T.I. has been hit with three charges stemming from his confrontation in May with a security guard who refused to let him him into his gated community.

TMZ reports that Tip, real name Clifford Harris Jr., was charged by prosecutors in Henry County with simple assault, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

The rapper was arrested following the incident. His attorney, Steve Sadow, issued a statement via the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

“The misdemeanor charges brought against T.I. are baseless, ill-founded and unjustified. T.I. never threatened or acted in a violent manner towards Euwan James, the security guard. Indeed, we understand the security guard was fired for the way he handled the situation with T.I. We had sincerely hoped that the Henry County Solicitor had better, more important, things to do to serve the Henry County community than prosecute an African American over a verbal dispute during an encounter with a security guard who was asleep at his post and was unwilling to provide his name to T.I. so T.I. could report the guard’s misconduct to his employer.”

A source close to the case told TMZ that T.I. is unlikely to face jail time.

California’s own Jay Rock released his third studio album 'Redemption' in June. The album’s victorious closing track “WIN” is the second single released from the project, following the popular 'Black Panther' song “King’s Dead.” “WIN” features vocals from fellow TDE label-mate Kendrick Lamar, and Jay Rock also had the entire TDE crew join him for the official music video. The track, which is produced by CT, Boi-1da and Vinylz, has racked up 15 million Spotify streams since its release. On the song, Jay Rock raps about his claim as a true “winner” in the rap game.

Video After The Jump

Body camera video shows Georgia police officers laughing as they use a coin-flip app to decide whether to detain a woman during a traffic stop. The video shows Roswell police Officer Courtney Brown asking Sarah Webb whether she knew how fast she was going. Webb apologizes, saying she was late for work, and Brown tells her to turn off the car and hand over her keys. Brown then returns to her car to consult with fellow officers about whether to arrest Sarah Webb or just give her a ticket. “What do you think?” one of the officers asks. Brown says she didn’t record the actual speed at which Webb had been driving. She then can be heard saying, “Hold on,” as she opens a coin-flip app on her phone. Officer Kristee Wilson suggests that heads should mean arrest and tails should mean release. Brown agrees and flips the coin in the app. “This is tails, right?” Wilson asks. “Yeah, so release?” Brown responds. But then Wilson suggests a police code for arrest, and the two can be heard laughing. The officers decide to charge Webb with going too fast for conditions and reckless driving.

Brown then arrests Webb, handcuffing her and putting her in the back of a patrol car. Police Chief Rusty Grant said in an emailed statement Friday that as soon as he found out about the incident he started an internal investigation and put the two officers on administrative leave. He said he couldn’t discuss details as the investigation is ongoing. “I have much higher expectations of our police officers and I am appalled that any law enforcement officer would trivialize the decision making process of something as important as the arrest of a person,” Grant said. The television station reports that the charges against Webb were dropped. Webb said she didn’t know that her fate had relied on a coin toss until the television station contacted her. “Wow, these people put my freedom in the hands of a coin flip,” she said. “And that’s disgusting.”

D.L. Hughley spoke to VladTV about his latest book, How Not to Get Shot: And Other Advice From White People, which led into a conversation about a bad experience he had while promoting his last book on Fox with Megyn Kelly. He explained that he didn't know Mark Fuhrman, former LAPD detective known for working on the O.J. Simpson case, was also going to be on the show. Hughley then shared that he initially thought O.J. was innocent, but he now believes the former star athlete is guilty.

Tekashi69 is a free man. The rapper's lawyers were able to spring him from Rikers Island a day after he had been denied bail.

He had been locked up since Wednesday after authorities arrested him on a warrant out of Houston. He's accused of choking a 16-year old boy at the Galleria mall in January.

TMZ reports that Tekashi's legal team got prosecutors in Houston to agree to a bail amount and then, during an emergency hearing in NYC, a judge granted him $150,000 bail there, which he promptly paid.

The 22-year old Brooklyn rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, must now surrender to Houston authorities on Monday in order to pay $5000 bail there.

Tekashi immediately made an Instagram video celebrating his freedom and thanking his team.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Former NFL tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. has been charged with raping an unconscious teenager 15 years ago.

Authorities say the 17-year-old girl was assaulted in 2003 in San Diego County.

Other details haven’t been released. Winslow hasn’t entered a plea yet.

The charge was added Thursday as Winslow was ordered to stand trial on charges of kidnapping and raping two women earlier this year in Encinitas, California. The women were in their 50s.

Prosecutors say the attacks were part of a three-month crime spree targeting middle-aged and elderly women.

Winslow has pleaded not guilty to those charges. He could face life in prison if convicted.

Winslow is the son of Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow. From 2004 to 2013, he played for Cleveland, Tampa Bay, New England and the New York Jets.

YG's got some legal issues to deal with in Las Vegas. He got into an altercation with a fan outside of the Cosmopolitan hotel in May, after turning down a request for a picture.

The fan responded by telling YG he's not a real celebrity. During a subsequent scuffle, YG allegedly snatched the guy's chain and left with it's diamond-laced pendant, which is valued somewhere between $3,000 and $9,000.

TMZ reports that the incident was caught on surveillance video.

YG, 28, born Keenon Jackson, turned himself in to police after finding out there was a warrant for his arrest. He appeared in court Thursday, July 12, to face a felony robbery charge.

The "My Hitta" hit maker was released after posting $20,000 bail.

The alleged victim also claims he was beaten up by members of YG's security team. He's suing for at least $250,000.

Video After The Jump

It was an emotional day in a Manhattan courtroom Thursday as Tekashi69 asked to be released from jail on bail. The 22-year old, born Daniel Hernandez, was arrested in New York City Wednesday, July 11, on a warrant out of Houston, when he returned from a European tour.

According to Page Six, the rapper expressed regret for skipping a court date to perform overseas.

“I’ve been very remorseful for my lack of responsibility. In the short time I’ve been incarcerated, I’ve learned my lesson to be more respectful,” said Tekashi. “I was not very responsible knowing it was that serious of a warrant for a misdemeanor.”

Because he is considered to be a flight risk the Brooklyn native's plea fell on deaf ears, as Justice Ann Scherzer denied his request for bail. She told him, “Even though you think it’s just a misdemeanor, it’s a crime.”

The Blast reports that the "Kooda" hit maker's mother wept upon hearing the judge's decision.

Tekashi is accused of choking a 16-year old boy at the Galleria Mall in January. He will remain jailed until his extradition to Houston on July 20.
