Kamaru Usman vs. Gilbert Burns will happen in 2020 -- the welterweight title fight is officially set for UFC 256 on Dec. 12, TMZ Sports has learned.

The fight was originally supposed to go down on Fight Island back in July -- but Burns caught COVID and had to pull out.

He was replaced by Jorge Masvidal, who took the fight on short notice ... but couldn't overcome Usman, who won by unanimous decision.

Now, Burns has fully recovered -- and a UFC source tells us the papers are signed, the deal is done -- we're getting the fight!

Also, we're told the UFC is close to locking up the highly anticipated Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal rematch for the BMF belt for the same night!!!!

Remember, those two originally fought back in Nov. 2019 -- but the fight was stopped by the doctor in the 3rd round due to cuts over Nate's eye.

Diaz felt the stoppage was BS -- insisting he was just getting warmed up!

Now, we're told everything is close for a rematch at UFC 256 ... and yes, the plan is for the famous BMF belt to be on the line again!

Breonna Taylor's boyfriend is going after Louisville police for the allegedly botched raid at her home that left Breonna dead, claiming he's the victim of police misconduct ... and he didn't actually shoot one of the officers.

Kenneth Walker filed a civil lawsuit Tuesday, asking the judge for a declaration of immunity from prosecution in the criminal case for firing a single "warning shot" after cops rammed the door to enter Taylor's apartment in the middle of the night back in March while executing a search warrant.

As you know ... police claim Walker's shot struck Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly in the femoral artery in his thigh, but his legal team refutes that.

Walker's lawyers say evidence indicates that police may have shot Mattingly as they were "firing wildly from various angles."

According to the lawsuit ... Walker was interrogated by police after the shootings and was then wrongfully and illegally arrested, detained, charged and prosecuted.

Walker now wants to avail himself of Kentucky’s stand your ground law, which he claims operates to prevent law enforcement from prosecuting him after he fired the shot in self-defense. In other words, it seems the lawyer is saying Walker had a right to fire a shot under the stand your ground law, so he would therefore be immune from criminal prosecution.

According to the docs, he's specifically concerned about being hit with an attempted murder charge that was previously dropped without prejudice.

Taylor's boyfriend is also seeking damages for assault, battery, false arrest and imprisonment, malicious prosecution, abuse of process and negligence stemming from the incident.

As we've reported ... none of the officers involved in the raid and shooting of Taylor have been arrested, though one cop -- Brett Hankison -- has been fired.

KY Attorney General Daniel Cameron recently received a critical ballistics report about Breonna's death, but claimed it was inconclusive.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A Kentucky judicial panel ordered that a judge accused of favoritism, dishonesty and other misconduct be removed from the bench, according to court documents released Monday.

The Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission said it found Kenton County Family Court Judge Dawn Gentry, who was suspended from the bench in January, guilty on 10 of 12 charges against her. The ruling follows a weeklong misconduct hearing in August.

The commission found Gentry:

*Allowed alcohol to be stored and consumed in court offices
*Engaged in sexual acts with an attorney who continued to appear before her
*Had a romantic relationship with an employee of the court
*Was not candid or honest with the commission
*Coerced attorneys to donate and work on her campaign
*Utilized staff during work hours to work on her campaign
*Appointed attorneys to a panel in exchange for supporting her campaign
*Retaliated against attorneys by delaying their cases for not donating or working on her campaign

Another attorney, Katherine Schulz, resigned after she said Gentry retaliated against her. Schulz wrote in an affidavit never filed in court that she faced the judge's "wrath" when she rebuffed sexual propositions from the judge. Schulz also said she saw others punished for not sufficiently supporting the judge, either politically or by showing up for performances by the judge’s band, South of Cincy.

Gentry has 10 days to appeal the decision, the ruling said.

While none of the charges against Gentry involved criticism of her rulings, the panel said that it didn’t lessen the seriousness of her numerous instances of misconduct.

“This case does not involve one or two isolated occurrences, but instead involves a pattern of misconduct and repeated exercise of extremely poor judgment — on and off the Bench — by the Respondent that continued for over a year,” the commission wrote in its decision.

Gentry, 39, became a judge in 2016 when former Gov. Matt Bevin chose her to fill a vacancy. She was elected in 2018 to a four-year term.

President Trump says cops who use deadly force and shoot someone are exactly like nervous golfers who can't sink the last shot ... seriously, he compared the two.

DT sat down for an interview with FOX News' Laura Ingraham Monday night, and while discussing high-profile police incidents lately -- especially with Black men -- Trump brought up Jacob Blake ... saying the officer who fired 7 times might as well have been Tiger Woods on a bad day.

It was so outrageous and tone-deaf, even Ingraham tried to steer him away, but Trump stuck to his guns ... and said cops who use lethal force are like golfers who "choke."

Trump did question whether the Kenosha officer, Rusten Sheskey, could've done something else other than shoot -- like tackling him -- but the comparison he made is still shocking and utterly lacking in empathy. As you know, Blake is paralyzed from the waist down.

As if that's not bad enough ... Trump's going to Kenosha Tuesday, ignoring the advice of state and local officials who desperately want him to stay away.

When news of "Black Panther" actor Chadwick Boseman's tragic death sent shock waves throughout the nation, residents of Boseman's hometown Anderson, South Carolina came together and decided to commemorate him in a meaningful and lasting way.

