CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. - A woman working as an Amazon delivery driver was arrested in Castro Valley after she repeatedly punched a 67-year-old woman wondering where her package was.

Alameda County Sheriff's deputies took Itzel Ramirez, 21, into custody on Thursday.

That's after they received a 911 call from the victim who said the Amazon driver punched her at least 10 times around the face & head.

Video shows the Amazon worker repeatedly striking the other woman.

The owner of the apartment complex said it all began when the victim received an alert that her package had been delivered. But when she went to the lobby, it wasn't there. She saw the Amazon worker, asked where it was & the driver said she'd get it soon.

The victim waited for 15 minutes in the lobby, came back outside & asked where her package was.

"I believe the Amazon driver said something about ‘your white privilege,’ & my tenant said, ‘You don’t need to be a bitch about it,' turned around & walked away," said apartment complex owner Doug Smith.

Ramirez claims she hit the woman in self-defense.

"We can't have our delivery drivers or people out there in the community attacking people, punching people in the face," said sheriff's Sgt. Ray Kelly.

Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of battery causing serious bodily injury & elder abuse, both felonies. Her bail was set at $100,000.

Lil Reese is in more than a little trouble just 2 weeks after getting shot in the eye -- he's been arrested for allegedly beating the crap out of his girlfriend.

The Chicago MC was arrested on May 29 around 10:30 PM, after cops were called to his home. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, his GF told cops the couple got into a heated argument that allegedly turned physical.

Cops say she claims Reese pulled her hair and struck her in the face with a closed fist ... causing abrasion to her lower lip, which was visible to the responding officers. Reese was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

He was later released after posting a $10,000 bond.

The arrest comes on the heels of Reese getting shot in his hometown just a couple of weeks ago. As we reported ... the scene was a bloody mess after someone opened fire into a Dodge Durango that was reportedly stolen.

Reese was accused of being involved with the alleged carjacking, but he's reportedly denied that to cops. Nevertheless ... he was caught in the crossfire that injured 2 other people as well.

Mobile, Ala. (WPMI) — Terrifying moments for people on Clarke Street in Mobile overnight, as they woke to gunfire erupting outside. Surveillance footage NBC 15's Andrea Ramey obtained captured the sound of the shots. The mother of Mobile rapper HoneyKomb Brazy believes she was the target.

"They came back," said Tenecsha Jones.

"They keep shooting up your home?" asked Ramey.

"I don't even live here because... I had to leave because of that," said Jones.

Jones wasn't at the house when the shots were fired but had been at the home Wednesday and believes people saw her there.

"They shot it up again. I can tell. I came here yesterday," said Jones.

"And those weren't there," said Ramey pointing to bullet holes in a glass window.

"Not this glass. None of that," said Jones.

A family three doors down woke when two bullets came into their home overnight. They declined to talk to NBC 15 News. It’s unclear if the shots heard in the surveillance video hit both homes or if these were two separate incidents.

Jones says this is the fourth time her house has been shot at.

"Why do they keep targeting you?" asked Ramey.

"Because they want my son Nashon Jones dead," replied Jones.

Her son, Nashon Jones, is rapper HoneyKomb Brazy. He's currently s in jail accused of violating his probation. He was arrested in 2016 on gun charges. In February, Nashon's grandparents, Tenecsha's parents, were killed in a mysterious shooting and fire. Mobile Police can't confirm the overnight shooting is in anyway connected to any other investigation.

Jones says she just wants the shootings to stop before she loses another loved one.

"I'm kind of like shaky. I'm kind of like nervous. I'm kind of like upset, and I lost everything," said Jones.

Facebook announced Friday that former President Donald Trump’s accounts will be suspended for two years, freezing his presence on the social network until early 2023 following a finding that Trump stoked violence ahead of the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

At the end of the suspension, the company will assess whether Trump’s “risk to public safety” has subsided, Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, wrote in a blog post. He said Facebook will take into account “external factors” such as instances of violence, restrictions on peaceful assembly and other markers of civil unrest.

The former president called Facebook’s decision “an insult.”

“They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this censoring and silencing, and ultimately, we will win. Our Country can’t take this abuse anymore!” he said in a news release.

Trump has teased running for president again in 2024. His aides say that he has been working on launching his own social media platform to compete with those that have booted him, but one has yet to materialize. A blog he launched on his existing website earlier this year was shut down after less than a month. It attracted dismal traffic.

