It's no secret that prior to Young Dolph's passing, the Paper Route Empire CEO had a running beef with Collective Music Group boss Yo Gotti and his artist Blac Youngsta.

Diss records were exchanged as both Dolph and Gotti proclaimed to be The King of Memphis.

During a concert in Dallas over the weekend, Youngsta performed "Shake Sum." A song aimed at Dolph, which was originally released in 2016. Some people were quick to say Youngsta was out of bounds for dissing a dead man. Which prompted the 31-year old, born Sammie Benson, to respond to the criticism and rumors he wasn't making sure his grandmother's home was taken care of.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — A white security guard has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of an unarmed Black man at a Memphis gas station in August.

Court records show that Gregory Livingston has been indicted for the killing of Alvin Motley Jr. in a dispute over loud music in east Memphis on Aug. 7, The Commercial Appeal reports.

Motley was a passenger in a car at a Kroger gas station when Livingston approached and engaged in a conversation that prosecutors said steadily escalated, according to the documents. Subsequently, as Motley walked toward Livingston during the argument and suggested they discuss the matter “like men,” Livingston drew his firearm and fired a single shot into Motley’s chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a prior court hearing, Livingston’s attorneys cited an account from one witness that Motley had threatened Livingston physically during the altercation, according to the newspaper.

In this clip, Boosie reacted to being asked if he thinks OJ Simpson is guilty despite being proven innocent in his 1995 trial. Boosie stated that he doesn't speak on murder cases, but he went on to say that he remembers cheering with his family when the verdict was read. Hip hop star Meek Mill donated $500,000 worth of Christmas gifts to Philadelphia families in need on Sunday.

The line stretched for several blocks outside the Grand Yesha Ballroom on 2308 Snyder Avenue where the event took place from noon to 5 p.m.

Mill, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, arrived to greet the thousands of people who attended.

“I feel like if you can help, help,” he said. “We’ve been doing it for a while now in our community.”

Mill, 34, along with his DreamChasers organization and with support from Fanatics CEO and Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Roc Nation, gave away several gifts during the event, including macbooks, Amazon Fire HD tablets, bikes, helmets, gift cards, board games, dolls and winter coats.

“I’m trying to get him a laptop or like a tablet or something so he could play with it,” Lasheya Wright, a mom from Drexel Hill who attended the event, told NBC10. “He likes electronics.”

Wright said the past two years have been difficult for her family and she was blown away by the kindness of strangers.

“It’s great. I love it,” Wright said. “I love when people give back to the community. It’s the best.”

Mill also made a separate $30,000 donation to the Philadelphia chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas, a volunteer organization that provides supplies to families in need during the holidays.

“I appreciate it because it’s real inspirational to the youth because there’s a lot going on right now and it's a lot of killing going on right now,” Saeed Huntley of South Philadelphia said. “But it’s like he’s really helping. It’s real inspirational and I appreciate it.”

Mill, who was born and raised in Philadelphia, is a Grammy-nominated rapper with two Platinum albums and two Gold albums. His fifth solo studio album, “Expensive Pain,” was released in October, debuting at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

A thief in Delaware stole money from a bank -- and then put it straight back in.

On Saturday morning, Delaware State Police arrested 44-year-old McRoberts Williams after he allegedly demanded $150 from a Wells Fargo Teller, only to immediately go outside and deposit it into his account there via ATM.

According to investigators, the suspect walked into the packed bank wearing camouflage gear with the hood up -- but no mask -- and sporting a noticeable black eye; he approached the 25-year-old clerk and handed her a note which read: "This is a robbery. I need $150."

As the clerk obeyed and counted out the exact amount, he told her "I'm sorry", before walking out with his three-figure haul. She then pressed the emergency distress button.

When police arrived, they didn't have far to look for a suspect matching the description: he was sitting on an exterior staircase not 100 yards from the scene of the heist.

Police still had some detective work to do however; after searching him they found the money had mysteriously disappeared. What they did find on his person however was a Wells Fargo bank card.

Following the clues, investigators soon discovered where he had stashed the swag. Bank records show that immediately after the robbery, he went straight to the ATM at the exterior of the building and deposited the $150 into his account there.

During police interviews, Williams told them he had travelled to Delaware on the exterior of a cargo train, before pulling off the daring hold-up.

Per the probable cause affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, he also told them that his mind is currently being controlled by a third party via an implant located somewhere in his body.

Williams was charged with 2nd degree felony robbery, and detained at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $6,000 cash bond.

