Meek Mill appeared before before Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley on Friday in Philadelphia to try and work out a dispute with his probation officer Treas Underwood.

Underwood and Assistant District Attorney Noel A. DeSantis argued that Meek, real name Robert Williams, violated his 5-year probation by traveling outside of Philadelphia without telling Underwood of his whereabouts.

Terms of Meek's probation call for him to notify Underwood of his itinerary at all times, especially if he's outside of Philadelphia so she can notify authorities in those jurisdictions according to Philly.com.

Underwood said that Meek hasn't been letting her know where he is until after he gets there. He is "supposed to file travel plans listing time, date, address, and phone number of every place he will be when not in Philadelphia. He's supposed to call her when he arrives and leaves each site."

According to Meek his itinerary always changes because he's in demand.

"The problem is that I don't know," Meek said. "It changes every day."

The rapper is concerned about being in Philadelphia because it could lead to him getting in trouble of even injured.

"My best thing is to stay traveling," Meek told the judge. "Every time I come back to Philadelphia, someone tries to shoot me or get me back in trouble."

12349963289?profile=original

Meek also claimed that Underwood it trying to make it hard on him because they grew up in the same North Philadelphia neighborhood.

"You need to take off your hat as Meek Mill and put on your hat as John Doe, unknown person, and do what you're supposed to do," Brinkley said.

Meek is on probation for a 2008 drug and gun conviction.

Brinkley outlined new probation details and ordered the rapper back in court for a status hearing on June 28.

"You need to try to get this right next time," Brinkley added.

Beyonce released a new single yesterday titled "Bow Down/I Been On." In it the singer curses, using the words "b*tches" and "sh*t," which caused a stir among some of her fans.

Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg tells B's stans to calm down.

"There's so many women stans out there. Grown women who run around the second Beyonce does anything and start quoting, and hash tagging and acting like you're her," Peter said. "Chick you ain't Beyonce. You're just some chick who has a hero, even though you're older than she is. Beyonce curses and it was a plan. Everything about Beyonce, God bless her, is contrived, made up and overexposed. The plan was for Beyonce to curse and what are we doing? Talking about Beyonce cursing."

Does Peter have a point?

Beyonce is back and telling b*tches to clear the lane in her latest release. The track starts off with the HiT-Boy-produced "Bow Down." At the 1:09 mark, the Polow Da Don, Timbaland, and Planet VI-produced "I Been On" kicks in.
"I Been On" pays tribute to Beyonce's Houston roots with a chopped and screwed sound. In it she salutes Willie D of the Geto Boys and the late Pimp C of UGK.

Video After The Jump

With reports circulating that Lil Wayne's recent seizures may have been brought on by a "sizzurp" drinking binge, KTLA takes a look at the concoction that has becomes increasingly popular.

"Sizzurp" is cough syrup containing codeine and promethazine. It is known by various names like "lean," purple drank," "drank" and "Texas tea." It is often mixed with Sprite or Mountain Dew, along with pieces of Jolly Rancher candy.

12349957861?profile=original

It originated in Houston, but quickly spread across the country as artists like Three 6 Mafia, Beanie Sigel, 2 Chainz, Weezy, Future, Kreayshawn, Gucci Mane, Drake and others started to glamorize it's use in their songs.

Like any other drug, sipping "lean" can have deadly consequences.

12349957667?profile=original

Pimp C and DJ Screw both died after overdosing on the drug.

Codeine is in the same class of drug as morphine, people like to take it for getting a body high or a sense of euphoria," Pharmacist Julie Chen told KTLA. “Codeine can kill.”

2 Chainz spoke with Vibe in 2011 about his syrup drinking habit.

12349957900?profile=original

"I think people should be very careful because its addictive and can be fatal. You need to be your own individual. People are naturally curious about things but there comes a [point] where you need to let that go and that’s my opinion," Tity Boi said. "I’ve probably been drinking since maybe 2007 so it’s a little different for me because it wasn’t well- known but the truth about promethazine/codeine is that it’s a pharmaceutical drug. No one makes it in a tub or anything .Moderate use is cool but I think that’s hard for people to do that but I definitely don’t promote people using it."

12349944286?profile=original

Wayne told MTV in 2008 that it's impossible to quit a syrup habit cold turkey.

"Do your history, do your research. It ain't that easy — feels like death in your stomach when you stop doing that sh*t," Wayne said at the time. "You gotta learn how to stop, you gotta go through detox. You gotta do all kinds of stuff. Like I said, I'm a selfish-a$$ n*gga. I feel like everything I do is successful and productive. It's gonna be hard to tell me I'm slipping. It's hard to sit and tell a n*gga 'Stop.' 'F*ck, how can we tell this n*ggaa to stop when every f*cking thing he do is successful? This n*gga is making progress. He just went and talked to kids and that sh*t was amazing.' Feel me? So what am I doing wrong?

"Let me do me. Everybody's got their thing," he continued with frustration. "Why focus on me? Don't compare me to no one. Don't compare me to no one who has passed, and why they passed. I can walk out this b*tch right now and get hit by a bus. Don't judge me. You wanna judge me, put on a black gown and get a gavel. Get in line with the rest of them that's about to judge me. I got court dates every other month. It's me against the world — that's how I feel."

Anytime a substance that can be so dangerous is popularized through music or our culture, it becomes something that we need to be very worried about,” DEA Sarah Pullen told KTLA.