In its decision last month, Facebook's oversight-board agreed that two of Trump’s Jan. 6 posts “severely violated” the content standards of both Facebook and Instagram.

“We love you. You’re very special,” Trump said to the rioters in the first post. In the second, he called them “great patriots” and told them to “remember this day forever.”

Those comments violated Facebook’s rules against praising or supporting people engaged in violence, the board said, warranting the suspension. Specifically, the board cited Facebook’s rules against “dangerous individuals and organizations,” which prohibit anyone who proclaims a violent mission and bans posts that express support or praise of these people or groups.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy are facing attempted murder charges after police say the children walked away from a group home, broke into a house and used an AK-47 and other guns in shootout with Florida deputies.

The girl was critically wounded, but she remained in stable condition Thursday at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, according to law enforcement. The boy made his first appearance in court, charged with attempting to murder a law enforcement officer.

Each have been charged with attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer and armed burglary of a dwelling, according to a charging affidavit. Now it is up to the State Attorney's Office, which received the affidavits on Thursday from the sheriff's office, to decide on what charges to file, and whether the children will be charged as adults.

Authorities say the two children left the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise late Tuesday afternoon. Deputies found them after they broke into a home, according to the sheriff’s office. The children spotted the deputies outside and armed themselves with handguns, an AK-47 assault-style rifle and a shotgun they found in the home.

The children then opened fire on the deputies, according to the sheriff’s office. The deputies initially did not return fire and a supervisor can be heard on body camera video telling deputies to stay back and not approach the house as they tried to de-escalate the situation. The deputies later shot the girl after she pointed a shotgun at them.

The wounded girl can be heard crying on the bodycam video as deputies worked to save her life. A deputy can be heard calling her sweetie and asking her name.

Deputies fired a total of 60 shots, and eight deputies have been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the results of an investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The 12-year-old boy went before Circuit Judge Michael Orfinger on Thursday for his first appearance.

The boy stood quietly as Orfinger ordered he be held in secure detention for 21 days, according to video of the hearing. The boy's next hearing is June 23.

If charged as adults, the children could face up to life in prison, although since they are minors they would be entitled to have their sentences reviewed after 25 years.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Dramatic video footage released Wednesday by California police shows a Black man walking around an unmarked police vehicle, opening the door & pointing a gun at an undercover officer inside before the man was fatally shot.

San Jose Police Chief Anthony Mata said two undercover officers were conducting surveillance Monday on 31-year-old Demetrius Stanley & had no plans to arrest or confront him. Stanley, however, opened the car door & pointed his firearm, forcing the officer to fire, Mata said.

“Officers did not want, or anticipate, a confrontation that night & did everything possible to avoid having one. Unfortunately, the officers have no control over the actions of others,” the chief said.

Officials released still images of the shooting Tuesday but no details shortly before more than 100 demonstrators marched along street & a freeway to protest Stanley’s death.

Family members & some of those who participated in the protest accused police of withholding key details about the shooting. They said home-security video showed the officers were in plainclothes & an unmarked vehicle & did not announce themselves as police.

They said Stanley did not know he was dealing with police.

Mata said Stanley had acknowledged committing a March 12 armed robbery & was arrested and released on bail. On Monday, undercover detectives pursuing other allegations related to the robbery were trying to confirm where Stanley lived when he came out of his house carrying a gun & went toward one of the plainclothes officers on the street, the chief said.

The officer walked away quickly & Stanley returned to the house, tucking the firearm into the waistband of his shorts, Mata said. Another officer in the unmarked vehicle did not attempt to exit the car or confront Stanley.

Stanley then walked to the vehicle & opened the door with the firearm in his other hand, Mata said.

“Fearing for his life, the officer fired his weapon at Stanley,” he said.

Mata declined to name the officer, a 14-year police veteran, given the nature of the officer’s duties. Police said they recovered a 9mm unregistered ghost gun with an illegal high capacity magazine at the scene.

The protest march was led by the BLACK Outreach SJ and HERO Tent activist groups that protested last spring after the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and the San Jose Police Department’s violent response to protests in the wake of the killing.

“They’re going to try & say that it was as simple as he pointed guns at police officers, but that’s not what happened,” said Lou Dimes, president of BLACK Outreach SJ. “He was being stalked by people in plain clothing who didn’t identify themselves as police officers. He thought he was in danger.”