Kodak Black is clean and sober -- the rapper just successfully completed 90 days of drug rehab, and now he's turning his attention to his career ... prepping to get back on the road.

Kodak had a court hearing this week to reinstate his supervised release -- now that he's out of rehab -- and his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, says the judge was happy with Kodak's progress.

As we previously told you, the rapper and producer was ordered to a rehab facility a few months back after failing a drug test ... a violation of the terms of his supervised release in his federal gun case.

But, now he seems to be turning things around for the better and we're told he's taking his sobriety seriously.

He's already hit the stage too -- Rolling Loud California was his first live performance since his release ... after which, he headed back to Florida.

Cohen says Kodak is looking forward to making good music, and is going to try to stay away from people, places and things that would put him in harm's way, or trigger him to use again.

We're told Kodak is already getting hit up to tour overseas, but for now, he's weighing his options.

L.A. rapper Drakeo the Ruler is dead after a stabbing at the Snoop Dogg-headlined Once Upon a Time festival concert ... TMZ has learned.

Drakeo was one of dozens of billed performers at the huge all day event Saturday in L.A.'s Exposition Park.

He was backstage around 8:30 PM when a fight broke out -- and during the altercation he got stabbed ... according to law enforcement sources

We're told LAPD, California Highway Patrol and the fire department responded, and Drakeo was rushed to a hospital -- but multiple sources tell us he died from his injuries.

There are reports he was stabbed in the neck, but we haven't confirmed that yet. We're told cops are investigating, and will try to interview all artists and their entourages who were in the area when the fight started.

After the fight and Drakeo's stabbing, concert organizers shut down the festival -- so headliners like Snoop and 50 Cent never even took the stage.

CHICAGO (ABC30) -- While Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is in a U.S. prison, 4 of his children are either under indictment or under investigation by federal agents in Chicago.

They are known as Los Chapitos, the 4 most-trusted sons of the world's most notorious drug kingpin. Federal drug investigators in Chicago consider El Chapo's sons in charge of the Sinaloa cartel, the multibillion-dollar criminal empire once run by their father.

That cartel remains the Chicago area's largest trafficker of heroin, cocaine & methamphetamine. U.S. officials have now put bounties on each of the sons at $5 million per man.

From the moment Guzman was arrested in 2016 after a firefight with Mexican commandos, his sons were destined to assume the throne of the Sinaloa cartel.

Even though their father is believed to have dozens of children, four were groomed early to take over in his expected absence, WLS reported. Now, with El Chapo doing life at the super-max prison in Colorado, they are in charge. Sons Joaquín Guzmán López, Ovidio Guzmán López, Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar are in demand by American authorities.

Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, known as Alfredillo, is believed to be at the top of the heap. He's now under indictment in Chicago, charged with trafficking & conspiracy.

El Chapo's apparent number-one son doesn't hide his narco-world affluence. WLS has reported that he posts video of his expensive fleet of sports cars, private planes & the trail of cash that has made him a top target of federal agents.

The State Department has now put up $5 million reward offers on each of the Chapitos. U.S. officials have added a detail to the fugitive file of Ovidio Guzmán-López. They now say the drug lord nicknamed "The Mouse" has ordered the murders of informants, a rival drug trafficker & a popular Mexican singer who refused to perform at his wedding.

As important as El Chapo's four sons are to law enforcement in Chicago and Washington, they still aren't the cartel's "most wanted" drug fugitives. Sinaloa's co-founder Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada Garcia currently has a $15 million bounty. NEW YORK (AP) — British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell appeared in court on Saturday for a rare weekend hearing where attorneys made arguments about how the judge should instruct a jury on the law in Maxwell’s sex abuse trial.

U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan scheduled the hearing — held in an otherwise closed courthouse and with jurors absent — in an effort to keep Maxwell’s trial on a fast track that will have her case reach a jury early next week. Closing arguments and Nathan’s reading of about 80 pages of instructions are set for Monday.

Prosecutors and Maxwell’s attorneys spent the morning in federal court in Manhattan sparring over the exact wording the judge will use to describe to jurors the legal elements that must be proven to convict Maxwell on six criminal counts, including sex trafficking of a minor. One of the requests by Maxwell’s lawyers that was approved: the judge should refer to her as “Ms. Maxwell” instead of “the defendant.”

An attentive Maxwell sat at the defense table, sometimes taking notes. Her brother and sister, ever present at the trial these past three weeks, were among the spectators.

