Kodak Black is extending his charitable streak by reaching out to the families of the FBI agents killed in the line of duty this week in Florida.

TMZ has learned the Florida rapper -- fresh out of prison after his Presidential pardon -- had his attorney, Bradford Cohen, send a letter to the FBI Miami Division offering to pay college tuition for the children of the 2 agents fatally shot in Sunrise, FL.

In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Cohen says Kodak knows what it's like to lose loved ones & grow up in a single-parent home & he wants to make sure the mourning families don't ever have to worry about sending their kids to college.

Kodak's attorney says he has a friend in the FBI's Miami office who told him special agents Daniel Alfin & Laura Schwartzenberger each have minor children -- & Cohen relayed that to KB.

The agents were serving search warrants related to violent crimes against children Tuesday when they were killed & 3 other agents were injured.

Alfin is survived by a 3-year-old child & Schwartzenberger is survived by a 4-year-old & a 9-year-old.

We don't know if the families will accept Kodak's offer -- we've reached out to the FBI, but no word back.

Kodak's been very generous when it comes to charity ... even while he was in prison. As we reported, President Trump even noted that as one of the major reasons he granted the rapper's pardon.

A shooting early Saturday during a large gathering at a suburban Chicago hotel left one man dead & several other people wounded, police said.

The shooting occurred during “some type of large get-together” among guests at the Indian Lakes Hotel in Bloomingdale, according to Bloomingdale Public Safety Director Frank Giammarese. Investigators were still piecing together what happened, he said, but “it appears that there were a couple of different groups attending different events at the hotel” when “something transpired & that’s when the shooting took place, mostly in the hallways at the hotel.”

People were fleeing the hotel when officers arrived about 2:35 a.m. in response to a report of shots fired on the fifth floor. Officers found “multiple apparent gunshot victims” inside.

27-year old James McGill Jr., aka BCR Meezle, of Chicago, was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

As many as six other people were hit by gunfire, but the exact number was unknown because several people fled — including one or more possible suspects, Giammarese said. 

He said there have been “ongoing concerns” about large gatherings at the hotel in the recent past.

A Georgia substitute teacher has been arrested and charged with 19 counts of child molestation, police announced.

Staff at Mt. Zion Elementary School in Carrollton alerted Carroll County investigators on Friday regarding allegations of misconduct by a substitute teacher, Carroll County Sheriff's Office reported on Facebook.

Investigators reported that the teacher, identified as Carrollton resident Amelia Ressler, engaged in "indecent and immoral acts while in the presence of school-aged children."

Ressler, 30, was arrested on Friday and is currently booked at Carroll County Jail. A bond for Ressler has not been set, according to jail records. It is not yet known if Ressler has obtained an attorney or entered a plea.

"We appreciate the dedication Carroll County Schools has for the safety of their students as we were contacted immediately following the allegations and we will continue to work closely with them during the remainder of the investigation," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The sheriff's office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The district attorney's office has been contacted and will also be involved in the investigation.

Rapper Casanova, whose legal name is Caswell Senior, was slapped with internal departmental charges after a woman recorded him accepting the viral TikTok #junebugchallenge during a video visitation.

The purpose of the #junebugchallenge is to dance in the strangest locations one can think of, but a New York jail might not have been the best choice as an inmate.

In the short clip which was posted to Casanova's Instagram page, the rapper can be seen doing the dance in a jail cell. Pictures were also posted to the Instagram page.

Recording videos and taking pictures during a video visitation is prohibited by the Westchester County Department of Correction.

Westchester County Department of Correction revoked Casanova and the woman's video visitation privileges, Westchester Correction Commissioner Joseph Spano said. Casanova faces another internal charge for not wearing a mask.

"I'm happy to say we don't have a lot of issues with video visits because inmates know it's a privilege, not a right," Spano said.

Casanova is in federal custody as part of an racketeering case against 18 alleged members of the "Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation" gang & is being held in Westchester County Jail in Valhalla, N.Y.

The gang is charged with a litany of crimes, including the killing in September of a 15-year-old in Poughkeepsie & defrauding programs meant for people suffering economic hardship because of the pandemic.

