R. Kelly's got NO business getting out of jail -- regardless of the coronavirus -- according to the family of his GF Joycelyn Savage.
The Savage family's attorney, Gerald Griggs, says ... if Kelly is released, it would place Joycelyn "back into the hands of a predator." Not only that, but the family claims it would also put her at risk to potentially be infected by COVID-19.
Joycelyn's family says it believes the best option for her is to continue to "socially and physically distance herself" from Kelly, adding that he is "right where he belongs" -- penned up in Chicago MCC while he awaits trial in Illinois federal court.
We broke the story ... the disgraced singer asked to be released from jail over fears he could be infected with the coronavirus. He wants to be released on bond and says he's willing to wear electronic monitoring.
However, Kelly says he'd live with Joycelyn at an apartment complex in Chicago if he gets out, but clearly ... that's the last thing her family wants to see happen.
For the record ... Kelly has not tested positive for COVID-19, and Joycelyn has not had any contact with her family since a confrontation outside a courthouse in January.
Another one of Kelly's alleged victims, Lisa Van Allen, had an even stronger reaction to his request for release. She tells us, "This isn't Monopoly, there is no get out of jail free card! Not for an infected toe or for a pandemic! You do the crime, you do the time, just like the rest of the inmates!"
She added, "Put your grown man pants on and deal with it like the rest of the world is doing! He's where he needs to be. What better place to quarantine than in jail."
According to The Blast, Bronx-bred rapper French Montana has been sued for sexual battery. The woman anonymously filed a lawsuit under the pseudonym Jane Doe against French, his employee, Mansour Bennouna, and his Coke Boy Records label, the report states.
In the lawsuit, French and Bennouna are reportedly being accused of assault and battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent hiring, supervision and retention, and negligence. The woman is seeking unspecified damages for “extreme emotional distress, anxiety, flashbacks and depression” she has suffered as a result.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the woman states that French Montana invited her back to his home after they met at a recording studio on March 28, 2018. Once they got there, the woman alleges French and Bennouna both asked her to take a shot at around 6 a.m. She claims she blacked out shortly after and was rendered incapacitated. This is when she says several men “came in and out of the bedroom” and sexually assaulted her. The report states that she alleges French was one of those men.
The Blast adds that around 1:30 p.m., Doe says she “regained consciousness,” and awoke to find Bennouna “spooning” her. She also said that she “felt a pain in her pelvis, lower back and vagina,” and left the house in distress. Upon leaving French’s home, the woman had a rape kit adminstered at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. The investigation reportedly showed the presence of semen. She then reported the incident to police and accused the Bronx rapper of sexually assaulting her.
The woman claims she’s been forced to put her modeling and acting aspirations behind her because of the incident.
At the time of this reporting, French Montana nor his team have publicly responded to the allegations being levied against him.

Legendary Houston rapper Scarface has tested positive for coronavirus.
Face, born Brad Jordan, revealed the news today during an interview with his Geto Boys partner in rhyme, Willie D.
"I been to the point where I just felt like I was gonna die, bro," Scarface said on Willie D Live. "It started off as pneumonia in both of my lungs. Three or four days later my kidneys failed. Three or four days after that they tell me I can't move, I'm quarantined. I gotta wait until this subsides so I can see what's going on with my kidneys now."
We wish Scarface the best and hope he recovers soon.
