Herschel Walker continues to defy Father Time. The 48-year-old former NFL and college football star toyed with Scott Carson to pick up his second career mixed martial arts win on the Strikeforce card in San Jose, Calif.

Walker knocked Carson down with a left hook in the opening minute of their fight at the HP Pavilion and brutalized him on the ground for the next two minutes. Referee Dan Stell stepped in to save Carson at 3:13 of the first round. Walker is now 2-0 and said he plans on moving forward with his MMA career.

"MMA is my love," Walker said, when asked about talk of an NFL return.

Walker has been successful in every athletic endeavor he's attempted, so he's very demanding of himself in MMA.

"I was okay. I took a kick where I thought I was getting a little too excited," Walker said. "When you're in MMA, you should be able to take a kick like that."

Walker was a bull from the get-go.

"(My trainer) Javier Mendes told me I have to be on offense. Being a young MMA fighter I gotta control what I'm doing in the cage," said Walker.

The scenario surrounding the first knockdown was like scene out of a movie. Carson grazed Walker's face. The former football star appeared enraged and yelled in the air. He walked straight forward and floored Carson with a left. Carson got to his feet momentarily with 3:50 left in the round, but Walker lifted him in the air and tossed him back down. Walker dominated him on the ground working from hip control and landing punches under Carson's arms. The Californian did little to protect himself.

With two minutes left in the first, Walker backed off for a second to allow Carson to get back to his feet. Carson barely got to his feet, was drilled by a left hook and crumbled against the fence. The referee had to stop it.

For man his age, Walker's energy level was incredible. He threw 58 shots and landed 40 overall. On the ground, he was 36-of-53 (67.9 percent). Walker's combination of stamina and athleticism simply broke Carson's will.

Walker began his MMA journey in 2009 when he began training at a renowned MMA gym, the American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose. That's also the home of UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and UFC welterweight title contenders Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck.

Walker made his MMA debut last January. He showed off decent striking and grappling, with his gas tank being his most impressive element. Walker manhandled 26-year-old Greg Nagy for his first professional victory.

Walker's MMA exploits add to an unbelievable athletic resume. After a decorated career at Georgia, Walker earned a home in the college football Hall of Fame. He won the 1982 Heisman trophy as a junior. Walker went on to play 15 seasons in the USFL and NFL, where he rushed for 13,787 yards.

In the middle of his NFL career, he decided that he wanted to be an Olympian and took on the challenge of the bobsled. Walker made the U.S. Olympic team in the two-man bobsled and finished seventh at the 1992 games.

Back in the states after a two week European promo tour, Nicki Minaj blessed the Saturday Night Live stage yesterday.

The Young Money femcee performed two songs off her 'Pink Friday' album, "Moment For Life" and "Right Through Me."

She also participated in two skits, "The Bride Of Blackenstein" and The Lonely Island "Do The Creep" song.

50 Cent called into Shade 45 today during G-Unit Saturday and he was hitting all moving targets.

DJ Whoo Kid must have known what was coming because he dipped out the back of the building right before 50 called in.

But Nelson and Young Jack Thriller got jabbed lightly, as 50 told Nelson he needs to lay off the mayonnaise sandwiches, and talked about Jack doing cocaine out of his glass eye.

The only person the G-Unit General didn't mess with was Mimi. Fif keeps it cool with the ladies despite what you might have heard about a twitter incident with Ciara yesterday.

50 has so many projects he's working on, it almost seems like he never sleeps. His new Sleek By 50 headphones, his acting career, the new eye wear by Gunnar to name a few. But he did acknowledge he has a strong team around him that helps to keep things running smoothly.

The Nicki Minaj vs Lil Kim beef has some people picking sides. Fif weighed in on the situation.

"There's only two girls ... it's just about creating a sound from Kim's perspective," 50 said. "When I look at them actually competing I think it's harmless. They add interesting stories because Kim is the original and Nicki is right now."

He also confirmed his new album is almost done, although he wouldn't reveal the name of it just yet.

Much has been made of 50's dramatic weight loss for his role in the movie 'Things Fall Apart', which has helped generate a lot of interest in the project. The Cheetah Vision Films boss revealed the public will get a chance to see it soon.

"Things Fall Apart will actually premier March 5 in the Miami Film Festival," 50 said.