Casanova, currently signed to Roc Nation, was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances & firearms possession. He is not charged with killing the child.

Raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, Casanova is known for hits like "Don’t Run" & more recently, "Set Trippin."

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Former heavyweight champion Leon Spinks Jr. has died after battling prostate and other cancers. He was 67.

Spinks died Friday night, according to a release from a public relations firm. His wife, Brenda Glur Spinks, and a few close friends and other family members were by his side when he passed away.

Spinks won gold at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. But he rose in prominence when he beat Muhammad Ali for the heavyweight title in 1978.

Spinks had only seven professional fights under his belt when he got into the ring with Ali. The St. Louis native also was outweighed by Ali by more than 25 pounds.

QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) - A Quincy man is facing criminal charges after police say he held his girlfriend against her will in their apartment for the last week and tried to kill her when she managed to escape by jumping out of a second-story window on Wednesday.

Officers responding to a report of a woman screaming for help on Wednesday found the area quiet and spoke with neighbors who said a man had just grabbed a woman from behind, covered her mouth, and dragged her back into an apartment, according to police.

After forcing their way into the apartment, officers say they found the woman unresponsive on a bed who was “agonal breathing” and had “red marks on her throat.” She was rushed to Boston Medical Center by ambulance.

An investigation determined her boyfriend, Matthew McAuliffe, 32, had held her against her will for the last week and she jumped from a second-story window to escape.

“We want to publicly commend the neighbors for getting involved,” police wrote in a statement. “They did exactly what we would hope: They contacted 9-1-1 and observed from a safe location. They were able to provide us with information needed to quickly locate the victim. We truly believe their actions, coupled with the immediate actions of (the officers) may very well have saved this young woman’s life.”

McAuliffe was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing at his arraignment in Quincy District Court on charges including assault to murder, aggravated assault and battery, strangulation, assault and battery on an intimate partner, and kidnapping.

MCCOMB, Miss. (AP) — Supervisors in a Mississippi county are discussing courtroom security after a video showed a man trying to attack a justice court judge during a hearing.

The incident happened Jan. 7 in Pike County Justice Court, when 27-year-old Sidney Newsome was making a court appearance after being charged with domestic violence.

Pike County supervisors on Friday watched a courtroom security video that showed Newsome arguing with a transport officer and Justice Court Judge Aubrey Rimes.

As the officer led Newsome toward a side door, He lunged at the judge and the officer pulled him back. Newsome threw papers at the judge and tried to come around the side of the court clerk’s desk.

The clerk moved away and the man threw a phone at Rimes. The judge walked toward the man, who threw more paper at him as the officer tried to hold him back. The judge grabbed the man and pinned him onto a table before deputies arrived.

Rimes charged the Newsome with contempt of court, and chief sheriff’s deputy Brad Bellipanni said he will probably be charged with simple assault. The man remained in jail without bond.

Pike County supervisors had a closed-door meeting Friday to discuss courtroom security, but took no action. After the meeting, board president Robert Accardo said, “We’re going to have to do something.”

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German prosecutors have confiscated more than 50 million euros ($60 million) worth of bitcoin from a fraudster. There’s only one problem: they can’t unlock the money because he won’t give them the password.

The man was sentenced to jail and has since served his term, maintaining his silence throughout while police made repeated failed efforts to crack the code to access more than 1,700 bitcoin, said a prosecutor in the Bavarian town of Kempten.

“We asked him but he didn’t say,” prosecutor Sebastian Murer told Reuters on Friday. “Perhaps he doesn’t know.”

Bitcoin is stored on software known as a digital wallet that is secured through encryption. A password is used as a decryption key to open the wallet and access the bitcoin. When a password is lost the user cannot open the wallet.

The fraudster had been sentenced to more than two years in jail for covertly installing software on other computers to harness their power to “mine” or produce bitcoin.

When he went behind bars, his bitcoin stash would have been worth a fraction of the current value. The price of bitcoin has surged over the past year, hitting a record high of $42,000 in January. It was trading at $37,577 on Friday, according to cryptocurrency and blockchain website Coindesk.

Prosecutors have ensured the man cannot access the largesse, however.
