Nukstarr is a Queens, New York based female recording artist specializing in Hip Hop music. Nukstarr has performed with the likes of Nems, Lil Mama, Juelz Santana, Phresher, Benny the Butcher, Maino and Jim Jones, to name a few. She has been rapping since she was a teenager, and has been on the female battle rap circuit for the past several years. In July 2021, she established Nukcleairs, which is her own brand of sneakers, and in June 2022 Nukstarr established her own label, Prominent Sound Music Group (PSMG), with her best friend Delisa “De-De” Noble, with the intention of providing opportunities for aspiring recording artists to present their music to the world. With the release of Bird Flu, a collaboration with NYC Hot 97's own DJ Chris Dollar, her and her team believe "She Got One!"

The Drug Enforcement Administration issued an advisory Tuesday about an "emerging trend" of "brightly-colored" fentanyl pills being used to lure children and young people. What is often called "rainbow fentanyl" has been seized by law enforcement agencies in 18 states just this month, the DEA said. "The drugs, made to look like candy, comes in several forms, including "pills, powder and blocks that resembles sidewalk chalk."
"Rainbow fentanyl — fentanyl pills & powder that come in a variety of bright colors, shapes, and sizes — is a deliberate effort by drug traffickers to drive addiction amongst kids & young adults," DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said.
Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, can be 50 times more powerful than heroin & 100 times more powerful than morphine. Fentanyl was developed as a pain management treatment for cancer patients but has become a widely used street drug linked to thousands of deaths from overdoses.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were more than 107,000 drug overdose deaths in the U.S. in 2021, with synthetic opioids accounting for about 71,000 of those.
Milgram says that two Mexican cartels were believed to responsible for an influx of fentanyl in the U.S.
"It's man-made," Milgram said. "So it's important to know that there is an unlimited amount that these 2 cartels can make. All they need are precursor chemicals that they are buying from China, from these Chinese chemical companies, bringing them to Mexico & synthesizing massive quantities."
In July, authorities discovered a half-ton of fentanyl in a warehouse in Culiacan, Mexico, in what may have been the largest fentanyl seizure in history. It had an estimated street value of $230 million.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (Click2Houston) – A man accused of killing a woman & injuring her sister in a shooting near Friendswood Monday has died after turning the gun on himself.
The victims have been identified as Redha Sayed, 18 & Mahenoor Sayed, 20.
It is believed the situation may have stemmed from an argument with the suspect. The man shot the 2 sisters & then fled the scene in a gray sedan.
Redha Sayed was pronounced dead at the scene. Mahenoor Sayed, who survived the shooting, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police located the possible suspect in the shooting while he was in a parked car, The man shot himself as they approached. He was transported to the hospital and later died.
A witness said that 2 cars parked right in front of his home as he & his wife were watching on their surveillance cameras.
“I feel it’s very graphic. It’s probably only something you’d see in a movie, but it’s real life," he said. I see a young lady get out of a vehicle. She walks up to the car & she opens the door & she’s having a conversation with whoever is in that car. It appeared to me that they knew each other & they were having an argument.”
He said 3 other women got out of the car & walked up to the car where the 2 were talking.
“She’s telling the other young lady, can she please move aside, move aside ... that’s when you heard 2 shots go off & both of those ladies hit the ground.

The man convicted of murdering 7-year-old Kennedy Maxie was sentenced on Monday to life without parole, plus 15 years. The judge said Daquan Reed showed no remorse until today. Maxie's mother, two grandmothers and aunt gave impact statements. The state also presented new evidence from Reed's social media accounts during the hearing.
Reed apologized to the family and said he's working to better his life.
Reed was found guilty on Aug. 18 by a Fulton County jury on all eight charges in the shooting death of Maxie just days before Christmas in 2020.
Atlanta Police said Reed got into an argument with someone on Dec. 21, 2020, in the Phipps Plaza mall parking lot. They said he left and fired his gun out his car window. One of those bullets hit Maxie in the head as she was riding in a car along Peachtree Road with her aunt and mother. She died the day after Christmas.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend was arrested this weekend after a dustup in Miami.
Rachel Wattley -- who goes by Jade -- was busted Sunday night on a battery charge related to domestic violence. She's been held on $1,500 bail at Miami-Dade County Jail ... where 69 tells us he's actually trying to bail her out.
Unclear what exactly precipitated this, but in footage obtained by TMZ -- you see Tekashi facing off with Jade & a group of women on the streets, this while they were all outside of a club. At one point, you see one of the ladies apparently try & swing on the rapper.
Eventually, Tekashi retreated to a luxury ride as people encircled him -- and it sounds like that's when cops finally showed up to break up the scene & find out what's what.
Officers saw Tekashi & Jade being escorted outside & engaging in a verbal argument. Tekashi left ... but when asked by a cop what had happened, he apparently told 'em Jade had hit him. They also say they saw marks on him.
The officers note they spoke to witnesses, who claimed Jade had struck 69 while inside & even grabbed at his chain. Although cops say they saw Tekashi with visible injuries on his face, they also say that in the end ... he didn't want to cooperate with them whatsoever.
Still, they had enough to cuff Jade & take her to the slammer. The cops say this whole thing was caught on tape from surveillance video inside ... plus all the other evidence.

SPRING, Houston (KTRK) -- A father had to shoot his own son, ultimately killing him, to defend his wife in Spring, deputies said.
It happened at about 2 a.m. in the 21700 block of Rhodes Road.
Deputies said the couple's 24-year-old son came home after drinking and started assaulting his mother with a liquor bottle.
He then charged toward his 75-year-old father, who grabbed a gun and shot his son in the chest, authorities said.
The son died at the scene, and authorities said the case will now likely go to a grand jury to determine if charges will be filed.
The mother, who is also in her 70s, was taken to a hospital with a wound to the head, deputies said. She is expected to be OK.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A couple’s honeymoon was cut short this summer after the husband allegedly left his new wife to solicit a prostitute, authorities said.
Sheriff Chad Chronister said Paul Turovsky, 34, was among the 176 people arrested following a months-long operation targeting human trafficking in Hillsborough County.
While on his honeymoon, Chronister said Turovsky answered an ad from an undercover detective posing as a prostitute. Chronister said the newlywed left his wife at their hotel and went to the undercover location, where he was arrested.
“We all probably have questions about how long this marriage lasted, but I think the only question here, with it ending to quickly, as a wedding guest, was it too late to get the gifts that they gave returned back to them?” Chronister said.
The investigation, which netted 176 arrests in total, focused on men soliciting adult prostitutes and also those looking for sex with underage victims. The sheriff’s office said most of the sting suspects were facing charges related to solicitation of prostitution.
The sheriff’s office said it arrested ten “Johns” who had inappropriate conversations or shared inappropriate pictures and videos with undercover detectives who they thought were minors.
Chronister said it was “disturbing” to see how many men wanted to solicit sex from undercover female detectives.