A bank robber made a key mistake trying to escape with a hostage in tow and got his brains blown out because of it.

Armed with a handgun and a fake bomb made of a sponge wrapped in foil and duct tape with copper wires sticking out of it. The would be thief entered a Capitol One Bank in Tacoma, Washington.

He was quickly in over his head as one customer tried to wrestle his gun away from, but got pistol whipped instead, while someone else hit the alarm button.

As police surrounded the bank, the suspect comes out with a hostage. Smoke from dye packets could be seen coming out of his bag as he moved towards he parking lot away from police. But then he slips, loses his grip of the hostage who run towards police. Inexplicably the suspect runs in the same direction and gets lit up with bullets.

Is Nicki Minaj's larger than life ass real, or has it been surgically enhanced?

That's a question many fans want the answer to, but will probably never get. One thing is for sure, her boss, Lil Wayne doesn't know, or at least he says he doesn't.

HollywoodTV caught up with Weezy as he was leaving Philippe's restaurant in L.A. When asked if the "Moment For Life" rapper's butt was real Wayne laughed and shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "I don't know."

When asked again, Wayne said, "I don't know... it's real nice I know that."

Detroit police have released incredible footage of a gun battle that took place inside a precinct Sunday (January 23), between Lamar Moore and police.

The gun battle started when the 38-year old Moore, armed with a 20-gauge shotgun walked into the Northwestern District station and started dumping shots at cops for no apparent reason.

Police officers return fire, fatally wounding Moore, but not before he managed to shoot four of them.

In the video below which is shown from two different angles, you will see Moore calmly walk in before the shooting starts. At one point during the gun battle he jumps over the police desk as he and Cmdr. Brian Davis shoot at each other at point blank range.

After Davis is shot in the hand and back, he throws a trash can at Moore who is already mortally wounded.  He can be seen slumping to the floor as the trash can bounces over a desk.

The four wounded officers survived and are recovering.

So far police haven't discovered a motive for why Moore went on the shooting rampage.

What should have been a normal business transaction turned into a grisly attempted murder in New York City yesterday.

Police say 33-year old Akeem Ajimotokan, Colombia University employee was attempting to sell his 2008 BMW for $46,000 to ex-con Barion Blake and nearly paid for it with his life.

According to reports the 6-8 230 pound Blake attacked Ajimotokan, stabbing him repeatedly in the face and upper body. The force of the blows broke Ajimotokan's neck and left one of his ears dangling.

After stuffing his victim in the BMW's trunk. Blake went through a series of events that included a police chase and car accident with a cab in Manhattan, that destroyed the front end of the BMW.

By the time police arrived Blake had fled. While inspecting the vehicle they found the victim in the trunk barely clinging to life. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he is in a coma.

Police also found a bill of sale in the car with Blake's name on it. The ex-con has several convictions for stealing BMW's in the past. Police are still searching for him.

"I am horrified and shocked," the victim's brother, Ayo Ajim, a Houston doctor told the New York Daily News. "I hope they find him quickly, so he doesn't hurt anyone else."

If you've ever seen a Tracy Morgan stand-up routine, or even a tv appearance on a late night talk show, you know almost anything is liable to come out of his mouth.

Last night on TNT's live pre-game Inside the NBA show, Tracy was asked by analysts Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley to pick between former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin and comedian/actress Tina Fey.

"Let me tell you something about Sarah Palin... She's good masturbation material," Tracy said. "With the glasses and all of that... great masturbation material."

While Chuck and Kenny laughed hysterically, their co-host Ernie Johnson quickly tried to end the conversation by saying, "wanna thank Tracy Morgan for stopping by."

TNT released a statement today regarding the incident which read:

“It's unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused.”

Most "caught on camera" crimes are usually shot by people not actually involved in the crime themselves. In Richmond, Virginia however, there are several goons who actually videotaped themselves assaulting 2 people, then uploaded the video to youtube.

This all went down last Friday (January 21). In the video several goons are seen jumping a man, then beating him down. When a second man tries to intervene, he gets beat up as well. A wallet was also stolen.

"It's not something we think people should be doing... attack people on the street or videotaping the attack," said Gene Lepley of the Richmond Police Department.

The victims were said to have been treated at a local hospital, then released. The police are still searching for the suspects.
