pulling up his car to the 37-year-old woman while she jogged down the street.
In the footage, the man can be seen getting out of his car, approaching the woman and then attempting to grab her. The two then scuffled behind a tree where he allegedly assaulted the jogger before jumping back into his car and speeding away.
"I just knew that I needed to do whatever I needed to do in order to be OK," the unidentified victim told Enterprise News of Brockton. "I knew I needed to defend myself and be smart. I knew I needed to do something."
She added, "I kept thinking 'what would Dad want me to do?'"
Bridgewater police say the jogger took a photo of his car after the terrifying altercation. Investigators matched the photo to the suspect’s license plate after he crashed his car about seven miles away from the scene.
On Wednesday, Bridgewater police revealed Lyons was convicted of rape in 1978. The details of the crime were not released.
Lyons pleaded not guilty and was ordered held without bail.

A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of XXXTentacion.
WPLG Local 10 reports that Dedrick Williams, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday evening, June 20, in Pompano Beach, Florida. He's been charged with first-degree murder. Williams was also hit with a probation violation for a previous grand theft auto charge. He's currently being held without bail.
XXXTentacion, born Jashey Onfoy, was gunned down Monday, June 18, as he sat in his car while leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
The fast rising rapper was 20-years old