Hometown organizers launched a petition on Change.org to replace a Confederate monument in downtown Anderson with a memorial to Boseman. The petition had garnered more than 11,600 signatures as of Monday afternoon, nearing its goal of 15,000.

"Mr. Boseman spent his life uplifting the stories of Black Americans both real and fictional," petition organizer DeAndre Weaver wrote. "Throughout his career, he has brought to life such historical figures as James Brown, Jackie Robinson, and Thurgood Marshall."

Weaver emphasized how pivotal Boseman's influence has been to emerging Black American actors and artists.

"He opened many doors for many young black people with his leading roles in movies such as Black Panther or Marshall," Weaver added.

According to a South Carolina state website, the current statue was dedicated to the Confederate veterans of Anderson County and was built in 1902 by the citizens of Anderson County.

The petition requests that the statue be moved in order to pay tribute to Boseman's life and legacy.

"Mr Boseman is a hero to this nation but more importantly a hero to the town of Anderson. His legacy was one of excellence and equality," Weaver wrote. "It is only natural that his hometown honors what he did. There is no need for political controversy in this decision."

Several supporters weighed in on the petition to build a memorial to Boseman.

"The statue in downtown Anderson is a hateful disgrace to our loving community. Chadwick Boseman would be a perfect replacement monument because he represents Anderson's core values," Alexandria Bagwell wrote.

"He is the epitome of resilience and made a significant change in entertainment," Heather Haase wrote.

Boseman died Friday at the age of 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer. In "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler's emotional tribute to Boseman in the Hollywood Reporter, he described the "beautiful life" that the actor led.

"Because he was a caretaker, a leader, and a great man of faith, dignity and pride, he shielded his collaborators from his suffering," Coogler wrote. "He lived a beautiful life. And he made great art. Day after day, year after year. That was who he was. He was an epic firework display. I will tell stories about being there for some of the brilliant sparks till the end of my days."

Adult film actor Ron Jeremy was charged with 20 new counts of sexual assault involving 13 women, including a 15-year-old girl, in Los Angeles on Monday.

Jeremy, 67, whose legal name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, is accused of assaulting multiple women dating back as early as 2004 and as recently as January, according to an amended complaint filed by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. If convicted, Jeremy faces a maximum sentence of more than 250 years to life in state prison.

The new charges against Jeremy include six counts of battery by restraint, five counts of forcible rape, three counts of forcible oral copulation, and two counts of forcible penetration with a foreign object. Jeremy also faces a count each of sodomy, lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl, assault with the intent to commit rape and penetration by a foreign object on an unconscious or sleeping victim.

The women allegedly assaulted by Jeremy range in age from 15 to 54.

Jeremy is accused of preying upon a then-15-year-old victim, identified only as Jane Doe No. 5, sometime during June 2004. One of the charges of forcible penetration by foreign object also stems from the 2004 incident, when the girl attended a party in Santa Clarita, according to the district attorney’s office.

The most recent of Jeremy’s alleged crimes took place on January 1 with a 21-year-old woman outside a business in Hollywood, the prosecutor’s office said Monday. Jeremy was charged with forcible rape and sodomy in this case, according to the amended complaint.

Jeremy is also accused in a May 2014 incident, when he allegedly raped a 25-year-old woman at a home in West Hollywood.

Six of the alleged assaults occurred in a West Hollywood bar Jeremy regularly frequented, with a seventh allegedly committed in the bar’s parking lot, the district attorney’s office said.

Jeremy was previously charged in June with three counts of forcible rape and forcible penetration with a foreign object, and one count each of forcible oral copulation and sexual battery.

He pleaded not guilty to all eight counts in June. An attorney for Jeremy did not immediately respond to a request for comment to NBC News on the new charges filed Monday.

Jeremy is expected to be arraigned on the new charges Monday. He remains in custody in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.

Bullets fired from a passing vehicle struck and killed a 7-year-old girl who was attending another child’s birthday party over a violent weekend in the city of South Bend, Ind., according to police and reports.

At least 60 people were celebrating another child’s birthday on Donald Street in South Bend on Saturday night and had moved outside after gathering for birthday cake when the night took a turn for the worst, the South Bend Tribune reported.

“I would say about 20 seconds after we came outside, we hear gunshots, ‘Pow, pow, pow,’” SlyLavecchio Hines told the Tribune.

His niece, later identified by WSBT 22 as Chrisyah Stephens, was struck by a bullet shortly before 7:45 p.m.

“I ran and I was trying to grab her, to block her from the bullets,” Hines told the Tribune on Sunday. “But it was too late. As soon as I grabbed her, her body got heavy. I laid her down, I called her name, and then I seen the blood.”

A St. Joseph County Metro Homicide official said in a statement to WSBT that the girl was “in very serious condition” when police arrived.

“Initial information received was that multiple shots were fired from a vehicle driving past the home,” the statement reads, according to the report. “Although there were numerous people in front of the home when the shooting occurred, the child was the only person hit by the gunfire.”

Stephens was rushed to an area hospital but could not be saved. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning, WSBT reported.

By Sunday, four people had been shot in South Bend, Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski said, including Stephens, who Ruszkowski said was playing at the time.

“We’re almost at 100 people criminally shot this year,” he said, later adding: “Life doesn’t have to be and shouldn’t be like this, but in order for it to stop, our community has to say and do something. These shootings can be avoided well before becoming a police matter.”

Broner talked about how she moved like an adult and apparently heard things about people she's been involved with. Nevertheless, he said DMing her was a mistake and noted that Instagram should display people's ages.
