Derrick Rose is firing back at his ex-girlfriend, who is suing him for allegedly drugging her and participating in her 2013 gang rape.
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, claims Rose, his manager Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen invited her over to the Chicago Bulls point guard's Beverly Hills home. She alleges that once there, drugs were slipped into her drink.
The alleged victim says she escaped the home with a friend, but later that same night the three men broke into her Los Angeles apartment and raped her.
According to TMZ, she waited two years to pursue the current lawsuit because she was "ashamed and embarrassed" by what happened and was worried about her "conservative family" finding out.
On Tuesday, September 29, TMZ obtained new legal documents filed by Rose. In them he says his accuser "consented to sexual interaction with more than one co-defendant on more than one occasion, consented to sexual interactions on the day in question, and invited the defendants to her apartment and buzzed them in."
Rose maintains that problems between the two began when the woman became angry about not being reimbursed for sex toys she bought for the night in question. And the fact that he stopped replying to her text messages.
During the Bulls media day on Monday, September 28, Rose talked about the allegations.
“I will be proven innocent, but at the same time, it hasn’t affected anything. It’s not true. I take it as motivation,” Rose said. “I feel like the devil is just working. I feel like I’m on the right track as far as where I want to be at in my life. And I feel like when you’re that focused, people try to take you down. I’m very confident that I will be proven innocent.”

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (ESPN) -- Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pleaded guilty Tuesday in New Mexico District Court to one count of leaving the scene of an accident, but he will avoid jail time.
Judge Charles W. Brown granted Jones a conditional discharge and sentenced him to supervised probation for up to 18 months. The plea deal allowed Jones to avoid an official conviction of the one felony count, providing he adheres to the deal's conditions.
Jones, 28, pleaded guilty to fleeing the scene of a three-vehicle crash on April 25 in Albuquerque, a crash that resulted in a pregnant woman being treated for injuries. According to witnesses, the crash occurred when Jones ran a red light in his SUV.
The eight-time defending champion reportedly fled the scene on foot after he circled back to grab something from the vehicle. He turned himself in to New Mexico authorities the following day. The UFC stripped Jones of his 205-pound title on April 28.
Shortly after he accepted Jones' plea agreement with the District Attorney's Office, Brown noted, "Mr. Jones, you got real lucky."
The court also granted a request to not limit Jones' ability to travel for his professional career. He was ordered to make 72 appearances at charity or youth outreach programs. He received no fines or fees.
In a brief statement addressed to the court, Jones apologized to the victim, the victim's family, his family and his supporters.
"I am here to accept full responsibility for what happened and for my actions," Jones said. "I'm really hoping you can give me an opportunity to redeem myself."
Afterward, he released a statement giving a more in-depth apology while adding he doesn't know what his future plans are.
"My actions have caused pain and inconvenience in the lives of others and for that I am truly sorry and I accept full responsibility," Jones said. "I have been working hard during this time away from my sport to grow and mature as a man and to ensure that nothing like this happens again. I have learned a great deal from this situation and I am determined to emerge a better person because of it."
UFC president Dana White attended Tuesday's court hearing. The UFC has not yet provided an official statement on the matter.
During his arguments in court, Jones' attorney called the April incident a "huge wake-up call" for his client.
At the time of the crash, Jones (21-1) had been scheduled to defend his title against Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 on May 23. Daniel Cormier (16-1) replaced Jones on the card and won the title by submitting Johnson in the third round. Cormier is scheduled to defend the title against Alexander Gustafsson this weekend in Houston.
Jones is the first champion in UFC history to be stripped of a title because of disciplinary reasons.
In May 2012, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he crashed his Bentley into a telephone pole in Binghamton, New York. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DWI and avoided jail time.
Last December, the Nevada State Athletic Commission mistakenly tested Jones for substances of abuse while he was training for a Jan. 3 title defense against Cormier. Jones tested positive for metabolites of cocaine, but he was still allowed to fight, as cocaine is technically not a banned substance out-of-competition. He defeated Cormier via unanimous decision.

Be real with yourself. Being real is nothing you can try to be. You just gotta be. For real, you got a lot of actors out here."

There is no doubt that Drake is the man right now in hip hop. Everything he touches seems to turn into gold.
This week, the Toronto rapper keeps his winning streak going by becoming only the fourth act in history to land triple digit singles on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
Drizzy joins Lil Wayne, Elvis Presley and the cast of Glee as the only artists to land at least 100 singles on the chart. He surged into the top four this week when eight songs from his collaborative mixtape with Future, What a Time To Be Alive, debuted on the list.
Check out the numbers via Billboard below.
207, Glee Cast
127, Lil Wayne
108, Elvis Presley (Notably, Presley's career predated the Hot 100 by two years. He arrived with the first of his smashes, including "Heartbreak Hotel," "Don't Be Cruel" and "Hound Dog," in 1956, two years before the Hot 100's launch.)
100, Drake
91, James Brown
83, Jay Z

In mid-August, Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King was heavily scrutinized for allegedly being White despite his efforts in the Black community. Shaun's wife, Rai, came to his defense in a Facebook post, writing "he's no Rachel Dolezal." "There's no spray tan, no fake Black hairstyles, no attempt to make himself appear any more ethnic than he already does," Rai posted. "Whatever you think you know about him, you don't. Whatever you think has been uncovered, hasn't." Shaun himself even came out with a lengthy statement admitting he's biracial. Charlamagne Tha God, on the other hand, is simply perplexed by it all - mainly because he thought Shaun was White all along. "The sh*t confused the f*ck out of me," he admits to DJ Vlad. "I thought Shaun was White this whole time."
At the end of the day, however, Charlamagne doesn't "give a sh*t" either way since Shaun has proved time and time again that "he's for the cause." "Regardless of what he is, he knows what it feels like to be done wrong by police," Charlamagne explains. "He got beat the f*ck up by police - that's all that matters. He wants justice against police brutality, and who better to have on your side as a comrade than someone whose been through it?"
During this clip Charlamagne also shares his thoughts on people taking from the cultural movement with their own "All Lives Matter" campaigns. Though he feels it's "absolutely, positively true," "right now people are focusing on Black lives." "We're talking about 'Black Lives Matter' because America has shown us, historically, that maybe Black lives don't matter in this country," he continues. "And you know what? Whenever people try to shoot down the 'Black Lives Matter' movement and say 'No, all lives matter,' essentially what you're saying is, 'Black lives don't matter.'"
Watch on as Charlamagne compares Shaun King to Rachel Dolezal and more below.
