Video After The Jump "Yes we are pregnant, this is true." Mariah Carey finally ended speculation that has gone on for months. By confirming that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a baby In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 41 year old superstar said it's been hard keeping this secret from the world. "It's been a long journey. It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy." she said. Carey also revealed that two years ago she suffered a miscarriage. Cannon talked about how hard it was for Mariah to deal with that loss. "Her strength during the day to be so festive, smiling for cameras, spending time with everyone. Then later that night crying herself to sleep." Cannon said. This will be the first child for both Carey and 30-year old entertainer, Cannon. The baby is due next spring. Congrats to them. twitter-5d.gif

Rapper Shyne is confused about a lot of things these days. He's upset his comeback isn't going well, wants to drop an album every 6 months, even though he has zero buzz right now. And two weeks ago, he said Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid doesn't like hip hop, hoping he could leave the label in order to head over to Cash Money. He obviously forgot the fact that it was Reid who put a big paycheck in his pocket to sign with Def Jam when he got out of prison. Shyne now admits, his emotions got the best of him when he dissed Reid, and wants to make nice again. "I was wrong about my assessment of Chairman Reid. After I stopped being all Carl Thomas emotional and things like that, I thought about the facts. Fact is L.A Reid was there when I was locked. We have to have perspective on the legend [that] L.A. Reid is. 100 million records sold!!" Shyne wrote. Guess he realized it's not cool to diss people who hold your career in their hands. But then again, when you're confused and emotional, you're liable to say anything, whether it kills your career or not. Dude needs to stop writing letters, begging for negative attention and go make some music. The only problem with that is nobody wants to hear it anymore. twitter-5d.gif

There's big expectations placed on artists shoulders to do big 1st week numbers. A lot of that pressure seems to come from the artists themselves. Young Money's Mack Maine says Nicki Minaj is stressing out over how well her debut will do. She said recently that if 'Pink Friday' doesn't do well, it could spell the end for female rappers getting a major label deal. Mack recently sat down with Vibe to talk about Nicki's mindset, and why he feels she shouldn't sweat it so much. “She was worrying about first week. She was like, ‘Drake sold [463,000]. What you think I’ma sell? As if she gon' sell less,” recalls Maine. "I explained to her, ‘You know a lot of the press and the media really got it brainwashed with first week sales.’ Bieber went on to sell 2 million and Bieber might have only sold 17,000 the first week. Juvenile sold like 30,000 his first week of 400 Degreez and went on to sell 6 million.” Mack makes a valid point there. Very few albums are keeping the same momentum going after a big 1st week. For every cd like Eminem's 'Recovery' that continued to do great numbers weeks after its release, there are countless projects that fall off the face of the map after the debut week. Is this a result or weak overall albums? Or labels pushing the panic button too soon and bailing on projects prematurely? Mack spoke about that as well. “I don’t know what happened to working the record and making sure that the artist reaches a certain point. I rather the end number be higher than the beginning,” says Maine. “These days, it’s all about: Let me do 500,000, a million the first week. Don’t get caught up in what Wayne did. You don’t want your pinnacle to be your first-week sales. Then everything’s downhill from there and then what? I don’t care if you sell 10 the first week and you go on to sell 5 million—we did better than the person that sold 300 the first week.” Real talk right there. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump As anticipation builds for Nicki Minaj's debut, we get visuals for a song that has hit written all over it. "Right Through Me" displays a much softer side of Nicki than we normally see, as she raps and sings about a guy she can't let go of. The song will be on her 'Pink Friday' album which hits store shelves November 22. The Queens femcee is aiming to become the third Young Money artist to have a number one album this year, following Drake and Lil Wayne. Expect the competition to be fierce though, as both Kanye West's 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' and Lloyd Banks' 'Hunger For More 2' drop on the same day.

Video After The Jump The subject of time traveling generally only comes up when you're watching a Hollywood movie, or reading a science fiction novel. A European film maker by the name of George Clark, claims to have found evidence of a real life time traveler in a 1928 film featuring Charlie Chaplin. Read what George has to say about the discovery below, then check out the clip. "This short film is about a piece of footage I (George Clarke) found behind the scenes in Charlie Chaplins film 'The Circus'. Attending the premiere at Manns Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA - the scene shows a large woman dressed in black with a hat hiding most of her face, with what can only be described as a mobile phone device - talking as she walks alone. I have studied this film for over a year now - showing it to over 100 people and at a film festival, yet no-one can give any explanation as to what she is doing. My only theory - as well as many others - is simple... a time traveler on a mobile phone. See for yourself and feel free to leave a comment on your own explanation or thoughts about it." Video After The Jump The recent parody of Waka Flocka's song "Hard In The Paint" where actors portray President Barack Obama and First Lady, Michelle as weed smoking, liquor drinking party animals is obviously intended to be funny. The only problem is, not everyone is laughing. In a New York Times article about the video "Baracka Flacka Flames (Head Of The State), both Waka and his mom/manager Debra Antney, voiced their displeasure with how African Americans are portrayed in the clip. “That they used it to be so sarcastic, it was almost a form of disrespect,” Waka said. Although he did share the link to the video on his twitter account.

