Fallon Fox was born a man. He underwent male to female sexual reassignment surgery in 2006, and now is a mixed martial artist fighting against women. Fox is scheduled to compete in a third MMA bout in April but his/her license is under review with Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation
"Our department is currently investigating allegations pertaining to the information provided on [Fox's] application," Sandi Copes Poreda, Director of Communications for the DBPR, which oversees the Florida State Boxing Commission, told Sports Illustrated.
Fox's next opponent, Allanna "Hands of Stones" Jones, says Fox should be banned from the sport.
"It doesn't matter what he [Fox] had changed, he was still born and developed a man," Jones told TMZ. "[WMMA] is just making a name for itself and this will have a negative impact on it.”
UFC fighter Miesha Tate told ESPN she wouldn't fight Fox.

"I have nothing against transgender people. You should live your life however you want. It's about fighter safety. I wouldn't feel comfortable getting in with someone who is a woman but developed as a man. I just don't think it would be safe," Tate said.
Now UFC commentator Joe Rogan is voicing his opinion by speaking out against Fox being allowed to fight women on his podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience."
"She calls herself a woman, but I tend to disagree," Rogan said. "She used to be a man but now she has had, she's a transgender which is (the) official term that means you've gone through it, right? And she wants to be able to fight women in MMA. I say no f*cking way. I say if you had a d*ck at one point and time you also have the bone structure that comes with having a d*ck. You have bigger hands. You have bigger shoulder joints. You're a f*cking man. You can't fight woman, that's f*cking crazy. You need to fight men, period. You need to fight men your size because you're a man without a d*ck."
Do you think Fox should be allowed to fight women?

New York Knicks player J.R. Smith joins Erin Andrews, Miles Austin, Wes Welker and Genevieve Boulanger as the latest celebrity to become an ambassador for SK Energy.
Voted No. 1 in Energy for 2013 by Product of the Year USA, The 50 Cent founded SK is fast becoming very popular among athletes, trainers and people looking for a quick, healthy energy boost.
Jr. talked to ESPN Playbook while filming a TV spot for SK Energy at New York City's Bath House Studios about why he became involved with the product.
What does it mean to you to be part of SK Energy?
It means a lot. It's a great thing to be a part of, especially with helping kids and homeless kids as well. It actually helps my game a lot, too -- to come out and get energized, and hopefully protect our home Garden court.
How did you first discover the product?
I started using it probably a month ago. It's so much better than the other brands -- you don't crash and all that, so it's been great. We've got a few guys on the team now using it.
What was unique about this brand?
The difference was not to crash. That's the biggest thing playing so many games in so many nights. You try not to crash as much as you can, and drinking an energy drink like this, it definitely helps me perform at a higher level than I want to perform at. And it helps me recover as well.
How do you use it?
Definitely before every game I use it. I use it during practice if I'm feeling sluggish. It definitely gives me that boost to go out there and perform. If not, Coach [Mike] Woodson is definitely going to be on me [laughs]. It gets my adrenaline pumping for sure.
Have you found that it's helped you on the court in the past month?
Without a doubt. It's been helping my play for sure, trying to get up for those low teams that are not in the playoffs race. It helps me come out with more energy on defense and helps my shot, too. Lately, my shot has been real flat, so I use the energy to get it up.
What's it like to be connected with Wes Welker and Miles Austin?
Actually, I'm a huge Cowboys fan, so I'm a big Miles Austin fan. And the way Wes works around the field, catching passes, you can tell it really helps his game as well. I really don't know those guys too well, but it means a lot to be a part of a good group like that.
I ran into you at a recent Power Rangers promotional event in NYC and now we're talking SK Energy. Do you feel you're getting to do more off the court in the city this season?
Yeah, definitely. I mean, just the overall outlook of people and the perception that people have on me, being in New York, being in a bigger market, I'm able to show the real side of me and get my real view across.
When you have a rough shooting night, like in the loss Sunday to the Clippers, you still seem very transparent with fans on Twitter -- even challenging those who call you out. You must really enjoy the social media experience.
Yeah, definitely. I'm really into my fans, whether it's good comments or bad comments. I'm really on the social media. Every mention I get, there's very few that I don't check. I like to respond to them to see how they react, see what their thoughts are -- not even about the game, but just everything.
For every SK Energy shot sold a child in need receives a meal through the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

Lil Wayne's condition has been upgraded. Doctors determined his condition had stabilized and have now moved him to a regular room at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles
TMZ reports that Weezy is now walking around on his own flanked by bodyguards and eating on his own. His release could be coming soon.
Birdman called into Hot 97 earlier and talked to Angie Martinez and Wayne's current condition and what may have caused him to become ill.
Baby said Wayne has been in the hospital since last Tuesday. He added that the Young Money CEO only had one seizure and that stories to the contrary were false.
At this point doctors don't know what is causing Wayne to have these seizures that began last October, but he suspects they could be from the rapper overworking himself.
"Honestly, to me it's his work ethic. How he put in, and what he believe in, and how hard he works. How much dedication he gives to music, and his fans, and what he's trying to accomplish in life. It had nothing to do with drugs," Birdman told Angie. "It's how he works. He works around the clock. He's just a hard grinder for this music, but it wasn't nothing about no drugs. He needs to get some rest, relax and take it one day at a time. He'll be back just as normal as anybody else. He just needs to relax for a minute."
**UPDATE** March 19th
Lil Wayne has been released from L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai hospital almost a week after suffering a seizure according to TMZ.
Doctors determined the rapper had recovered enough to be sent home and last night signed off on his release.
Wayne will continue to rest until he's back up to full speed. We wish him the best and hope he remains in good health.

Tiger Woods looks like he's ready to put the past behind him and move forward with the announcement that he's dating Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn.
The 37-year old Woods posted about the relationship today on his Facebook page.
This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.
The relationship has been rumored for months. It picked up steam when Tiger had his private jet fly Lindsey out of Austria when she was injured at the Alpine World Championships in February.
Elin Nordegren
It's the first publicly acknowledged relationship for Tiger since he divorced Elin Nordegren in August 2010 after nearly six years of marriage. The divorce came on the heels of a scandal where it was revealed Tiger had cheated on her with at least 12 women including a porn actress.
Tiger and his freaks
Following his split from Elin, Tiger lost millions of dollars in endorsements and his golf game completely fell apart. He reportedly had to pay Elin $100 million in their divorce settlement.
He's been playing better as of late.
The 28-year old Vonn was divorced in January 2013 from Thomas Vonn after fours years of marriage. She also announced the relationship with Tiger today via Facebook.
I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends. Thank you for understanding and your continued support! xo LV.
The new couple also released photos today. Did Tiger upgrade over Elin?
