Taxstonehas been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and receiving a gun through interstate commerce.
According to court documents obtained by Bossip, the indictments were handed down on Thursday, February 16.
As we previously reported, Taxstone, born Daryl Campbell, was initially arrested on January 16, by U.S. Marshals New York, New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the New York Police Department at his aunt's home in Brooklyn, in connection with a May 25, 2016 shooting atIrving Plaza in New York City.
Prosecutors allege that DNA found on a 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semiautomatic handgun used in the shooting backstage at a T.I. concert, prove the weapon belonged to the "Tax Season" podcast host.
The shooting was reportedly the culmination of a beef between Taxstone and rapperTroy Ave, who was wounded along with two others. Troy's best friend and bodyguard,Ronald "BSB Banga" McPhatter, was killed.
Tax allegedly had the weapon before entering the green room that night. The gun somehow ended up in Troy's hands following a fight between the two.
Troy, born Roland Collins, is seen on surveillance footage firing the weapon as Taxstone flees.
Troy was arrested last May for his alleged role in the shooting. He pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and is free on $500,000 bail.
On December 25, 2016, an unknown assailant opened fire on Troy Ave in Brooklyn, New York, as he sat in the driver's seat of his red Maserati that was stopped at a red light.
The BSB Records CEO, was hit in the shoulder as well as grazed in the head. He was hospitalized for several days before being released with a bullet still lodged in his shoulder and a fragment in his head.
It was the second attempt on Troy's life in 2016. In May he survived after being shot in the leg in an attack backstage at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in New York City.
On Friday, February 17, 2017, Troy released footage via his Instagram page showing the damage his Maserati sustained during the Christmas Day shooting.
In addition to the bullet holes and shattered glass, there are also blood stains visible inside the vehicle.
"Bullet holes in the [Maserati]. They shot the sunroof ... they shot the drop," Troy says to someone off camera, before giving thanks to God for his survival. "God is great."
Police have made no arrests in connection with the shooting.

"some guy waited in line in the cold since 10am, bought my CD, when I signed his CD n shook his hand he TRIED to hit me off guard. the dude was released from a mental hospital last week, has a long record of mental illness n was off his meds. Very serious issues. He claimed he had wrote songs for Michael Jackson, Jay Z n was wit Birdman etc. I'm hoping he's getting the proper treatment he needs.
