This years Grammy Awards Show is going to be packed with super star talent.

Dr Dre and Eminem will kick the show off with a bang. While it hasn't been revealed what songs the two will perform, it's almost a sure bet the new Alex Da Kid produced "I Need A Doctor" track off Dre's 'Detox' cd will be one of them.

Music Daily News is also reporting that Eminem will perform a song from his 'Recovery' cd.

Drake and Rihanna will team up for a perfomance reports the Grammys official  Twitter page.

And in what should be the most interesting collaboration of the night, Cee-Lo Green will team with Gwyneth Paltrow and the Jim Henson Company Muppets.... Yes you read that correctly, muppets.

Katy Perry, Lady Antebellum, Arcade Fire, Muse, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga have also been tapped to perform on the February 13 show.

LL Cool J, Selena Gomez and Nicki Minaj will be among the star studded presenters on the night.

This is one show music fans will not want to miss.

Mikey T The Movie Star caught up with M1 of Dead Prez recently. The two covered a lot of ground regarding Dead Prez's time in the industry. Why it's taken so long to release new material and how they almost signed with Jay-Z.

Since their 2000 release of their debut album "Let's Get Free", Stic-Man and M1 have provided a strong, positive voice withing the black community that has sorely lacked role models.

The strange and very sad saga of rapper Charles Hamilton continues to unfold right before our very eyes.

Hamilton was released from an Ohio jail last Friday (January 29), for punching a cop who was trying to arrest him for disturbing the peace. He was eventually charged with two counts of assault and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $25,000.

The rapper now has to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine of he's still a threat to himself or others.

This is Hamilton's 2nd stint in a psychiatric ward. He voluntarily checked himself into New York Presbyterian Mental Hospital last summer. When he emerged, he was in a wheelchair with pink wheels.

At that time he attempted to explain to XXL what was going on with him.

“The reason I’m in a wheelchair is because I have sharp pains since I was in the hospital and a lil bit before,” he said. “I have sharp pains when I’m walking and literally I want to collapse but I can’t I have to continue to walk. So my right leg has been acting kinda funny. I still have a lil’ mobility, I can still stand up in the booth…but I’d rather the mobility of my legs be jeopardized than my musicality be jeopardized at any given point of time."

Jay-Z continues to expand his Roc Nation imprint. This time he's inked DJ Harley Viera-Newton.

The 22-year old beauty born in London to an English father and Brazlian mother is also a rising face in the fashion world.

Reporter Elie Seckbach caught up with boxing trainer Joe Goossen to get his opinion on the May;7 boxing match between Manny Pacquiao vs Sugar Shane Mosely. Goosen feels like it's going to be a good close fight.

Tickets went on sale yesterday and within 3 hours, 16,000 seats had been gobbled up for the event at the Las Vegas MGM Grand.

"What would you expect? Manny Pacquiao is a cash generating machine. And it also goes to show you that Shane Mosely brings some cache to this fight," Goossen said. "Because a lot of people, including myself think Shane Mosely can be in this fight very easily."

Shane is getting older, at age 39 he'll have to be really crafty to slow down the whirlwind of punches from Pacquiao

"He's a little bit older, but do you think he has a little more on the ball than [Antonio] Margarito? Yes I think he does and he's gonna have a lot more head movement that Margarito. I think his hand is speed is gonna be better than Margarito and the punch that really worked for Margarito is Shane's best punch... and that's that left hook to the liver. Let me tell you, I've worked with Shane... the strongest liver shots I've ever felt, trust me." Goosen said.

The fight is already exceeding expectations for promotor Bob Arum, who marveled at how fast tickets were moving.

"Incredible, simply incredible, I have never promoted a fight that has sold so many tickets so quickly." Arum said.

One interesting sidenote to this fight. It will be held on Showtime instead of HBO. Don't worry, the change won't affect your ability to order the pay-per-view bout. It's just the first time in a long time either Mosley or Pacquia has fought on a network besides HBO.

Kanye West is a man that repays favors in a big way.

The Louis Vuitton Don called on artist George Condo to create the cover for his "My Beautiful Dark Fantasy" album.

Several were designed after the the initial one with a Phoenix straddling West caused some controversy.

As a way of saying thanks, West performed at the 16th birthday party of Condo's daughter.

According to the New York Posts Page 6, Yeezy performed a 30 minute set on the third floor of the Standard Hotel Saturday (January 29).

The young party goers said the night "the best of their lives."

Besides his associations with Mobb Deep and G-Unit, 40 has established his own brand with his Zoo Life movement.

But no matter how hard he puts in legitimate work, the police still sweat him on occasion. T-Pain's new album is just about wrapped and ready to go, except for one last collaboration.

The album needs a verse from Drake and it will be ready to go.

"I know yall waitin on the album but the last thing I need is a verse from drake and the album is complete. So find drake and tell him to hurry the hell up and finish the verse Hahahahaaaa." the auto-tune king tweeted.

Drake might be a little harder to pin down as he finishes up his own new album, while also contemplating making a reggae album as well.

The man credited with being The Founding Father of Hip Hop is gravely ill and is reaching out for public assistance to help pay his medical bills.

"Kool Herc is very sick," DJ Premier told listeners on his XM satellite radio show according to  AllHipHop. "For those that know about Hip-Hop, who we call the father of Hip-Hop, Kool Herc, is not doing well. It's funny how we have a father of a culture that still lives, where as in some cultures they are dead and gone even though they may still be worshiped or reflected on in some kind of way."

DJ Tony Touch announced via Twitter that Herc will be undergoing surgery tomorrow (Tuesday February 1).

The call for help is because Herc doesn't have health insurance. If you've ever been to the hospital without it, you know how you're treated.