Waka claims he tweeted the video to over 214,000 twitter followers to “let other people see how ignorant other people can be." His mom didn't mince words at all though. “That’s not a positive image for us, period, as African-Americans, where we came from, where we’re going today,” she said. Comedians have been making fun of our Presidents forever though. In stand up routines, on tv shows like Saturday Night Live and Chappelle's Show for example, the President is always made to look like an idiot. Harold and Kumar smoke weed with an actor portraying George Bush in the movie 'Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.' It's one of the funniest scenes in the movie. I don't remember people whining about Bush being portrayed as a pothead either. Harold & Kumar Getting High With George W Bush People need to lighten up and learn to take a joke for what it is. Either that or stop watching comedy. It's even possible we could see another Baracka Flacka Flames video in the future. Actor/comedian James Davis says Obama is one of the few people people he can accurately impersonate. “There’s a lot of impersonations I’m just naturally horrible at. I’m lucky the one I’m good at is the president," he said. Baracka Flacka Flames "Head Of The State"

People deal with the pain of a loss in different ways. Some cry, others fall into depression or get angry. Cleveland Cavaliers fans have done all of the above and more, since Lebron James bolted out of town to play basketball for the Miami Heat. It was kind of understandable when fans burned King James' jersey. It started to get wacky when an anti-Lebron billboard went up near his Akron, Ohio home. But now, Cleveland has officially gone off the reservation. The Associated Press is reporting Radio station WMMS-FM hired a witch doctor to put a curse on James this morning October 26. Hoping it would start taking effect tonight when Miami plays the Boston Celtics.

The station says the witch doctor used bones, blood and a James jersey to cast a voodoo spell on the basketball player. They say it's well deserved payback for Bron leaving the city. There's really only one word to describe this nonsense, and that is FAIL! twitter-5d.gifwho

Michael Jackson's status as the King Of Pop has long been cemented. Even in death he continues to shatter records. Forbes reports that MJ earned more than the combined earnings of 12 other entertainers on the list. He even managed to bank more loot than U2 and AC/DC combined. Estate lawyer Donald David, who handled 2Pacs finances says, "Jackson's kids are going to have grandkids before that money's gone." reports CNN. Jackson's earnings come from his stake in Sony/ATV catalog, album sales, the film 'This Is It', videos and anything else related to the late pop star. Adam Kluger of the product placement company, the Kluger Agency says the demand will continue to grow over time. "There is a strong demand for Michael Jackson's music and merchandise, and that will only increase as more material surfaces in the years following his death," he says. The remaining top 13 on the list are Elvis Presley, $60 million; author J.R.R. Tolkien, $50 million; Peanuts cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, $33 million; John Lennon, $17 million; author Stieg Larsson, $15 million; Dr. Seuss, $11 million; Albert Einstein, $10 million; New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, $8 million; songwriter Richard Rodgers, $7 million; Jimi Hendrix, $6 million; Steve McQueen, $6 million; Aaron Spelling, $5 million. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump T.I. is losing endorsement deals at a rapid pace. First came last week's news that AXE body spray had dropped him as a spokesperson. Now Rapradar is reporting that Remy Martin Cognac has done the same. Companies are losing faith in the rapper because of his recent sentencing to 11 months in prison for violating his probation. There is some good news on the horizon for TIP. His new album should released soon, albeit with a different title than we've been hearing about for months. He announced on the Ricky Smiley radio show, that his new album will be called 'No Mercy' instead of 'King Uncaged.' Tip was asked to name his top 5 rappers of all time while on the show. "I can never put it in just a top 5 because I need more spaces," Tip said. "You got Big and Pac, Andre 3000 and Big Boi. You got Bun B and I'm a personal fan of Pimp [C] myself. Then of course Jay, Eminem definitely one of the coldest. I think Kanye one of the coldest, Wayne as well." twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Everybody knows how much Wiz Khalifa likes to smoke weed. The man said recently he has a $10,000 a month habit. For whatever reason Diddy took notice. He recently talked to the Pittsburgh rapper about his herb intake, and put his stamp of approval on it. "Diddy was on the [tour] bus yesterday and he was like, 'man you ever met Snoop?' Wiz recalls. "I was like yeah, once or twice, but we talk on the phone more than anything. He was like 'man you remind me of Snoop, you got this Snoop aura.' That's just a blessing man, and the OG passed the torch... the bong on to me." Footage surfaced recently of Diddy on stage with Wiz. People began to speculate whether or not the two had a business relationship brewing. "That was my first time meeting him face to face. I had actually had a couple of conversations with him, chopping it up just being cool," Wiz said. "So he came out here to f*ck with me, then he came out on stage. That was awesome, but for right now we're just hanging out, partying. And we're going to do some music, some Ciroc things. We're just gonna be cool man, gonna be my homie. He's hitting me up now, wants me come smoke one with him. Well not with him, but around him. He wants to smell the weed that I have." The hell? twitter-5d.gif