Maxwell, 59, has pleaded not guilty to charges that prosecutors say show that she and financier Jeffrey Epstein were involved in a scheme to groom teenagers to have sexual encounters with him. The defense has countered by claiming she’s being made a scapegoat for 66-year-old Epstein, who killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019 as he awaited his own sex trafficking trial.

The defense rested its case on Friday after Maxwell told the judge she wouldn’t testify.

“Your Honor, the government has not proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt so there is no reason for me to testify,” Maxwell said.

Kangol Kid, a member of the legendary U.T.F.O., Full Force and a Hip Hop culture pioneer, has reportedly passed away. He was 55.

Vibe reports that Kangol, born Shaun Shiller Fequiere, succumbed to colon cancer. He had been fighting the disease for months prior to his passing.

New York City promoter Van Silk spoke with HipHopDX on Saturday (December 18) and was able to confirm his death.

“I’m hearing Kangol passed,” he wrote via text. “I was on with Mix Master Ice last night. Trying to find out. RIP KANGOL KID. He passed at 3:02 a.m. My prayers go out to my brother who fought a battle of colon cancer at Stage 4.”

Silk added: “Early on, we discussed our fight with this disease because my fight with colon cancer is stage 2. He told me it had spread in October. I encourage all to get your prostate and colon checked. May my brother Kangol Rest In Heaven.”

Kangol Kid had received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis in February and immediately started chemotherapy. While he put up a valiant fight, his condition grew increasingly worse over the last few months. In October, Kangol revealed he’d been hospitalized and needed more surgery.

Originally a breakdancer, Kangol Kid made his breakout in Hip Hop as a member of the group U.T.F.O., which during the mid 1980s was one of the most popular rap and breakdance acts in the country.

In 1984, U.T.F.O.’s hit single “Roxanne, Roxanne” gained wide notoriety and climbed to the top of the urban music charts. In 1987, the group released their most popular selling album Lethal, which later that year became the number one selling rap album in the United States.

In 1985, Kangol wrote and composed for Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam’s debut album Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force. The LP is best known for the lead tracks, “I Wonder If I Take You Home,” “All Cried Out,” and “Can You Feel the Beat.”

A former NFL player was arrested in Florida Thursday for failing to register as a sex offender in Broward County.

Lawrence Julius Taylor, 62, was booked in jail at 3:14 p.m., arrest records show. He was released hours later on a $2,000 bond.

The former New York Giants linebacker was arrested on charges of failing to report a residence change to the Broward Sheriff's Office and the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

In 2011, Taylor pleaded guilty in New York to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute. The misdemeanor charges carried no jail time, but required Taylor to register as a sex offender.

The former NFL star was also arrested in 2016 on DUI charges in Palm Beach County.

Taylor is widely regarded as one of the best linebackers in the history of football. He spent 13 years with the Giants, winning Super Bowl championships after the 1986 and 1990 seasons.

Fetty Wap made a trip to the airport that ended with handcuffs after police allegedly got an alert about his ankle monitor.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Fetty was at Newark Liberty airport Friday, when for whatever reason, cops got an alert about his ankle monitor. We're told after officers spoke to FW and ran his info, they discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest.

Details about the warrant aren't exactly clear, but we know it was for public nuisance out of North Bergen, NJ.

We're told Fetty was arrested and booked for the warrant, but will be able to make bail and get released.

It's not the first run-in Fetty's had with the law lately, he was taken in by the FBI back in October. The feds claimed Fetty and his associates helped to distribute over 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey.

Agents say the investigation yielded $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl pills, pistols, handguns and a rifle.

Fetty was able to come up with his $500,000 bail for that arrest, so it's possible that's why he had the ankle monitor.

Federal agents investigating Young Dolph's murder are hoping their informants can help them crack the case ... but so far, the information provided hasn't led to any suspects or arrests.

Sources with direct knowledge of the investigation tell TMZ ... federal agents recently interviewed informants about Dolph's shooting death in Memphis, resulting in a few new leads.

While we're told there are no solid suspects yet, the feds are hoping the information gleaned from their informants will lead them in the right direction to eventually make a probable cause arrest.

Meanwhile, investigators from the Memphis Police Department are also probing the case and talking to their sources on the street.

Memphis PD Sgt. Louis Brownlee tells TMZ ... cops have received quite a few tips on Young Dolph's murder, and while investigators have followed up on that info, there hasn't been anything to lead to an arrest.

As we reported, Young Dolph was gunned down last month while he was inside a Memphis cookie shop, with 2 masked gunmen being caught on surveillance footage before they fled in a getaway car.
