D.L. Hughley says Donald Trump should be criminally charged over the Jan. 6 riots & he wants the former president charged with the death of a Capitol Police officer.
We got the comedian at LAX & he told our photog ... Trump would be staring at a slew of charges if he were Black, including manslaughter.
The way D.L. sees it ... Trump should be held responsible for the death of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who died the day after being viciously attacked by the mob during the insurrection.
Trump has yet to be charged by the Justice Department. The Jan. 6 Committee voted to refer Trump for possible criminal charges ... so potential charges are on the table.
As we reported, the Jan. 6 panel feels four charges are warranted for Trump ... obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to make a false statement, conspiracy to defraud the U.S. & insurrection.
While D.L. admits Monday's announcement won't do much to convince people Trump's guilty -- he says everyone has already made up their minds -- he tells why he thinks Donald is a criminal.

Tory Lanez's family & friends are banding together to help him avoid prison time & they're going after the jury, the music industry, Jay-Z & even suggesting Tory is a sacrificial lamb to do a solid for African American women.
Soon after Tory was convicted for shooting Meg Thee Stallion, an online petition -- Appeal Tory Lanez Verdict -- surfaced. So far, 19k people have signed on & it doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon.
The petition claims Tory's trial was a "circus of speculation, insufficient evidence, inconsistencies & drunken memories [that] left us without much moral certainty of any truth."
What's more ... Tory fans are attacking the jury, calling them irresponsible, claiming they rushed their decision & unjustly found Tory guilty on all 3 felony firearm counts.
The petition then lasers in on some wild claims -- "This case is also about branding, marketing, label heads & a music industry that pushes narratives based on who they have personally invested millions into. Could Jay-Z or RocNation be involved??"
And then, it becomes racial ... "Was this case taken because of a political pressure to fake protect black women? African-Americans went along with hashtags that didn't protect anyone & instead caused division between black women & black men."
It will be an uphill climb to win an appeal ... appeals courts generally don't throw out guilty verdicts because they may interpret the facts differently than the jury.

An organization that helps people bail out of jail & supported by big celebs -- has shut down after getting sued by a man who was shot days after the shooter was released on bail ... bail posted by the org.
The Bail Project has a list of big celebs behind it, including John Legend, Danny Glover & Richard Branson.
The Bail Project posted $3,000 bond for Rashawn Gaston-Anderson last December. He had been arrested on burglary charges & had a long rap sheet, including attempted grand larceny, carrying a concealed weapon, felony burglary & auto theft.
Six days after being released on the $3,000 bond, Gaston-Anderson shot a Las Vegas man, Chengyan Wang, 7 times.
Gaston-Anderson copped a plea on charges of attempted robbery, mayhem with enhancements for using a deadly weapon. He was sentenced to 7-18 years.
Wang, who apparently has permanent injuries, is now suing The Bail Project, claiming it did not do due diligence before posting bail for Gaston-Anderson. The Clark County D.A. who prosecuted Gaston-Anderson said, "One can say, in a sense, they are vouching for the person."
The Bail Project, which has posted bond for 51 people in the Las Vegas area since 2021, called the incident "an absolute tragedy."
The Bail Project reportedly violated the law by not registering with the Nevada Division of Insurance.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis County woman is charged with two counts of first-degree murder after she tracked down her stolen car & allegedly killed 2 men outside a gas station.
Demesha Coleman, 35, of Spanish Lake, was charged Thursday in the deaths of Darius Jackson, 19, & Joseph Farrar, 49. Another man was shot in the head during the shootout but survived.
It was not immediately clear which, if any, of the three men were suspected of stealing Coleman’s car.
Surveillance video showed Coleman walking up to a Hyundai Tucson at the gas station with a man who was also carrying a weapon. Police have not released the man’s name.
The video shows Coleman opening the car door with her gun raised, while the man opens another door, also with his gun raised.
Coleman opened fire and sparked the shootout, police said.
She told detectives during a recorded interview that she went to the gas station to take her stolen car back, police said.
Coleman, who has no prior criminal history, is charged with 2 counts of murder, 1 count of assault & 3 counts of armed criminal action.

A French hospital was partially evacuated Saturday after a senior citizen arrived with a World War I artillery shell lodged in his rectum.
The 88-year-old patient visited Hospital Sainte Musse in Toulon to have the antique explosive removed — but instead sparked a “bomb scare.”
“An emergency occurred from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday evening that required the intervention of bomb disposal personnel, the evacuation of adult & pediatric emergencies as well as the diversion of incoming emergencies,” a hospital spokesperson stated.
Bomb disposal experts at the scene determined there was little possibility the shell would explode inside the man.
Stunned doctors subsequently began the process of trying to remove the object — which measured almost 8 inches long and more than 2 inches wide — from the man’s rectum.
It’s believed the pervy patient inserted the item up his anus for sexual pleasure.
“An apple, a mango, or even a can of shaving foam, we are used to finding unusual objects inserted where they shouldn’t be,” one doctor declared. “But a shell? Never!”
Medics were forced to take the elderly man into surgery, cutting open his abdomen in order to remove the relic.
He is now in “good health” & is expected to make a full recovery from the surgery.

Adidas cutting ties with Kanye West has turned out to be a major gamble, because it has over half a billion dollars worth of the guy's shoes to sell, without his name anymore.
We already knew Adidas was planning to move forward with selling unbranded Yeezys post-split, but now ... we have a bit more insight into why. Insiders at the sneaker company claim Adidas is sitting on a huge mountain of Yeezys.
The inventory the company has amounts to about $530 million & Adidas is apparently eager to hawk them to avoid taking an even bigger hit than what it's publicly disclosed thus far -- which was already looking quite grim for end-of-year numbers.
In 2022 alone, Yeezys made Adidas upwards of $1.8 billion ... and made up around 7% of its total profits. The report also says Yeezy has stayed strong as a constant product in the Adidas wheelhouse since at least 2019, which might explain why Adidas took so long to finally cut ties with Kanye -- the dude (& his shoe brand) was literally its cash cow.
Adidas has reportedly already set a date for its first unofficial Yeezy release ... the company is calling it the Adidas 350 V2 “Granite," and it's supposed to retail for $230 -- dropping in January.
Adidas is banking on sneakerheads continuing to cop, because if they don't ... it could mean trouble for the shoe company.
